Samsung DV90BB Range

I purchased a Samsung AI Heat Pump Dryer (Model DV90BB9440GBSA) expecting a premium, reliable appliance. Unfortunately, it has been one of the most disappointing consumer experiences I have had. From early on, the dryer developed an intermittent fault where it would sometimes work and sometimes fail. The dryer repeatedly filled the heat exchanger with water instead of draining correctly, creating a significant safety concern. To make matters worse, the dryer frequently displayed the wrong error message, instructing me to “Empty Water Tank” even though the real issue was water accumulating inside the heat exchanger.

Samsung sent technician on multiple occasions over approximately six months. Despite four repair visits, they were unable to identify or fix the fault. Instead they removed the hose to drainage and claimed that it works even though they have a log of failures. This explanation was simply incorrect. I have a Samsung washing machine connected to the very same drainage pipe and has never experienced any drainage issues. In addition, if it was ever drainage, it will not be intermittent error but a constant one.

What disappointed me most was how the case was handled. Instead of acknowledging that the fault could not be resolved, Samsung continued to try to find excuses with their final email saying that the dryer works in line with their acceptable operational standards. I am now in the middle of lodging a case against them in Office of Fair trading. Be careful and do your research, my experience is that I had to deal with them for 5 months, painful online experience that you need to create a case each time and re explain the case again and again with no resolution and online chat that disconnects every 2 min and no one giving you a case manager or link to call someone about the case. Honestly horrible experience, I have never had issues with my previous dryers (Bosch brand) and I am never going to buy it again.
