Samsung Galaxy Z Fold a terrible product – The Galaxy Z Fold is a terrible product that fails quickly. My phone started to have errors within 12 months of purchase and has completely failed within 18 months. Problems include: UBS connection ceasing to function to all devices, WIFI connection failing, double screen failing, and screen touch failing which means I can no longer access the… Read more
phone and it's content. The content I have lost (photos, messages, etc) is significant. My husband also has this device and it quickly failed with a huge black patch taking up most of the double screen. I can't imagine these functions being any better with new versions and I will never purchase another Z Fold again.
Faulty product, cheap and poor customer service – I bought a Samsung ZFlip 3 and 6 months after purchase the screen started breaking and pixels burnt. At that time there was no damage to the device cause by me. the condition got worse and finally I could manage to take my phone for repair. Now, they say the damage to burnt pixels and screen is because of me. They offered me discounted service and… Read more
now this is what they sent to me "We are unable to fulfil this discounted repair offer because of part unavailability due to unforeseen vendor delays". I am not sure what this message means. I think they are not brave enough to say give us more money on the top $1450 you paid for your phone and even didnt last 6 months to fix a faulty product that we know is faulty. they neither return my money and my phone nor fix it. after almost 4 weeks, nothing has happened for my phone.

Terrible phone, terrible Samsung Care – Ive had the Samsung Fold for just over 12 months and it has been in for screen repair 3 times. This last time I told Samsung that I wanted a refund or different model replacement as the constant screen failure was unacceptable. Their response is to keep repairing it! The Fold is not fit for purpose! The screen is not up to constant opening and closing. Wont touch another Samsung phone moving forward. Show details
Formal Complaint Regarding Samsung Z-fold 3 Internal Folding Screen Issue – I must admit that my recent experience with Samsung has left me feeling deeply disappointed and frustrated. On 09/09/2021, I purchased a Samsung Z-fold 3 with high hopes for its durability and innovation, particularly given its internal folding screen design. Unfortunately, my optimism quickly turned into dismay when the internal folding screen… Read more
of the phone cracked down the middle, rendering the right side display completely inoperative. It is important for me to stress that I have always taken great care of the phone and have never subjected it to any physical damage or misuse that could have caused such a failure.
In light of this issue, I sought to have my phone repaired under warranty and visited the Werribee Plaza Samsung store, where I was met by a helpful Manager named SAM. He assured me that the phone would be diagnosed by the technicians and that, if repairable, it would be fixed within a reasonable time frame of around 3 hours. However, my troubles began when I explained that I did not have a spare phone and Samsung does not provide loan phones, leaving me solely dependent on my current device for communication.
Throughout the day, I visited the store multiple times for updates, but each time, I was informed that the technicians were still in the process of diagnosing the issue. My frustration escalated when, upon returning to the store at 5 pm, I was given a different story. The team member stated that I needed to call the call centre to inquire about the specific issue with the phone, as they apparently did not have direct communication with the in-store technicians who conducted the diagnosis. This lack of coordination and communication within Samsung's service network added to my mounting dissatisfaction.
To compound my distress, after escalating the matter, the Manager informed me that he would cancel the repair job and return my phone, citing concerns that the LCD had been broken either by someone within the store or by the technicians themselves during the handover process. Shockingly, upon requesting to see my phone, I was presented with an internal LCD that was completely shattered. I refused to accept this damage, as it was evident that the breakage had occurred during Samsung's handling.
This entire ordeal has led me to believe that Samsung is more interested in avoiding responsibility by shifting the blame onto customers, rather than acknowledging potential manufacturing or design flaws. It is disheartening to feel like a secondary concern to the company's profit-driven motives, especially after investing in one of Samsung's flagship products.
Furthermore, my interactions with Samsung's customer service have been far from satisfactory. Instead of empathizing with my situation and offering a reasonable resolution, I received a text message at 7:23 pm, presenting a repair quote of $820 and requesting an assessment fee of $66. This is particularly distressing considering that the job had already been cancelled by the Manager at the store, who acknowledged the potential mishandling of my device.
I cannot help but feel that Samsung is failing to prioritize customer satisfaction and product reliability. Reports of software updates causing issues for other users only serve to reinforce my concerns about the company's approach to quality control.
As a once-loyal Samsung customer, this experience has profoundly shattered my trust in the brand. I had previously praised Samsung products and recommended them to friends and family, but I can no longer do so in good conscience.
I urge Samsung to reconsider its position and honour the repair of my phone under warranty. The evidence clearly indicates that the issue is not due to any negligence or damage on my part. As a valued customer, I deserve a fair and reasonable resolution to this matter. If necessary, I am prepared to explore legal avenues to protect my consumer rights.
I sincerely hope that Samsung will take this complaint seriously and work diligently to restore my faith in the brand. I also request that steps be taken to improve customer service, foster better coordination within the service network, and adopt a more transparent and ethical approach to handling warranty claims and product issues in the future.
Thank you for your attention to this matter. I anticipate a timely and satisfactory resolution to the situation. Please feel free to contact me at [0422666158] or [epuneetchadha01@gmail.com] if you require any additional information.

Waste of money, don't buy it! – Internal folding screen cracked down the middle and the display failed No waranty due to an apparent invisible mark on the outside of it, I couldn't find anything. Samsung use any excuse not to provide warranty. Its all about money, they don't care about the customer. There is no customer service! I have reviewed this phone before, I'm just trying… Read more
to help people make the right decision. Lets face it, anything you bend an fold many times is never going to last, it will always crack and fail. I was a fan but now I will never buy Samsung ever again. See pics attached, Repair comany report and phone pics. I can't see dents or scratches that would cause a screen to crack and fail like that.
NOTE, Officeworks were very helpful, Samsung wasn't at all.
Further to the above... See attached pictures of a conversation with a Samsung Mediator, I added more pictures and requested for them to indicate the damage that I have done that would cause the front screen to crack, I didn't receive a answer of course, because there isn't any. Now I see on TV that Samsung are screwing every ones phones with an update that doesn't work. Maybe now they will find out how the little people like me feel.
Please people don't get caught out getting a Fold or Flip, it won't last unless you carry it around in bubble wrap 24/7 and don't open it.
