which is difficult to clear the water from and impossible to reach to the rear of to clean by hand. A great deal of improvisation is required to clean this area. The vegetable drawers and the clip in door shelves are made in two parts which is a germ trap - not what you want from a fridge. There are ways to separate the parts with screwdrivers but since they are part plexi-glass it is almost impossible not to break them in the process. It's just far too much effort to clean thoroughly. Won't be buying another Samsung fridge or washing machine given that a simple second Samsung fridge doesn't work well either, neither does an 11kg washing machine. They need to stick to phones and computers which they do well.

Great Fridge! So much room and versatility! – Great fridge, so much room. Love that there's so many way to rearrange the shelves to fit the most in and that they are glass, so hygienic. fault that has since been fixed across the board. We contacted Samsung and were concerned due to the expiry of the warranty period. However Samsung immediately arranged a service and replaced the faulty part. This is in line with the high level of customer service we have previously experienced from Samsung. Samsung is a scam company - please do not trust – SAMSUNG do not provide any after sales service. Customer service is appalling. PLEASE AVOID and DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY. We were ripped off. They did not replace our fridge which was deemed faulty by the technician. They promised us a refund but did not follow through. Show details

Great product but rusting doors and poor or no customer service – Rusting door after 5 years and samsung washed their hands. Not good enough. You should get more than 5 years before you have to replace the product. I've still hot a 25 year old kelvinator with no problems  Show details

Terrible fridge. They should have laws to hold companies to account when they deliver products like this – Had this model since late 2015. Had it repaired multiple times because fan would stop working, ices up every few months and needs to be defrosted, shelves all cracked with little weight in them and had to be replaced, fridge door corroded and ice maker labels have come off. Ice Maker has issues in this model – I have bought two of these fridges (within 2 years of each other) and both icemakers have done the same thing. Expecting a lot better for the price I paid!! – My fridge is about 3.5 years old. Even though I am not a Samsung fan, I liked the design and the capacity aspects (which was a major factor in buying this fridge). Recently, the fridge has started making a rattling noise - like a truck with its engines idling (due to ice build up in the fridge compartment and fan hitting the buildup).

It has been fixed recently but the problem has started in less than 3 weeks time. It has been booked for service again.

I am happy with Samsung support though. They are still repairing it out of the 2 year warranty period. It is just inconvenient.

I don’t think I will be buying a Samsung fridge again.

Great size, but Water flow is still slow after numerous service people – We love the Ice Maker and the size of the fridge, but the water flow is slow and has been checked by numerous service people. Great Fridge – This has been a great fridge. No problems whatsoever. It maintains the temperature. Its very quiet apart from when the ice is dispensing. Very easy to wipe down. I love the secondary compartment for the fridge. Our 5yr old can easily access this draw to get her own snacks and drinks.  Show details

Great fridge with one fatal flaw – Had it just over 2 years now since moving to our new place. Does everything it promises. It's quiet and easy to clean. This is much more convenient than having to open both doors.

** However, it does have one fatal flaw related to the ice maker! We have noticed 3 or 4 times now that after dispensing a large amount of ice at once, either filling up a bowl or an ice bucket or lots of kids filling up glasses of ice, the cooling function of the fridge completely stops, both the fridge and freezer. Not ideal to say the least. But the worst thing of all is that the front display panel indicates that everything is fine. The temperature indicators show the temperature being normal (Freezer -23C and Fridge +4C in our case) and the lights still come on but there is no cooling happening whatsoever.

The first time this happened, on one of the hottest days of last summer, we had just filled up a large bowl with ice and a little later noticed there was drops of water below the ice / water dispenser. I thought this was just left over drips from earlier and sponged it up and forgot about it. We didn't notice that things were starting to defrost until 24 hours later and then it was too late. We had to throw out all the frozen items and anything that really needed to be kept cool like milk. We turned the fridge off at the wall then turned it on and then it began working normally again. This has happened 3 or 4 times since then and we know now that if we see drips of water under the ice dispenser then the same thing has happened again and we need to turn it off and on again.

It happened again yesterday when we had a family gathering and the kids all wanted ice with their drinks. I saw the tell tale water drips before we went to bed and I decided to test it once and for all and leave it overnight and sure enough in the morning the drip tray had water in it and there was a small puddle on the floor. Frozen items in the fridge had just started to soften. The front panel still showed normal operating temperature. I turned it on and off again. The front panel then showed Freezer +3C and Fridge +10C! Within an hour it was back to normal.

I've called the Samsung premium service line today and they are arranging for a service call. Given the other experiences on here I don't hold out much hope for an easy resolution.

Great fridge! – Have owned this fridge now for just over 12 months and it has not skipped a beat. It is BIG and the space in the upper compartment is useable. drawer is a bit of an adjustment after having a normal upright style freezer but it is actually really handy to keep our toddler out as he can't do the lift and pull action required to open it. Love having the sparkling water on tap as well as regular water though I do think the regular water could probably be chilled a little more than it is.

This is a big quality fridge that looks good and does an excellent job of keeping contents at a perfect temp.

side of door. They gave me extra shelves which i thought was generous until a month later when the shelves cracked again. Very poor & cheap shelving design - especially for the price you pay. If you remove all the shelving from the door it isn;t a family size fridge ... once you stand up items inside the main fridge (remember ... you can't use the shelves on door!) Very disappointed. 2 Years Old...and broken down twice at a critical time – So we have had a similar experience to the other lady. were fully stocked in anticipation of a big celebration. On Christmas eve the whole fridge has stopped working. The ice machine was spewing water everywhere and everything was either completed defrosted or warm - all food binned. We had no idea as we had been out celebrating Christmas with our family. We rang Samsung and clearly there is no one around to fix it on Christmas eve and there would be no-one for at least 4 days. So in desperation we have had to buy a box freezer and bar fridge as well as rely on an Eski and ice. Ridiculous. It has been 4 days now without a fridge and a freezer, in 30 degree plus days. We lost all of our Christmas food and it was a mad panic on Christmas eve to try replace everything to bring it all together. Samsung, I really hope you read this and help us out because I am not happy at this point in time.
