Never getting another Samsung phone – You pay nearly 2000$ for a phone so that it can last long. But Samsung wow, after just 2.5 years the phone is absolutely unusable, after the latest update they just crap out the battery, My phone is in the best physical condition as possible but since last 2 3 updates the battery does not even last 4 5 hours even with the battery saver mode. need to charge every 4 hrs. And when you raise this with them they will offer you to give 10% discount on another $2600, lol. Not falling for it again.

The best phone I have ever had – this is the best phone i have ever had. sure i had to spend a lot of money but if you can afford it you will not be disappointed. amazing screen, great battery life, etc. don't understand the negative reviews here, i cannot recommend this phone highly enough Show details
Incredible phone/camera – Two of us (both male) bought S21 ultras 5G 256Mb phones last January. These were upgrades from Samsung S9 pluses. The transition & data transfers were just so easy & secure, no passwords were copied in the process. Neither of us are real mobile phone users, in fact making or receiving calls is rare & more business related than friends. We do… Read more
though use our phones for social media, emails (as well as on computers) but we do take a lot of photos, especially when on holidays. I play the occasional game but resist to conserve battery life, which is actually excellent. These phones are quick on startup (they are switched off at night), a good size albeit needing large pockets, but not that heavy. The screen size is ideal & the clear-view Samsung cover really great, it never marks & easily wipes clean. What is absolutely fantastic though is the camera & its ability to take incredible photos with a zoom up to X100 - amazing (see images). The image of the moon taken a week back was at X40. These Samsung phones just keep getting better so what really can be improved? We are so happy & would recommend them despite the cost, there is no better - go for it!
Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G - Does not come with charger! – Curiosity got the better of me at JB HiFi today! Saw the Galaxy S21 Ultra 5g mobiles sitting there on the shelf and could not resist the temptation given they were on sale, Samsung's "flagship phone"! Saved heaps on their black Friday sale, so one would have been nuts not to give this phone a try with all Samsung's media hype and fanfare! Quite… Read more
surprised Samsung's Galaxy S21 Ultra 5g "flagship phone" did not come with a charger or even a cord! Cannot find an SD card slot anywheres?
The monkey glass on the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G gives the phone added durability too!
The Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G has 12gb of RAM too, has flash notification options so the phone flashes at you when one gets a call or message, also has great ear and speaker volume for calls, and is MADE IN VIETNAM, that's a bonus!
One DOES Love Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G's face recognition and fingerprint sign in, however must still enter pin via keyboard after rebooting.
Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G's camera is great, and have posted day/night feeding time pic's to give you an idea. Great videos up to 8K. 100 x zoom gives blurry images and anything over 10x loses clarity. DAYLIGHT HDR photos are great and can be in the range of 40mb Per pic, so the large internal memory is justified.
One posts these Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G PHONE FEATURES for your information.

ONE MAJOR DRAWBACK with Samsung is their Technical support. All overseas, and you can hardly hear them, and they are not exactly concerned about fixing this.
Will update this review in time.

Great Phone – The quality of the camera is second to none. The display options are easy to find My phone is my diary and my camera, it's part of my every day activities Show details
Great Phone, Battery could be better – I'll start by saying I am coming from using the Samsung S9+. The S21 Ultra is a beast of a phone. The sheer size of the device is great for someone like myself with big hands. The screen pops with colour and the 120hz refresh rate is magic. Smooth scrolling all day. Before purchasing the phone I saw alot of mixed reviews on the quality of the… Read more
camera. I have found the camera to be quite good, I can't really fault it. It has taken some amazing shots of my family. The colour is accurate, the shutter speed is good. The videos taken are also of a high quality with great smoothness sharpness.
The phone is fast and functions as you would expect the next generation of phone to. The only missing feature is the headphone jack but that is something not all of us require.
My only criticism would be the battery and this is very minor. I feel the phone should last a little longer. I am managing to get a full day out of it with some percentage left over, however depending on your reception and use, the battery life can vary quite a bit.
All in all the phone is great and I have no major gripes with it. If you want a big phone, sharp screen, top quality camera and generally all round top level phone, then the S21 Ultra is the phone for you.
One of the best phones I've owned – The quality of the pictures taken with the camera is fantastic. It has many features to enhance your shot but I have found that it's rare to use them due to the quality of the first shot no matter where or what time of day. Screenshots are also of great quality. As for the other features of the Samsung S21 Ultra 5G, I have the best experience… Read more
with everything that it has to offer. Smooth running of all apps, from the occasional game to meditation and you tube viewing. Even the feel of the screen is amazing. The display is crystal clear with options for any adjustment to brightness and backlighting, which has the auto option. Best Samsung phone by far.

DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY – Talking text to speech does not work.. it never has worked and clearly Samsung will never address this. The T9 keypad doesn't work.. it never has worked.. and clearly it never will work. I've been complaining for the last two years about these two specific things but Samsung staff don't even know what a T9 keyboard is, and how it even works. … Read more
T9 doesn't work with anything on Google. Talking to your staff about this made me realize they don't know what a T9 keypad does and how it even operates. How stupid and lazy can Samsung management remain??? because you are not educating your staff... which makes Samsung look absolutely STUPID !!!!
So what friggin hope does anyone have if the useless staff have no idea. ?? NONE. !!!
You useless Bunch of absolute money grabbing, uneducated morons at Samsung .!!! Why are you not fixing the T9 keypad and the voice to text. Voice to text continues to drop out mid sentence every few words. This is going on for 2 years..
The last time I wrote a review with so much detai about these exact two problems, a Samsung staff member responded with., ' is there anything else I can help you with'... instead of trying to address these problems which I took the time to write. I believe it's still on my last review.. Evidence again, of how useless you lot are at Samsung... just as useless as this phone!!!???!
2 years of complaining about these two problems specifically, and I have received two years of nothing but frustration and ignorance from Samsung and staff. I say to people, don't bother with Samsung Galaxy phones as the software brings nothing but frustration

Horribly inaccurate keyboard – This phone has a horribly inaccurate keyboard. Coming from Sony it's a real shock how bad this phone is to type on. Even typing this message took several attempts. Just a terrible user experience.

2nd purchase from Mobile Federation, highly recommended – Love my Samsung s21 ultra, it's like new. Reasonably priced, everything works well, can't fault it. This is my 2nd purchase from this company, yes reliable, straight forward service. Show reply
This is still one of the best – This phone although a bit long in the tooth is still one of Samsungs better performing phones. The cameras are brilliant and over its a very user friendly phone especially for those of us getting on in years. The quality is there being a phone that has stood the test of time and is totally reliable with most apps the display and settings easy to navigate as well Show details · 3

Galaxy s21 ultra 5g phone having lots of problems,it's only 6 months of use. It's my husbands phone – My husband is having alot of problems with the operation of his phone. Very slow downloading, videos on social media don't work, apps are very slow, auto updates are happening eventhough it's turned off. My husband has only had his phone 6 months. He's upset. Galaxy S21 ultra, Note 10 was a better phone – The phone is good, but I do find that it is overheating a lot. The phone is also prone to stalls and have issues with using multiple apps at once. I had a Note 10 before this phone and much more prefer the Note to the S21. Camera is good, but would much more prefer the Note that the S-series phones
Galaxy S21 Ultra – The Galaxy S21 Ultra is a really well equipped phone however when it comes to extended screen use the display is very prone to screen burn in. it will always be repaired under warranty but there is the few weeks where you are without the phone you're paying to use. Show details

Worst Phone and Service!! Stay away from Samsung Crap! – I have purchased a Samsung S21 Ultra mobile phone last year and after few months of using the phone its been constantly restarting itself at-least a minimum of 2-3 times every day and at one stage we couldn't even upgrade the SW on the phone. I took the phone to the Samsung service center for assessment and all they did was reload the SW on the… Read more
phone and gave it back to us. They never even looked at the cause of constant restarts. When I questioned about this the Supervisor from that service center advised us to register to Samsung Members app and email the logs to them via the app when the phone restarts. We have been doing this since Jan and sent the logs to Samsung support and they are yet to come back to us with any findings or resolution. We expected a better product and service from Samsung for which they call as a Flagship model but in reality it is an utter crap. Feeling really ripped off by Samsung... We never ever buy another Samsung product in our life!!
An expensive piece of garbage – An expensive piece of garbage falsely advertised as groundbreaking. It has 6 terrible cameras and a screen so fragile it breaks in your pocket. $500 to repair each time. Don't buy a Samsung. Show details
Worst mobile phone and service – Bought this phone for my wife as a present last year. After updating ofcourse got rid of the old phone. New s21 started over heating to a point of burning, then will shut itself until cool down. Reported to Samsung with 4 weeks of purchase. They wouldn’t replace it but we’re happy to have me sent to their repairers. But no replacement phone during… Read more
that time. The phone will over heat while have video conference, zoom meeting and video chats. Samsung rep told use computer for these Apps. What an answer for two thousand dollar device. It never happened on previously owned Samsung mobile phones. During covid JB HiFi would accept delivery by post. They were nice to give a different phone for use until s21 gets checked out. But the whole process will take days. Having no alternative device we carried on with same phone and thought once shops will open and things go back to normal will go to JB and return the phone for repair( on a brand new phone). Now I submitted to JB HiFi Moore park the phone as I borrowed an old device from a friend. I takes hours to transfer data , factory resets and all troubleshooting each an every time without any accountability. It’s been a week haven’t heard from JB and I called them today and was advised phone is still in the shop and hasn’t been sent. It feels like no one gives a s..t in these days to actually help when it comes to warranty. It’s run around as I have nothing else to do with my time. Life is stressful enough not to have add ons like this. I paid premium price for hoping to get premium product and service. Over past two years I upgraded kids devices , home entertainment systems, tv all Samsung, every single device have painful issues. No firmware upgrades through Samsung app, no cables provided for manual updates. Spent hours again with tech support went spent extra 100 to buy adapters and cables , things finally shaped until the next firmware update and here we go again…. Same drama , same issues… last night my son’s tablet just died. Not even two year old and only started using six months ago as it was a present and he had his old device working fine. if I was rich and had more money I would through all of them in rubbish and perhaps move to another brand and hopefully they will work smoothly. No one is taking responsibilities… looks like companies just focusing on cheap and rubbish products but any quality. Hopefully no one goes through these experiences. I would not recommend Samsung.
This phone is a wost of money. Am running away from samsung for good – I bought this item few weeks ago. The phone has good cameras and I like the quality of the images and that it's a 512g. The Wi-Fi keeps dropping same as the network not even 5g ,some time you have to move rooms to make a phone call. The battery life is even worse I wish I never bought it in the first place. I never had any issue with my previous phone oppo find x2 pro. Am running away from samsung for good now. Show details

Good phone great update from my s8 BUT – This phone has been great over the last year. Working as expected , battery lasting all day with normal use and some internet searching, emails etc. THAT IS UNTIL THE LAST 2 UPDATES. Now the battery is dead by 8 pm . No accessories? – I'm disappointed in samsung, they've jumped on the apple train, trying to gain as much money from consumers as possible. No head phone port, and yet the phone doesn't come with wireless headphones, you use to give us headphones =/. Gosh they don't even supply a charger with the phone, that is pathetic, what happens if you've never owned a samsung before? You guys use to be the best, it's sad to see what your company is turning into. Show details
Extremely disappointed – Samsung seems more obsessed with adding useless features than keeping quality attributes. Camera is fine, but if you want to actually use it as a phone it is a disaster. Capacitive screen is often unresponsive. Reception is waaaay worse than my old S10, needing wifi assist in places the S10 worked without issue and constantly dropping calls. Have… Read more

Worst Samsung galaxy released – Had this phone for 8 months and had to put up with no data signal anywhere I go, send it away to Samsung for inspection and repair and they say it has no problem. Dissatisfied – Before your spend the ludicrous amount of money on this phone research well and understand what you want from your phone. song to MP3 first, a frustrating clunky process but it can be done.
I hate the fact they have taken away the external SD card option too. The phone is that new (less than 24 hours old) I have not had an opportunity to trial the camera yet, I have high hopes for the remaining functionality of the phone.
I will say Samsung Smart switch perfectly replicated all my apps, layout, background etc as I had things arranged on my S10+. The only reason I bought the phone was the ever dwindling battery life on the S10+ and a microphone issue that made it difficult for people to listen to me during calls, the reason I mention this is if battery life is a weakness on phones like this then the battery on the S21 Ultra will probably be dodgy 12 months before the plan is paid out. Samsung had a large following largely because of external memory capacity and a wide range of file formats support 2 x things they've removed! I wont be purchasing another Samsung Phone after this if they don't fix these issues.
Gorilla glass ain't that great! – The phone was purchased in Feb 21 and already has - I've been told by a repair shop - a hairline crack in it. Unfortunately when I bought the phone (from Harvey Norman) I wasn't made aware that you could pay $199 which would entitle you to have the phone replaced for any reason. I missed out on this. I'm now realising that Samsung must offer… Read more
this for a reason. The phones aren't that durable!
I contacted Harvey Norman who didn't want to know me. Then Samsung who said there's no assessor near me so I'd have to wipe the phone and send it back for assessment. Really! After 6 months of use with, with a crack in the screen, it should be replaced with no questions.
I've always had Samsung phones. My last one was an S5 that had a rough life and trips overseas (remember those!). It barely had a scratch on the screen let alone a crack. The only reason I upgraded was the camera. I think the screen on the S21 series are not fit for purpose. My husband has an S10 and he's a tradie. Drops it all the time. No cover and barely a scratch.
On hands free people always say they can't hear me, or my voice is breaking up. That's been since day one.
The camera is great - if a little cumbersome to change the settings and the lenses make the phone heavy.
Overall I can't recommend the S21 Ultra - at $1400 I expect better durability.
20 November 21 - Since writing this review this phone was knocked out of my hand and the screen is now completely broken. I've been told it will cost upwards of $600 to replace. I'm really not sure what Samsung are doing but if the screens are not durable on their new phones they are not worth the money. If you are going to buy one you will need something like an OtterBox to protect it.
Sorry I bought it – Upgraded from an S8+ to an S21 ultra in theory. From my point of view if not for the outstanding camera this phone has nothing to offer. Screen had three large scratches and one little divot after three days of ownership, in contrast my s8+ screen is still perfect after three years of the same conditions. Not as quick as I'd hoped mainly because… Read more
of the useless crap preloaded on the phone. I don't want to use some of the fancy features if I have to constantly agree to software terms and conditions revealing my usage and habits to third parties.
Worst phone Samsung ever produced – Bulky phone with poor software, apps keeps shutting down frequently , have to restart atleast 4 times in a day , only camera is good but I didn't buy phone for a camera , my note 8 was far superior in quality and handling . The screen is incredibly soft on this device and screen protection impeeds the functionality. Hate this phone! – The material used to make the screen is incredibly soft although marketed as being the strongest ever screen materials. I have tried three different screen protectors, at the cost of around $150 and each of the impact the ability to use the phone. Samsung appear to be aware of this issue but don’t want to address it. phone feels like being on the original iPhone. Don’t purchase it, you will save money and avoid a lot of frustration.
Was expecting more – Firstly, I cannot complain about the overall function of the phone, it does what it's meant to do, call, text, take photos, and store apps. However, as it is a new generation I would expect past issues and mistakes to be resolved, the battery continues to burn through and there is now a missing socket for headphones that are not cordless.
