Never again will I buy a Samsung product Ice maker just falls out into the collection tray below fills with water and freezes making it almost impossible to get the cube container out as its freezes solid Show details
This fridge is defective!! I had a spill of liquids and it got caught in the bottom shelf, there is no way to clean this. Unlike other Samsung fridges, the shelf is unable to be pulled apart to clean. Samsung have not been able to provide a permanent solution (terrible customer service) and stated that spills aren't a manufacturing defect, which… Read more
is insane - spills are bound to occur in a fridge. It's such a shame because I love everything else about the fridge.
Why on why did I buy another Samsung fridge, should have learnt after our previous Samsung had nothing but problems. The new fridge has a serious issue with the ice maker, when it's on the fridge makes a loud high pitched squeal, it sounds like someone is vacuuming it's that loud. We have to keep turning the ice maker off as it's unbearable.… Read more
Samsung sent out their technicians (Camtec) who must be on a retainer with Samsung as they are useless and of course rule in Samsungs favour. Was asked to take a sound recording of the fridge, what a joke a sound recording will never be clear when it's downloaded and emailed to someone. My next option is consumer affairs I guess as the clowns at Samsung don't want to help, fridge is three weeks old.

One star because I cannot give this zero stars. We purchased this fridge on the 12/01/24. On the 26/02/2025 we found our fridge at 18 degrees and had to quickly move all our food out and made a request for service with Samsung. The repair technician has since been to our house 4 times in the last month and a bit. During theses visits he has… Read more
replaced the board, the sensors, the valves and the compressor. There is nothing else now serviceable on the fridge and it is still unable to keep temperature. The Samsung tech support told the technician at our house that we open the freezer door too much and we need to keep it closed for a week so that they can reevaluate whether it is working. To say this is a ridiculous solution and to blame our behaviour on a fridge which is not performing is unacceptable. I am unable to keep more than 1/4 of non perishables in the fridge otherwise the temperature skyrockets. Apparently that is not considered unusual by Samsung. I have 4 adult children and most of the food they eat is in a Schmick bar fridge on my bench. It is packed to the rafters and keeps perfect temperature. We are frustrated that Samsung are refusing to acknowledge this issue. The result is now we have to wait for another tech support group to contact us. Last visit we were told by the Samsung tech support that if this continued as there was nothing else to fix the only resolution would be a replacement or a refund. We need a refund to go and buy a new fridge that works, so that our family of six are not living out of a bar fridge on our kitchen counter. Please see photos attached. One is the amount of food we can keep in the fridge otherwise it can't cope and the temperature in the fridge goes up. The second is our bar fridge packed to the rafters with perishable food which stays nice and cold. I do not recommend you buy this fridge unless you want warm food. Samsung customer support has been anything but supportive.

Faulty fridge – Good - Love the design , it suits our family of 6 Bad - We have had this exact same model fridge replaced 4 times over the past 5 years , they have all had the exact same issue/fault with freezer working perfectly but top fridge area suddenly stops cooling and left with a warm fridge. Our most recent replacement fridge was April 2024 and now… Read more
on the 21st November 2024 our fridge has stopped cooling again.
Every time our fridge has stopped working we've had too throw food out due either not being home over holidays or no where to put the food.
When asked about compensation for food loss, we were asked to provide photos of food in the fridge and freezer, receipts for food to prove you actually bought it. We emailed all documentation to Samsung only to be denied every time. Being a family of 6 this is becoming a very expensive exercise everytime the fridge stops cooling .
There needs to be recall or investigation as too why this same issue is continually happening on this model fridge

Not designed for Aussie Homes – Bought this online and three things I hate that had I'd known, I would not have purchased. The doors are vinyl wrapped. Although it looks good, it doesn't take much for the vinyl to get damaged from accidental bumps (see included picture). Secondly, the top left door was poorly designed for Aussie homes. The water dispenser and jug does not need… Read more
to be so tall. I have included a picture with a large beer mug and there is still plenty of unecessary space. Because of this, the two shelves above are smaller than they should/could have been. The top shelf fits 375ml cans but good luck taking one out from the door-in-door (The whole point of this feature). You have to tilt the can and this can only be done by sliding the can toward the back of the shelf otherwise there is no clearance (see photo). Good luck doing that if the shelf is full. Middle shelf should have also been taller as some sause/condiment bottles don't fit. Lastly, Ice tray is also flawed. Everytime i scoop ice out of tray, I get blocks of ice that fall from the back of the tray and fall to the lower shelves. Terrible design

Frustrating customer support, disappointing build quality, not happy customer – I was unlucky to buy the "silver" version of this fridge - SRF7500SB model which is identical to SRF7500BB. First of all - the fridge has been delivered with a broken bottom left freezer door (was not properly opening and closing.) Next, after ~18 months of usage both freezer bottom doors started to get cracked on the plastic top by themselves.… Read more
The first time doors was replaced but issue started to return every 2-3 months. At the moment I have THREE escalations to Samsung about this and THREE claims to replace doors and Samsung does not want to listed about bad quality and plastic issues on the doors which has been confirmed even by the service engineer.
Next, during preparation for the third service replacement - the left leveling foot stopped working - it is just spinning but not leveling the fridge as it should.
Samsung declined the replacement and started to claim it is "customer damaged" which is an absolute nonsense as issue has been identified INSIDE the fridge and the foot itself is not an issue (but mounting bolt inside the fridge is and it is purely quality/manufacturing problem).
At the moment I'm sitting with broken fridge for > 2 weeks and Samsung cannot provide any meaningful answer what is going to happen next to rectify this. The story is not finished yet but I have all signs that they are trying to avoid service under warranty which is direct violation of the consumer law.
Customer support keeps ping-ponging me between agents, agents not following their own policy to call me back "within 24 to 48 hours", managers avoid to be in contact, etc etc etc.
Please be aware of all of this considering to choose Samsung as a supplier of your home appliances.

Looks beautiful and works great – Love the look, especially that the drinking water is hidden. The ice trays are always full and dont have ice falling on the floor like the others with the ice shute on the front. Plenty of space in both fidge and freezer. Very Happy with our purchase. Spacious fridge – Very spacious fridge and freezer, plenty of room and compartments for easy storage of everything. Love the hidden water dispenser and jub behind the door, especially great when you have toddlers to keep little hands away from the dispenser. Jug of water has been by far the best part, makes refilling bottles super quick and then you put it back… Read more · 1
and it auto refills so it's ready for next time. Ice maker in the freezer is good, get 2 different sizes of ice, it does make alot, so we find it overflows sometimes and falls down behind the shelves but not a big issue. Temp is always consistent, and easy to change from the control in the fridge. Found it to be a quiet fridge as well, compared to others we've had in the past especially in regards to the ice and water dispensers, very faint refilling noise.
Perfect for the ice lover – This fridge has the best features. Unlike our previous fridge, you don't have to open the door to access the plumbed water or the auto refilling water jug. I also love the two ice draws (reg and crushed) that also auto refill, so you never run out of ice. Perhaps the best feature is the fingerprint resistant matte exterior. Samsung also has fantastic customer service that we cannot fault. Show details · 1
Disappointing Fridge Poor Service – Fridge is noticeably smaller than my last one but around the same size and price. The water jug seems to be better idea than the tap. Had issues with the left side door not activating the middle seal due to the door leaning in. Received the run-around from Samsung who gave me a number which eventuated to nothing. Tried to fix myself with the… Read more
washers I eventually found, Samsung did not suggest or offer to send me these. Multiple calls to service companies confirming Samsung hadn’t given me a number they could charge back (Fridge was 3 months old). Left door still swings shut and won’t stay open.
Freezer is tiny and fairly unusable with only 2 drawers and 2 shelves. Last model had 4 drawers and 4 shelves. Everything is a balancing act stacking food. Ice tends to overflow and fall down into the shelves and drawers. Also too full to get ice out without knocking ice everywhere.
Part has chipped already off a corner door.
Overall a pretty bad fridge and even worse service and support from Samsung. Would not recommend either.

SAMSUNG Fridges – SAMSUNG asked me to go privatately and discuss the issue with the Fridge that's been broken down for 10 weeks now. They fed my a pack of crap about them being sorry and they would try harder at customer relations because it Wass really hurting the company. WHAT A LOAD OF BULL. fridge today (Friday) BUT he couldn't get it down the driveway, and he said wasn't taking the old fridge away and he wasn't connecting the fridge to see that it worked. SAMSUNG you don't care about customer service and what I sad before YOU ARE A bunch of LIARS. The sooner you are out of business the better for all.
Hey Blue, was this fridge a result of an exchange remedy?

No issues after one year - feels like ice magic – Having her in this now, for 12 months, I am a big fan of all its features and particularly love the endless ice, the automatic filling jug, and the large spaces in both fridge and freezer. We upgraded from a 500 L Samsung fridge and went with a few kids the extra 200L or so really makes a difference. But if you can, connect the water because it… Read more · 1
the icemaker is not just a party favourite, but makes drinks more enjoyable pretty much every night over dinner. We use the chilled water jug daily as well and it feels like magic every time you take it out and find it full and cold. You do only get one glass of cold water out of the beverage centre cup filler but after that, it is just room, temperature, water, and you can add ice to it!
The temperature all seems fine and we are throwing out a lot less fruit and veg. – despite the complaints I have seen on here about the lack of adjustment for crisper ventilation. I have changed the water filter once and found that there are third-party brands making cheaper options for about $30 each which is up to half the price of a Samsung water filter.
We have barely used the retractable shelf, although it might come in handy for cooling multiple bottles of drink for a party. (Our fridge is usually too full to allow room to remove the shelf.)
The beverage centre is indeed very helpful when you know what you want, and it's a regularly access milk and butter or cheese or eggs. You can also fit 2 x 3L milk in the right hand side door which should satisfy most large families.

Major manufacturing fault – Most expensive fridge ever brought (almost $4K) and it only lasted 6mths. The ice tray cubs/bites shattered. We were only after this to be replaced, but Samsung is refusing to fix, saying that they don't have any stock, Now this has a major manufacturing fault, but they are still selling the fridge. How is this possible with a major fault and… Read more
they can still sell, but can't replace 1 small part of the fridge. The customer service team haven't been helpfully. Been going on for 2mths, and they keep asking what is wrong. Different case managers nearly every week. Trying to get a hold of someone is a long process. Samsung only wants to give a store credit - now we will be worst off if we do this. Not happy with this - only 6months old I would NEVER get another Samsung in anything

Very disappointing crispers – My main focus at purchase was on crispers as I go through a lot of veggies. If I could return it, I would, based only on this gripe. Firstly I was frustrated at not being able to find any French door fridge with decent crispers, so this was the best option at the time. Current fridges do not have deep drawers anymore. This is due to the… Read more
manufacturer making them narrower to fit in the kitchen cavity space at the expense of actual storage space. It makes absolutely no sense when it has to sit well forward of the opening to accommodate opening the doors. The crispers are quite square shaped and cannot fit silverbeet or celery in either way. The worst thing though, is there is a one cm gap between the shelf above and the drawer so there is continual excessive air flow, rendering carrots limp after only a day. There are surprisingly, sliding air flow adjusters fitted that are utterly useless because of the gap! Really bad design considering it has every other feature, bell and whistle you could want. Apart from this one thing the fridge is fantastic.
Outstanding fridge, very intuitive to use – Fridge is very open and items are easy to see. I am loving the layout of the freezer. The only negative, and it is minor, is that the digital readout is inside and can be awkward to read at times. That being said, it is minor and otherwise is outstanding. Show details
Major flaw – Left door auto-closes and will not stay open. Very annoying when taking stuff in and out. Samsung said it's normal because the left door is heavier. Defeats the purpose of having a 4 door fridge. Hope Samsung can take note and fix this issue? Show details
Perfect fridge for us, LOVE it! – Absolutely love this fridge. Fabulous design. Great use of space, especially the freezer, which has 3 open front drawers, 2 regular drawers and another section for the two small drawers with different size ice blocks, plus shelves in the doors. Also love the smaller "door within a door" on the fridge which houses the auto-filling infuser jug, we… Read more
use it many times a day and keep milk and butter/margarine in this small door too. We bought the black one which looks cleaner as it hides fingerprints. Never thought I would get excited about a fridge but this one is brilliant!
Good design, but a couple of issues – This is our third Samsung fridge, the first, a large top mount in white, we had for 10 years before giving it to our son, whose family including two teenage boys are constant entertainers, love the size and reliability. The second Samsung, the largest available bottom mount in black with reversible doors to fit our narrow galley kitchen, hasn't… Read more · 1
quite got the capacity we need. Two water jugs with inbuilt filters use up a lot of door pocket space, and the small and fiddly ice tray and bucket is insufficient for our needs, whilst the freezer is a bit too small for less frequent but larger shopping trips due to Covid.
We had used French and twin door fridges in holiday apartments but noticed the external ice and water dispensers couldn't handle QLD summer heat, which seeped through the rubber ice flaps and melted the ice cubes. But we liked the overall door idea and were happy to see Samsung reworking the plumbed water and ice system to overcome the shortfalls.
So this new Samsung, in a French door design, fits our kitchen due to having narrow doors and its internal water and ice system works a treat. The inbuilt filter means both our ice and water has been treated, and the automatic jug and ice bucket filling means we never run out of either. The water dispenser is great for filling a glass or water bottles.
The freezer is huge with lots of drawers and door pockets, and the twin ice buckets with included scoop, never need any manual filling. The wide shelves in the fridge are very handy.
One can never get everything perfect, and the three main downfalls are the beverage centre cant hold a milk carton, and the fridge section only gets down to 8 degrees so champers and beer never get icy cold. Additionally, the fridge uses twice the power of our bottom mount unit, but it is still lower than our first Samsung.
Spacious – We bought our fridge at Normal Harvey and the sleek design and 24 months warranty caught our attention, the pricing however did not it; $3799 The fridge is practically “plug and play”; easy to plumb the water due to the kit that come with the unit. Plenty of length to connect and just snap and hand tighten screw and the fridge is good to go. The… Read more
beverage centre is great design and does not take up much space, the fridge is quiet during operation, cleaning the door from kids hand printed is easy with microfiber cloth, and lastly the option to select the size of ice cubes was very clever design and one that I love.
Right now with the heat wave in WA the fridge been used more then the usual and we experienced no issue with the temperature. The closing of the door is smooth and quiet as one would expect from the price and being new. My only design suggestion would be to improve this fridge would be more adjustable height within the fridge interior spaces and not restricted at the door for; wine bottles, juices, milk etc.
This fridge still need alot of testing – Had this fridge for one day, we notice left hand side of the fridge is too heavy. And the seal flap does not engage properly all the time. Which require you to manually open the other door and manually put it in place, or else cold air escape. The door is not aligne. Even after the plastic washer they give you. And after open and closed a few… Read more
time the washer will start to slip out. We call the customer service and speak to the manager. They said it was the retailer fault. That they didn't assembled it proplerly. We call up the retailer, and they said the fridge come pre-assemble. We was really dissapointed in samsung. We won't recommend this fridge at all and feel like it will not last.
