huge inconvience with little concern from Samsung! Never again! Fridge is stylish and worked well but Samsung let it all down!

Very good for two years, then – We love this fridge- it does everything we want, but... After two years the fridge (top) section would only cool to 12 degrees. Samsung have been good- after a week to-ing and fro-ing the have given us a store credit. We went back to Good Guys and bought the later model of the same fridge, because we really do like it. We also took out an additional 3 year warranty, so it's now 5 year. It's smaller than the 924 litre- just 719 litres, but still big enough for us.

The fridge is 5 months outside its 2 year warranty, so we can't complain about Samsung's replacing it, even though, by all that's right, you would really hope they would- 2 years out of a $4000 fridge is a tad sad.

Shelvings are cheap plastic, Sansung not interested to fix, saying that shelvings are consumable – 10 months after get the fridge, one next to the other all plastic shelvings get crecks. The crecks happens as they are big and made in cheap plastic. Sansung not give warranty as they consider shelvings a consumable part in their fridge. I replace them spending $ 430.00 now after six months the shelvings start to get crecks again. Sansun should recall fault products.

Never Again – Fridge stopped working after 6 years, of course out of warranty. Had 4 different repair men out to look at it, 2 sent from Samsung. In the end it started blowing fuses in the house so we turned it off. Samsung repair guy wouldn't come back to look at it till I payed them. that had been put in and left me with a shell of a fridge that now not even the freezer working. After lots of complain Samsung will give me $370. Back and take the fridge. Not enough to buy new one but after 12 months of fighting I'll be glad to see it gone!! NEVER AGAIN will I buy a Samsung!!

Get it Right! – I have this fridge - I brought it Jan 2014 and it was going wonderful until 2 months ago when I couldn't get any ice. Spoke to Samsung direct - sent out a repairman who did nothing as ice had miraculously come back after 5 days. He told me that temp has to be right for it to work. man. 2 weeks later no ice again rang Product Care who sent another repairman - he was very helpful and explained to me that the icemaker was broken and he would immediately put the report in. I then after a week rang product care for an update who informed me that they still hadn't received a report. I find this very hard to believe as I was there when he put the report thru to his office. They explained they it needed to be updated by their office before they receive it. She contacted them and a report was sent out to her. I again had to wait about a week before I contacted them again and was informed that the report had not been sent - I contacted the repair service myself and was told that they had sent the report but Samsung had contacted them and wanted a price for the icemaker sent to them as they would personally fix the problem. I am still waiting for something to happen. It is disgusting service and I as the consumer have had no ice for nearly 2 months for a fridge that sits there waiting to be replaced or fixed.

Would not recommend - ours broke after 7 months ! – We paid almost $5000 for one of these fridges. After only 7 months, it started leaking water on the floor. The fridge stopped working & we lost the entire contents of our fridge & freezer. I contacted Samsung & had to follow up several times to request compensation for the goods lost. told despite the massive size of this fridge & freezer, they are only wiling to contribute $200 towards the goods lost.

very big. Even with the doors off If you had average size doorway you won't get it int o your house. So far so good.

OK 4 years down the track and an update. I have to say Samsung have been fast and awesome about fixing the issues at no charge but there are a few things that have been frustrating. I have had the 2 left doors replaced as they rusted out. I am sure this is a result of the water dispenser / ice maker which leaks X2 replacements. The plastic door containers have cracked x2 replacements. seal on door torn and was replaced at 12 months no problems since. However in saying this when fixed it keeps vegetables fresh for a long time. The compartments in the freezer are so good to use and keep meats and fish and other frozen things organised. I still like the design and functionality of this fridge. It is easy to clean, quiet and most importantly my kids are drinking heaps more water!!! Through out the issues the fridge has continued to work in terms of keeping things frozen and cold just some annoying niggles. Could also be part of buying the first generation of these style of fridges. The repairer said they have sorted the problems I have had on the newer Samsung fridges.

deep drawer type freezer. I find the door shelves in the lower section a little skinny, but will fit 4 standard 375ml bottles in each level (3 in total on each bottom side). The door shelves on the upper french door section are very roomy and you can fit plenty of 3L milk, juice etc. The fridge is very large, especially in depth/height, so need to make sure you have the space to fit it. Very happy with our purchase.
