Good tyre, great price – Well priced tyre on the lower cost side. We have had these on 2 cars now. They are marketed as a performance tyre, so they are little softer. I would say they are more daily drive than performance. We get 25 - 30 thousand kms life. Which for the outer urban area we live (hills, twisty roads) and our driving style is very reasonable for the cost.… Read more
Wet and the occasional dirt road performance is acceptable. Noise level is good at high speed on the motorway. Handling at high speed is also acceptable. Braking under pressure is OK, I want to stress that when really tested they held up but not as good as previously purchased more expensive brands. There are a lot of variables like the car itself, speed travelling, weather etc. If you drive like an idiot, these tyres are not idiot proof. Compared to more expensive brands these are a good tyre.
Compared to other expensive brands, way better – Had Hankook tyres and Sailun atrezzo zsr tyres, and got about 2000kms more out of the Sailun tyres. Didint notice any handling difference in the wet or dry. Tried Michelin and Pirelli and barely got 10,000kms out of them. Sailun were $130, compared to $170 for the Hankook, and over $200 for the other 2. Bought Sailun tyres again to be fitted tomorrow. Show details
Worst tyre ever – In June 2018 I purchased a set of 4 Sailun Atrezzo ZSR tyres as a replacement for the existing tyres on my 2014 Honda Civic hatch. They are absolutely the worst tyres I have ever had anything to do with and I can't wait to get them off the vehicle and get a reasonable set of tyres back on the car again. From the start the ride was noticeably… Read more
rougher than previously but, they seemed to hold the road well enough. Over the first year they became noisier and noisier to the point where the vehicle sounds like an SUV with all terrain tyres fitted to it. Wheel balancing and alignment have had no effect on the amount of noise generated. Every time I drive the car I am frustrated by the level of tyre noise at all speeds that I have to put up with, and I would not under any circumstance recommend these tyres to anyone else.
VE SV6 running Sailun - ATREZZO ZSR 245/35 R20 – Tyres are good for the price, however the first thing i noticed was how loud and bumpy they were. for me personally the car only gets driven once or twice a week and ive barely noticed the difference from a expensive brand tyre to this one. Im always cautious of driving in the wet but i wouldnt risk doing something stupid with these tyres. driven 4000kms so far and have barely notice any wear. Show details
Wear out to quickly – I bought 4 Sailun Atrezzo SH 402 tyres and never experienced a problem like this with all tyres wearing on the outside but plenty of thread on the inside and middle. They all need replacing after only 20,000 k. Doing my research to hopefully get better more wear in tyres this time round. Very disappointing. Show details
noise, noise, noise and more noise – These tyres are without a doubt the noisiest tyres I have ever owned. I quizzed the dealer prior to purchase and he informed me that these were amongst the quietest tyres on the market. Having now travelled close on 25K KLM on these tyres I can only say that the dealer spoke absolute rubbish. Whilst the grip and wear levels for this price of… Read more
tyre are acceptable in dry or wet conditions the noise levels at motorway and highway speeds can and do induce a loss of concentration and got this reason alone I urge all intending purchasers to carefully consider other tyres first. Happy to talk with anyone wanting more details.
Sailun Atrezzo ZSR, 20" low profile tyre on VE Sportwagon. Excellent bang for your buck! – I had a colleague ask for tyre recommendations recently, and when I gave him mine he had a quick check online and found this page... and was quite worried with the reviews! In reading some of these 'reviews' I strongly suspect some sockpuppeting going on by competitors with new users giving one review ever, which is very disappointing and unfair. … Read more
Some of these claims are laughable! These tyres are NOT dangerous! They don't wear unevenly and they don't have faults in the design of the side walls etc. People need to remember that these tyres are sold in Australia, and they have to meet our minimum safety standard. Calling them dangerous is inaccurate and alarming, and is most likely the opinion of those that have no idea about tyres- other than they are black and need air in them!
I run Atrezzo's in a low profile 20" tyre on my daily driving VE Sportwagon. I run completely different tyres on my track car with which I regularly enter into Super Sprint and Motorkhana events. I know tyres... I know how a good one feels, I know how it feels when one corner is a little low in pressure or not balanced 100%, and I know when a tyre is reaching its limits.
Now, I'm not for an instant suggesting that Atrezzo ZSR's are competition tyres. They aren't.
But using them for daily driving AT THE SPEED LIMIT to/from work, ferrying kids, long hwy drives from ACT to Vic etc, they've been good enough for me to buy them twice now with no complaints. They are not designed to be pushed day in day out, but in a pickle they respond very well for the price.
Low profile tyres in particular have an issue with road noise transferring into the cabin, and the Sailun's seem to do a pretty good job of limiting that. I don't push them too hard (wet or dry), but I've been in some unavoidable very heavy rain coming down Clyde Mountain (between ACT and the Coast, a road with 20km/h hairpin turns that will test the skill of any driver when conditions are bad), and they've performed well. Conversely they do very well on full day long summer road trips, and didn't give me any dramas with the extreme heat and a fully loaded wagon either.
Again, I'm not suggesting they are the same as top spec Japanese tyres, but they've served me well for a few years now with no complaints, and I reckon for the price they are worth a shot.
I think most of the poor reviews here are related to poor maintenance and/or knowledge of tyres. If your tyre brand new... it's going to be slippery! It needs a few hundred k's to wear in before expecting good performance. That's with all tyres and especially with harder compound tyres like these. If your tyre is not wearing evenly, it has NOTHING to do with the tyre, its an alignment issue. If the sidewall has blown out, it has nothing to do with the design... it's because you've not maintained the correct pressure, and the constant flexing of the under-pressured sidewall as it rotates weakens the inner bracing (just like if you bend a piece of metal repeatedly). If the tyre is slippery, its because you haven't worn it in yet. The ZSR is a HARD COMPOUND TYRE! It's not a soft compound semi slick that heats up quickly and sticks to the tarmac after a few minutes and for maximum performance but low life/km. It's designed for longer life, so the harder compound rubber will of course be less forgiving... especially in the wet. But it's not dangerous. It's knowing that you can't have long life and superior performance in one tyre! That's marketing rubbish. If it's a hard compound, it warms up slower, it lasts longer, but performs lower.
But if you drive to the conditions, at the speed limit, maintain the tyre (pressure, alignment, balance), and use commonsense, these tyres are perfectly acceptable. They will last about twice as long as something like a Falken 452, but will NOT outperform a flagship soft compound tyre from a big name racing brand.
They are a good, cheap, long wearing tyre that will perform very well in all weather- with the right maintenance, the right driver, with the right commonsense at the right speed. At $600 installed for 4 low profile 20" tyres, including balancing and disposal of old tyres, you can't expect miracles. But when my Falken's cost TRIPLE that and lasted half as long, its a huge difference to the wallet over a few years. Buy them with eyes wide open... good enough to protect your family, but not when you are driving like a tool. Remember that ALL new tyres need time to wear in. The harder the compound, the longer it takes. Depending on how much you drive per day, this might take a month or two! Harder compound = longer life and longer warm up time. A short trip on a cold hard compound tyre on a rainy day and it'll never get to temp. DRIVE ACCORDINGLY! It's physics.
Good dry weather performance tyre but be careful – I bought my VE SV6 Feb 2018 and it came with 4 new Sailun - ATREZZO ZSR 245/35 R20, very hard compound tyre and they took a month driving 80km 5 days a week before they had scrubbed up enough to show their true potential. Now nicely grippy in dry conditions on good road surfaces, responsive steering. Because of the hardness in the wet the road… Read more
surface needs to be very good, straight line braking and acceleration gip is reasonable but cornering is treacherous if the tyres are cold. In fact the improvement in traction once the tyres have warmed up is good in all weather and temperature conditions. Potentially this makes this tyre quite dangerous for inexperienced drivers or if you only do short trips. It is cheap at only just over $100 is wearing well and they look really good. But I would not have selected this tyre, my preference based on previous use and experience would be Yokohama, Bridgestone Potenza or best value for money and my next purchase Kumho PS71.
Worst and most Dangerous Tire EVER – They wear uneven, their noisy, they’ve been poorly designed. I had the drivers side front blowout the side wall yesterday due to poor internal wire design according to a tire expert. It slung my suv off the road and nearly killed me and my 2 year old! I definitely DO NOT recommend ANY of the Sailun atrezzo brand of tires!!! Show details
Bad idea – Have two put on rear of my au2 Ute done 6000ks they are all ready at wear limit and are rough as crap, no good in wet or even a shower of rain and they wear uneven.. And i don't go around doing burnouts they are just no good to now on i will pay at bit extra. Show details
Why all the bad press? – I bought two of these tyres back in May 2013 and they went straight on to the back of my S80. I am selling the car now (March 2018), they have still got 5.5mm of tread across the width of the tyre. No signs of cracking or deterioration in the tyres walls or tread pattern. These have only ever been on the rear of the car but I have had no problems… Read more
with grip either in dry weather or wet. They have covered 38k miles with no problems.
I did however purchase Attrezzo ZSR's for the front a short time later and whilst I did not experience any problems with grip or braking distances under a more strenuous workload they only managed to survive 2 years and 20k miles. Still not bad for a budget sector tyre. I don't exactly drive like miss daisy, but at 50 something my days of doughnutting and drifting are well behind me. Truthfully they are okay under most circumstances but perhaps not extreme conditions. Would I buy them again, quite possibly!
Good budget tyres – Good handling in wet and dry, have no issue at all with the tyres. i have done 30k in 3 years when i have this install on my car before it wear down to 5% threat. noise lv is low to average. remind u this is a 97 wanted be sport car so noise isolation is close to none the only complaint is the wear speed, otherwise i am really happy with it. Not that good – Purchased in April & it was a last minute purchase because the tires I wanted were out of stock. These are cheap tires & they're on the noisy side. Feel the bumps & vibrations on the road. They are a bit slippery in the wet too. I won't be purchasing these again. But you get what you pay for. Show details

very bad quality, wear after only 4000km – the worst tire i have ever used, during my first journey to the US and in 2600 Km the car started to slip and run out of control on wet road and I had to stop to see what was wrong as I discovered that the tire are wear. the company replace the 2 front tire for free but I had to pay &50 to install but i will never buy this brand again Show details
Atrezzo on FG XR6 – Good longevity, still going at 30,000km Wear is quite even across the tread. Below Average wet weather performance, Average performance in the dry. The NOISIEST tyres I've ever owned. Awful at any speed above 40km/hr. I would not recommend to others and I would not buy them again, simply due to the noise. They ruin an otherwise quiet car. GREAT TIRES!! – I have had these tires on my Hyundai Elantra Limited for 5 weeks and they drive like a dream. No noise, great control in rain and all around good tire for the cost. I have had big name tires and had similar problems as the other people on here say about these. Make your own opinion. Show details
Worst tyres ever – I had these tyres fitted to my FG G6E Turbo (I didn't choose them - I had no say in the matter). After 12,000km they were already down to the wear markers making them unroadworthy and needing replacement. One of them got a slow leak and needed more air added every few days. They make a deafening roar. Probably the loudest tyres I've ever… Read more
used.
The traction was admittedly not as bad as I expected, but still below average.
These shouldn't even be legal for use on Australian roads. They're appalling.
Sailun Tyres on my XR6 – Was happy with the price and general performance until half worn in the wet. The rear tyres would spin from the lights with minimal acceleration. wheels would also spin on grass !. I value my life, passengers and car to take the risk to buy again. another reviewer commented on "humming". I agree with that on the motorways when doing 110.
No WET GRIP – Don't get this tyre if you drive quite often and in wet conditions. They cost almost half the price of my old tyres, Yokohama C Drive. One day I was driving on a wet road, I hit the brake as the car in front stops but skidded and hit the car in front of me. And I was responsible to get his car fixed, costed me $850. Get a better tyre, yes they are more expensive but it also keeps you and your car safe.
They are good budget buy – I have bought two sets of Sailun Atrezzos. One for a station wagon and the other for a sedan. In contrast to other reviews here I had had good experience with them in the wet and they perform every bit as well as the previous tyres I had, which were Bridgestone. They don't cost the earth and do the job. If you are performance-oriented driver you may not like them but for A to B driving they are just fine.
Sailun Atrezzo SH402 – I got these for my Toyota Estima eight seater. 215/60/R16 95V XL. They have done 35000 km so far, on mixed motorways, highways, city and local roads. Still about half thread depth. However I need to change them soon due to wheel alignment problem causing more wear on two front tyres at the sides. Most drivers would still use them as they are not… Read more · 1
completely bold at the sides. Both my wife and myself have had near misses situation when we nearly t-boned drivers who dashed out of minor road without looking. The tyres have good grip both on wet and dry roads, unlike some reviews here. I am surprised this tyre is not getting better review in Australia it deserves because it has better than average reviews in the US. I would still buy these but check for misalignment of front wheels more regularly, which seems to be the case for most front-wheel drive cars. cornering, general riding and value for money can't think of any so far.
Extremely dangerous. Do not buy these tyres!!! – Please avoid at all cost! These tyres have no grip at all in wet conditions. (even just a little wet) If you need to brake in wet conditions with these tyres, you will skid. At high speed, you will lose control of the car. Even brand new tyres or tyres with plenty of tread will have the same problems. Mine were brand new when I find out about… Read more
the problem.
Lesson learned: don't buy cheap tyres and read reviews before you buy.
Unsafe due to no grip in wet condition

Avoid, terrible in rain – I have the 235/45 ZR17 on a Ford Falcon BF These tyres are absolutely terrible in the rain with hardly any grip and likely to induce an accident unless driven with caution. I would avoid these tyres at all cost and invest in some better quality rubber. Not worth the cheap price. Cheap Lack of grip in wet weather
Sailun Atrezzo SH402 – I put Sailun Atrezzos on the rear wheels of my 2005 Ford Focus because the tyre fitter didn't have what I wanted in stock. These tyres are rubbish, and almost caused a serious accident when I slid out of control on a roundabout in light rain at low speed. I have never in 40 years of driving felt so unsafe because of tyres. They have forced me to… Read more
drive like an old woman until I replace them which will be very soon. The price up front. They have plenty of tread left, but have lost their road holding power - typical chinese rubbish.
Absolute nonsense - the road was probably greasy. Tyres with plenty of tread left can't lose their roadholding power LOL!
Great tyres – I have these tyres on my Falcon ute and am impressed with the grip in the wet. Utes are notorious for sliding around corners because of the light rear end but these tyres just hang on. Got them on a set of mags that I bought on ebay but I will definitely buy again. Good grip in wet Nothing really
Sailun Atrezzo tyres – I put 4 new tyres on my Honda Euro recently. I dont know how and why but I made a foolish decision for saving a few bucks to put these Chinese tyres on. They are made and look solid and aggressive but look is a deception until you drive on them. Awfully handling in wet. I had to totally focus and hold the steering firmly. It feels like slipping… Read more
left, right and floating. I do not dare to drive fast on these tyres in the wet condition. Even in the dry condition, it feels like it s not going to hold if you push, especially around the corner. Basically they are terrible tyres and should be banned from the road. Stay away from any Sailun tyres that s for sure. $130 per corner for a 235/45/17". No grip in wet condition, awful corner handling ability, very noisy tyres,
