Dodgy from day one – The fridge had issues with freezing up and leaking water into the top shelf from day one. I was informed this was normal behaviour by Samsung. It finally stopped working after 5 years with the fridge not cooling whilst the freezer was working, so was not reliable. Again Samsung refused to provide support. Wouldn’t recommend a Samsung fridge. Show details

Don’t buy this please! Learn from me! – Was good at the start but after the 2nd and 3rd year mark it has started playing up. The freezer door seal is very weak and I’m assuming this is due to poor quality parts or manufacturing process. It’s not yet 4 years and we have to repair or get rid of this. Called Samsung and of course they are wiping their hands off it as it’s past 2 years. So… Read more

they only guarantee it until 2 years ... shows you their commitment to the product. I argued I didn’t even know it was magnets that kept the seal together... and how could I have affected the deterioration of a magnet’s efficacy? Call centre put me on hold for more than 45 minutes - and I gave up in the end which is probably what they wanted me to do. Samsung marketing and sales team- you spend so much money marketing your products and then this is how your product performs and your help centre treats us. Well I am happy to tell everyone I know and whomever who asks to stay away from your fridges. What a joke. Fridges average life span is 15 years; yours didn’t not even make it up 4.

Good for a couple – So this was our first fridge and as we wanted a small one, we bought this. In general it's a good one and I didn't have any issue with keeping food and other stuff fresh and cold, but if you want to buy stuff for a week then it's not easy to fit.  Show details

lasts 3 years only – It's obviously a cheap model but I expected it would work for at least 5 years - my mistake. October 2013 - August 2017 - less than 4 years. Before dying it's been making weird noises- you could've heard the sound of running water (but no water coming out) funny clicks and clacks and after about a week of such sounds the main compartment lost cold… Read more

at all, so the only top freezer was working. Had to buy a quick replacement. Stay away from cheap Samsung/LGs.

Seems Ok – Can't really complain nothing so far however have read about Samsung fridges catching fire, maybe that story was put out by their competitors - bought it from Harvey Norman and they miraculously did everything they said they would do, spot on actually. I agree the cleaning is an issue however I saw the unit and knew what I was getting. The freezer… Read more

is self defrosting and works fine. Maintains a good temperature haven't noticed any undue noise - yes I think I would recommend this unit or its replacement.

Good fridge, does what a fridge is meant to do. Freezer nice and cold – Bought this over a year ago. I am not sure if it is 'quiet' as the kitchen is not near sleep areas, sometimes it makes some noises but nothing too disturbing. It was a spare fridge. Don't like the glass shelves, but I knew it had these at purchase so its just personal preference (glass shelves tend to look dirty very fast). Glass shelves… Read more

are awful to clean, the plastic bit on edges, spills go under and near impossible to keep clean.

That is the reason for not giving 5 star. None of the plastic bits have broken, the ice tray gets a lot of use and freezes cubes fast.

The silver color is good quality and doesn't take a heap of effort to keep looking like new. Visitors still think i have a brand new fridge.

Overall nice and would buy another one if i needed a smaller fridge again.

Turns itself off – I got this fridge as a replacement from Harvey Norman. It's a great looking fridge, lots of space, sometimes a bit loud but when I got it I was happy. Then a bit over 24 hours later it turned itself off. It didn't trip the power, the light was off and it wasn't cooling. Left it plugged in overnight, didn't come back on. Unplugged it for a few… Read more

hours and when I plugged it back in it started to work - For less than three days. Harvey Norman sent a replacement and 2 days later it did the same thing.

Do not buy this fridge.

Ridiculously Quiet! – I bought this Samsung SR320MLS through Appliances Online who delivered it, with a smile, on a day that I nominated. The first thing that I noticed was how incredibly quiet it is. I thought it wasn't working at first because I couldn't hear anything! This fridge is astoundingly quiet, even at night. The sliding 'heavy items' shelf is great because… Read more

the fridge is deeper than usual. The cheese/deli tray also has a neat sliding/opening mechanism that makes storing your butter etc very simple. The crisper bin doesn't have a divider but I'm not fussed about that because it works well. It's a modest size fridge and would comfortably suit two people, but the freezer is on the small side thanks to the ice maker. My only gripe with this fridge is the bottle shelf doesn't have those plastic teeth that stabilize the bottles and therefore they wobble every time I open the fridge! I will find some solution for this because the glass bottles dinging might drive me mad. Otherwise, awesome little unit.

Just relegated my 6 month old fridge to the garage – This fridge was bought in May 2015. Arrived damaged, but was sold as "floor stock" so no claim allowed. I did love the large crisper, however found it difficult to reach and see items placed in back of the lower shelves. Very little room to store tall bottles. It did however fit nicely in the space. After installation we saw the very… Read more

noticeable lean backward on the front of the fridge. We attempted to adjust the front legs down, only to find they were already wound down as far as possible (and what's with one of the legs being under the door rather than the fridge itself?). So we had to live with the fridge looking like it was tilted back.

The SS exterior shows every hand mark and needs to be polished all the time to look clean.

About 6 weeks ago we began to notice an unpleasant odour every time the fridge door was opened. 3 times everything was removed and the fridge wiped down with bleach or vinegar and each time the odour returned. (one of the glass shelves actually shattered in my hands while I was removing it for cleaning) I placed trays of carb soda, charcoal and kitty litter in the fridge, tried every trick I could find on the internet. I found some instructions for cleaning the deodorising filter on the Samsung website, followed these but to no avail.

Eventually the odour was also noticeable from the freezer. I had checked the manual and found no instructions for locating or cleaning a drip tray which was my last hope. The fridge had to go. Turned off there was no smell. Luckily we had another small freezer to which we were able to transfer the contents of the Samsung freezer, but much of the food in the fridge was lost in the 3 days we waited for a new fridge to arrive.

Great buy – Easy to clean, this fridge is great value for money. It's a good size and the only noise is a feint gurgling that can only be heard when next to it. The compartments are a good size and well positioned and I like the couple of glass shelves rather than it all being plastic. Would definitely recommend for the price bracket.

Conflicted! – I purchased this fridge less than 2 months ago from Appliances Online. The delivery and customer service experience from Appliances Online was 5 star! They took the fridge up 2 flights of stairs and installed it in our apartment with amazing efficiency. Especially considering many companies delivery policies state that they won't deliver anything… Read more

up stairs.

-I have not found the fridge to be noisy

-Love the bright LED lighting

-The fridge shelves are really deep (which is good and bad - it can be hard to see what is back there)

-The crisper is HUGE (which is awesome)

-It is a 320L fridge that fits our kitchen cabinetry (also awesome)

The bad: The twist ice maker handle has just broken - this mechanism relies on a degree of force to operate it as you need to twist the ice trays with the handle to eject the ice cubes. I don't think plastic is up to this job and may be an ongoing issue as it would make sense that will only get weaker as it ages. I am going to call customer service tomorrow to see what can do to remedy this and will update my review with my experience.

Noisy 'buzzing' sound – We changed this fridge twice and it still had the same problem. It emits a high frequency buzzing noise coming from the compressor at the back of the fridge. Don't purchase this if you watch movies or sleep close to your kitchen. They advertise this as "Digital Inverter" technology which is supposed to be quieter, but it's far from it. Harvey Norman allowed us to change to a Mitsubishi which has been lovely and quiet.

Efficiency at it's best – The sole purpose for buying this fridge was for it's energy efficiency, which in turn has impacted on our electricity bill dramatically. Not only does it do the job required, it's quiet. Perfect for just the two of us, no hassles at all with it. Once again Samsung has continued to impress us.

Samsung SR320MLS – Fridge functions perfectly. Being a smaller fridge it is suitable for two people. Could be a little more clever with the shelving to save space as I find that the ice maker takes up quite a bit of room in the freezer and the bottom shelf on the door isn't wide enough to fit bottles. Overall keeps food fresh and cool, nice compact little fridge. Compact size, energy efficient and reliable Shelving wasn't optimum to make use of compact spacing

Noisy Fridge – I bought this fridge to replace my old Samsung and when i got it, It has a running motor most of the time and in the first month a whine has started, I have had a service call and they said it was the normal running noise of the fridge, I am seeing if I can get it replaced My old one didn't make any noise at all, wish I hadn't changed it for the newer, shiny one that has meant to have a better energy rating. See how I go Noisy

Soooo noisy – As far as fridges go, it's a good little fridge as long as you're kitchen is no where near your lounge room or bedroom. The compressor stays on along time and its very noisy, harvey Norman are changing mine for an LG model, maybe now I can sleep with my door open again. Does keep your things cold NOISY

Good, but! – The fidge is stainless steel, at a good price, energy efficient, with convenient shelves and is a good size for me. It has LED lighting. The only problem is that it does not tilt back far enough for the doors to close by themselves. You have to push them closed every time. Good size, quiet, energy efficient Fridge does not tilt back far enough for doors to close automatically. Show reply
