2nd purchase from Mobile Federation, highly recommended – Love my Samsung s21 ultra, it's like new. Reasonably priced, everything works well, can't fault it. This is my 2nd purchase from this company, yes reliable, straight forward service. Show reply
This is still one of the best – This phone although a bit long in the tooth is still one of Samsungs better performing phones. The cameras are brilliant and over its a very user friendly phone especially for those of us getting on in years. The quality is there being a phone that has stood the test of time and is totally reliable with most apps the display and settings easy to navigate as well Show details · 3
Horribly inaccurate keyboard – This phone has a horribly inaccurate keyboard. Coming from Sony it's a real shock how bad this phone is to type on. Even typing this message took several attempts. Just a terrible user experience.
Galaxy S21 Ultra – The Galaxy S21 Ultra is a really well equipped phone however when it comes to extended screen use the display is very prone to screen burn in. it will always be repaired under warranty but there is the few weeks where you are without the phone you're paying to use. Show details
The best phone I have ever had – this is the best phone i have ever had. sure i had to spend a lot of money but if you can afford it you will not be disappointed. amazing screen, great battery life, etc. don't understand the negative reviews here, i cannot recommend this phone highly enough Show details
Mother board goes out after 8 months NO Warranty coverage – Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra is a piece of crap. After 8 months with NO damage to the phone I suddenly have a black screen. Had to send it to Texas repair center where they are saying. PBA fried after automatic update. It is under warranty until March 31 2022, They are now saying NO warranty coverage and they want another $509.00 to repair it. The… Read more
repair ticket states, "Power, power No Power after automatic update" The phone is in perfect condition with no damage ever to it. After only 8 months they admit mother board fried as a result of their automatic update. They don't warranty against their updates damaging the phone.
Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G - Does not come with charger! – Curiosity got the better of me at JB HiFi today! Saw the Galaxy S21 Ultra 5g mobiles sitting there on the shelf and could not resist the temptation given they were on sale, Samsung's "flagship phone"! Saved heaps on their black Friday sale, so one would have been nuts not to give this phone a try with all Samsung's media hype and fanfare! Quite… Read more
surprised Samsung's Galaxy S21 Ultra 5g "flagship phone" did not come with a charger or even a cord! Cannot find an SD card slot anywheres?
The monkey glass on the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G gives the phone added durability too!
The Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G has 12gb of RAM too, has flash notification options so the phone flashes at you when one gets a call or message, also has great ear and speaker volume for calls, and is MADE IN VIETNAM, that's a bonus!
One DOES Love Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G's face recognition and fingerprint sign in, however must still enter pin via keyboard after rebooting.
Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G's camera is great, and have posted day/night feeding time pic's to give you an idea. Great videos up to 8K. 100 x zoom gives blurry images and anything over 10x loses clarity. DAYLIGHT HDR photos are great and can be in the range of 40mb Per pic, so the large internal memory is justified.
One posts these Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G PHONE FEATURES for your information.

ONE MAJOR DRAWBACK with Samsung is their Technical support. All overseas, and you can hardly hear them, and they are not exactly concerned about fixing this.
Will update this review in time.
Extremely disappointed – Samsung seems more obsessed with adding useless features than keeping quality attributes. Camera is fine, but if you want to actually use it as a phone it is a disaster. Capacitive screen is often unresponsive. Reception is waaaay worse than my old S10, needing wifi assist in places the S10 worked without issue and constantly dropping calls. Have… Read more
to turn off 5g just to get signal in many areas as it will default to poor 5g over strong 4g. I love android and this is my fifth Samsung. It will also be my last. Avoid at all costs.
Dissatisfied – Before your spend the ludicrous amount of money on this phone research well and understand what you want from your phone. I love my music collection so If your old school like me and rip CD's to the S21 Ultra you will be sadly disappointed as Samsung in their infinite wisdom decided not to support WMA files anymore, you will need to convert every… Read more
song to MP3 first, a frustrating clunky process but it can be done.
I hate the fact they have taken away the external SD card option too. The phone is that new (less than 24 hours old) I have not had an opportunity to trial the camera yet, I have high hopes for the remaining functionality of the phone.
I will say Samsung Smart switch perfectly replicated all my apps, layout, background etc as I had things arranged on my S10+. The only reason I bought the phone was the ever dwindling battery life on the S10+ and a microphone issue that made it difficult for people to listen to me during calls, the reason I mention this is if battery life is a weakness on phones like this then the battery on the S21 Ultra will probably be dodgy 12 months before the plan is paid out. Samsung had a large following largely because of external memory capacity and a wide range of file formats support 2 x things they've removed! I wont be purchasing another Samsung Phone after this if they don't fix these issues.
Worst phone Samsung ever produced – Bulky phone with poor software, apps keeps shutting down frequently , have to restart atleast 4 times in a day , only camera is good but I didn't buy phone for a camera , my note 8 was far superior in quality and handling . I'm regretting to buy this phone on 2 year plan Show details
Incredible phone/camera – Two of us (both male) bought S21 ultras 5G 256Mb phones last January. These were upgrades from Samsung S9 pluses. The transition & data transfers were just so easy & secure, no passwords were copied in the process. Neither of us are real mobile phone users, in fact making or receiving calls is rare & more business related than friends. We do… Read more
though use our phones for social media, emails (as well as on computers) but we do take a lot of photos, especially when on holidays. I play the occasional game but resist to conserve battery life, which is actually excellent. These phones are quick on startup (they are switched off at night), a good size albeit needing large pockets, but not that heavy. The screen size is ideal & the clear-view Samsung cover really great, it never marks & easily wipes clean. What is absolutely fantastic though is the camera & its ability to take incredible photos with a zoom up to X100 - amazing (see images). The image of the moon taken a week back was at X40. These Samsung phones just keep getting better so what really can be improved? We are so happy & would recommend them despite the cost, there is no better - go for it!
A Very disappointing Phone – The S21 ultra overall is a disappointing phone. It has a decent 6.8 inch Dynamic Amoled 120Hz display which can adjust its refresh rate depending on the kind of content you’re viewing but overall its not noticable compared to a 90hz refresh rate. the s21 ultra does supports a new S Pen accessory from Samsung but to be honest its something that… Read more
doesnt get alot of use. it's bright enough with Gorilla Glass Victus, the camera bump does stick out alot which makes the phone unstable on flat surfaces but using a case fixes this minor issue. its a heavy phone but over all these are small issues. Where the s21 ultra disappoints is with the chip, being an exynos 2100 which affects the phone in so many ways, The Exynos can’t sustain its peak performance throttles content and becomes slow, day to day use is really annoying. There are too many preinstalled bloatware and apps, facebook, twitter netflix tname a few and you cannot uninstall these apps, your stuck with them. The phone In daily use slows and stutters and chewed through the battery, you will not get a full days use without having to recharge. .
The elephant in the room is the cameras. they sound good on paper but in use they are a huge disappointment. For samsungs flagship 100x zoom smartphone the cameras are really bad, image focusing, artifcting are some of the worst problems, it constantly struggles to focus, over saturates photos and over exposes images in the back ground, even after the latest update there is no improvement and day to day its actually annoying. Photos in low light have far too much noise are smudgy and look really bad, theres no way around it, no matter what you do the photos are not impressive. 1080p and 4k Video is good in daylight with good stablelization but 8k is a different story, again focus hinting, artifacts and when zooming all these problems get worse. The camera quality produces some of the worst images ive ever seen on a smartphone.
despite all the hype I cannot recommend this phone because its not that good.
Best phone i had – Amazing night shots and if you want to have a phone that works as a camera, then buy s21 ultra. I always win against my friends and family who has latest iphones. We compare our pics and they end up wanting to use my photos to be posted on social media. Show details

Know better, choose better.
Has to be a joke, really, a flagship phone? – Firstly this looks damn good, a quality phone in lovely deep black with a good sized screen. After using it for a month a few things begin to show, the flagship has a leak. The battery capacity on the ultra 5g 256 is pathetic requiring 2 or more charges per day. This, compared to my failing battery s9, is ridiculous to say the least. The missing… Read more
3.5 socket for earphones and audio accessories is a joke ... has to be. No-one I know goes for any excersize with Bluetooth earbuds, they just plain fall out and disappear, we all have different ear canal shapes. The Bluetooth volume when using your magic earbuds is pathetic to say the very best, what did you do to the audio system amplifier and drivers? Those earbuds .... magic obviously, touch and lose connection when adjusting position. The price of over $300 is really over the top. No charger, this is a plain money grab by whoever retails this phone. The story I was told by helstra shop was that I HAD to use a you beaut charger and that my other chargers or battery power source would damage the battery..... this is simply not true in the slightest. The cable supplied is usb c on both ends, this is a mistake surely and I find laughable. Speed of operation, ie video performance is not noticeable as an improvement but the increasing temperature of the device as you continue to use it is, and then it shuts down. Game play is as my s9, no noticeable differences at all in speed or graphics but your battery disappears real quick. Camera performance should be better and I am sure it must be considering there are 3 of them in the device but I fail to see a significant improvement. This flagship fails again with the screen coating that collects scratches by the hundred no matter what you do. Is this glass or ? Really Samsung, with an Android operating system this thing should rock, but it doesn't. Costly device, costly charger and costly earbuds with no 3.5 socket and finally, no sd card slot for all those video shots with those cameras. That was again a big losing move. I feel totally ripped off by this thing and it's hype. A true lemon.
No Charger Comes With Phone – I purchased the Samsung S21 the issue I have is the phone is expensive and also you have to buy a charger or if you have one of the old samsung, you are advised to use the old charger... what the purpose of buying a new phone and you have to buy a charger .....Keep away from the S21 I was not able to charge the phone until I had to go out and buy… Read more
a new charger ...what a waste of monty , they give you a cord with both ends that fit the phone it will not fit in your usb port.
Samsung is Scamsung – bought an S21Ultra, breaks down within 10 days. brought to the store, the staff says exchange and refund takes 3 weeks. It is a brand new phone and it only lasted 10 days. Iphone gives you exchange on the spot!!! now it is still being repaired and i am waiting for 22 days now. Samsung customer service says it takes AustraliaPost 14 days to ship to them. i do not believe a single word Samsung says right now. Show details
Do Not Buy The Exynos Version, its not good – The S21 Ultra in Australia comes with the Exynos 2100 chip and its Terrible. Exynos 2100 runs slow!! and throttles resulting in lower performance under sustained loads has poor battery life and runs hot, very hot, 68 degrees celsius on average which causes alot of problems and its all because Samsung use Inferior Exynos Chips. The camera has… Read more
poor quality, photos have alot of noise, struggle's to focus, zoom and night shots are full of noise, video quality is average during the daytime but in low light its terrible, and the 100X zoom is worthless. Very!! dis satisfied with the S21 Ultra camera quality, phones older than 5 years take better quality photos and video.
Apps run smoothly but due to phone getting very hot there are issues. Overall The S21 ultra is a disappointing phone with many problems obviously caused by the inferior Exynos Chip Samsung continue to use. , The S21 ultra Exynos version is overpriced! considering there are better phones on the market for less.
Because the Snapdragon Version is not availabe in Australia I now own a Huawei P40 Pro 8GB Ram 256GB Dual Sim purchased for $1189 on ShopBot Au website and compared to Samsungs S21 the P40 Pro is a better phone in all regards and without a doubt the best camera on any phone and Emui 11 is awesome.
If anyone is considering buying the S21 Ultra then the Snapdragon 888 Version is the one to buy.
Fortuantly i was able to return the S21 Ultra 256 Exynos 2100 version for a full refund due to the problems, but buyer Beware!!!, the S21 Ultra Exynos version is not a good phone and you may regret wasting your money on an inferior phone.
Another bad phone from samsung – where to start? The S21 Ultra is to be honest a rip off, $1849, its overpriced, the cameras are to be honest mid range, zoom quality is terrible, there are focus issues, there isnt any improvement at all, the same specs from previous samsung phones, 108MP, 10MP (Telephoto) 12MP (Ultra Wide) and the unusable 100X spacezoom, again nothing new ,… Read more
image quality is nothing new, the display is a 3200 x 1440 Amoled 2X Infinity O Display Has Samsungs inferior Processor the Exynos 2100, No Snapdragon, Exynos is a horrible processor but thats what you get here in Australia and you still pay more for it, and the phone runs hot. The battery is a 5,000mAh, you'll get a full day out of it before recharging. The sound quality from the speaker is again ok, nothing great but loud enough.
Im not gonna go on about this phone but basically its a copy and paste phone thats just bad. samsung phone have become overpriced same ol same olds, overhyped by those paid to review it.
I knew better but I purchased it i used it i returned it for a full refund. and i will avoid samsung in the future they offer nothing new, their phones get worse.
phones from 2019 are better value and just overall better phones midrange phones from 2020 are better than the S21 ultra.
I instead purchased the Huawei Mate 40 Pro which wasnt cheap but boy its a better phone in every regard than the S21 ultra and proof Huawei make very good phones.
Seriously dont waste your money on the S21 ultra, or even the S21 thats the best advice i can give, its not worth $200. its not worth buying.
