What an absolute Gem of a fridge.
It looks really terrific - it is very spacious - and the subdued cinema style lighting when the doors are open - makes it look very classy. The Ice Maker works perfectly. With the energy efficient ECO Mode switched on this fridge is also a very economical appliance.
Purchased in March 2021.
Great points -
Huge vegetables drawer which seems to keep vegetables longer than usual.
Seems to have more space than other brand same size refrigerators.
Not so great points -
Left door can be a pain....

Excellent fridge with wow factor
Purchased this online with appliances online who were excellent and delivered the next day. Delivery guys were excellent also and new fridge was installed and old fridge gone efficiently and safely.
Wow! What is not to love about this fridge. It gets better inside, pull out the drawer for cheese and small goods on a platter and same for cold meat storage below. There is plenty of room inside the main compartment and the veg drawer and freezer are huge. How good is the auto ice maker with water fill in the fridge! The control panel on the glass ...

Fantastic Fridge - Fruit & Veg Storage Abounds
I bought this fridge about 6 months ago and it's been a pleasure to use. The main attraction was the huge vegetable drawer, which has kept everything fresh and I never freezes vegetables, which was a constant issue with my last fridge. I had been leaning towards the larger 710L model but the veg drawer won me over. The freezer is usable, split into two compartments like most freezer drawers and the auto-icemaker works flawlessly. I appreciate not having to deal with plumbing and having easy to clean components. The main fridge compartment is ample and well laid out, with a separate space for meat to be kept at a lower temperature.
It's been very quiet and looks smart in the kitchen. I would highly recommend this one!

Expensive Product with serious and known defect
I have two of these fridges. The first one bought in 2017 for my main home and as I liked it so much, I decided to buy one for the holiday home in October 2020. As you will see from other reviews, the left door has a significant defect that simply makes the fridge unusable by anyone who doesn't know what to do to compensate for it. This means permanent damage to the fridge is a high risk and it is also very possible that the user doesn't realise that it hasn't properly closed and you cause the loss of cold air in the fridge as a result. Whi...lst the problem may seem minor, it is actually a major defect as an important part of a fridge is its seal. I would not buy one unless you can get the display unit and you have tested the door several times. 2 months later and I still have the problem after multiple calls and visits to Harvey Norman and their contact to Mitsubishi. A service person is coming tomorrow but he said it is likely he'll have to order a part and that may be a few months....in the meantime, I hope someone doesn't break it. On another note, it is a bulky fridge so you would need plenty of room for it if you still think it is worth buying.

Best fridge ever
Purchased this fridge about 2 months ago which has a great set up. I love the vege draw which keeps everything really fresh and in easy reach. The fridge is about the same size as my old one, but I seem to have so much more room. My old fridge had a ice and water dispenser, which we had to have repaired several times over the years (a 23 year old JennAir fridge). I love the ice dispenser in this fridge and hope it continues to work over the years. I was concerned about the black exterior, but it doesn't get fingers prints on the front at all. We paid $4000 for our JennAir fridge 23 years ago and think this Mitsubishi is a steal.

Since the day it was delivered, the left had door does not shut unless i manually shut the plastic flap. I bought this fridge after reading raving reviews on this website. However, the door issue is a real pain. I am shocked that a company of such repute has allowed a defective product to be sold in the market. I now noticed someone else had the same issue as well. We are expecting a technician to fix that next week. Let's see how it goes. Will keep you all updated.
Update: the company attended to the door issue promptly. It has now been 3 mont...
Unfortunately, all Mitsubishi fridges with the vegetable draw have an engineering mistake. the fridge on the top doesn't let enough coolness to go through to the vegetable draw. Their engineers or their mechanics can fix this problem by making a whole betwine the top fridge and the vegetable draw. I invite them to do that on my fridge as a guinea pig. I know it's gonna work.

warm vegetable drawer
Last month I purchased (AUD$3k) a Mitsubishi MR-LX630EM-GBK-A2 refrigerator-freezer with the french doors at the top. I was after a large vegetable drawer, and I was also impressed by the good advertised energy rating. However, the operating instructions reveal that one cannot adjust the temperature of the vegetable compartment, which has its own separate door/drawer to the fridge above.
The manual notes that this compartment will be kept at approximately 3 to 9 degrees. Well, it operates at the mid-to-upper end, and my vegetables wilt in a ...
Perfect! Every possible latest feature is included in this mitsubishi refrigerator.
The BEST refrigerator we've had! Same size as old fridge but there is so much more room.
Easy access to everything with 2 extra Chill Drawers, separate huge vegetable/crisper drawer.
The bottom drawer is a massive freezer drawer which includes non plumbed automatic ice cube maker,
top sliding shelf and deep space below for frozen meat/vegetables/meals/ice cream etc.
The front touch panel controls everything including temperatures for each section of the fridge.
It is super cold and efficient.
The Black Glossy Glass doors are stunning - really modern and easy to wipe clean.
The generous 5 year warranty covers both Parts & Labor and 10 year on the Compressor.
So many great innovative features.
Absolutely love it. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Keep the food nice and fresh for longer time. The ice making section is very convenient. The computer display on the door is handy and state of the art. The size of the fridge is enough for us.

WOW what a beauty!
The Size (for our needs) A+
The Functions (cheese and meat) A+
The family couldn't be happier day after day.
To have the fruit and veg SO easily accessible for the kids without opening the fridge is a great idea.
To have the tray for iceblocks at the top of the freezer, so easy to access. Kids love it.
They also love the iceblock maker
To have a glass front YAY! We found a better way to have the kids' art and photos
I love the egg tray having more than a dozen. The meat tray is super cold, holding the contents just above freez...

This Fridge actually works very well and holds temperature very well, the seperate Veg crisper is a good idea
The old fridge compressor died (SMEG) and never really worked well from new, didn’t hold temperature). So after much investigation I decided to buy the Mitsubishi. I ran a few tests after having it delivered and it actually performs as specified. I checked and measured the temperatures in all compartments though different ranges and it does exactly what it is designed to do as per the handbook.
The separate vegetable crisper drawer is a great idea and works better than any other crisper so far very happy with that idea and it is a shame the bi...gger Mitsubishi fridge doesn’t have the same design. Ice maker works well and is in fact better than the old fridge which had a dispenser and was always having problems. The Mitsubishi makes ice for you but you automatically but you need to put water in a container in the fridge which is connected to the freezer. Only problem for me is that a few issues with the overall finish, the feet covers don't fit neatly and squarely on the front mountings (and it is not the wall in fact this makes it look better holding it in place) and the French doors do not align. See photos below.... Mitsubishi - QC needs to be improved at manufacture time.

Perfect Fridge with the right Depth
We are a family of 4 and having an LG 550L fridge. We needed one more and finally opted for this one from Harvey Norman. My original choice was the 710L - same model carrying the same price. It was out of stock. then I opted for this 630L. It turned out to be a brilliant decision because the depth of this fridge was 73.5 and my door from a practical sense was only 74 ( after discounting for the door handle ). This fridge looks classy in the room and pretty pleased the way it turned out for us. The french Door does not close by itself - the alarm will alert if the door is not well closed. Day 1 all okay

My wife and I spent a good 2 months looking for the perfect fridge to compliment our new kitchen and we settled on the glass fronted Mitsubishi French door fridge. There is heaps of space inside, it has an ice making machine that does not need to be plumbed in, is easy to clean and doesn't dent. The crisper is great and I love the draws. The only issue I have is that it is easy to leave a door open, it would be good if there was an auto door function for the last few centimetres...the alarm does warm you of an open door but it would better i...f the door closed automatically. The door is a low profile door so fits into the space well and is easy to open. The fridge also maintains its temperature well...although ice does take a little longer to be available than our previous fridge.

We looked at a number of fridges and reviews for each. We decided against the door mounted ice and water and found this fridge has a great ice making option. It's easy to use and quiet. There is plenty of space inside and good shelf options. We love the crisper draw and large freezer draw. It's not as deep as some that we looked at so it doesn't stick out into the room as far as other would have. Happy to recommend.

No sucker punch here
It is not often you buy an electrical item were you don't find something you dislike when you get it home. i can honestly say that we cannot fault this fridge. we bought it as it was supposed to be the most reliable, time will tell this, but i can say it's functionality is great, good light when you open it, alarm on the door. my wife loves the crisper draw, as we tend to have a lot of veggies. the doors feel a little light but full they feel fine. i particularly like the ice maker! no plumbing but you still get approx 1 ltr of ice automatically and the ice make does not take up additional room like other. Top marks Mitsubishi. the fridge is also very quite compared to the Whirlpool we had.

Beware Poor quality plastic and no backup when plastic breaks
Purchased this product 18 months ago. Worked well but the plastic is poor quality. The milk holder broke in October and we are still waiting for replacement part. After being told it will be dispatched the next day in November we are still waiting for the part. Latest is is it on back order maybe March. Now the plastic draw in the freezer has cracked. For the price I would expect better quality and better customer service.

We’ve had this fridge for a little while now, and are extremely pleased with the purchase... It is so quiet you’ve actually got to put your ear up to the fridge to hear it, I thought we’d bought a dud originally.. Non-plumbed ice-make works a treat, fantastic... Easy to use, easy to keep clean and very stable temperatures... Can’t praise it enough.. If you’re in the market for a very good product, look no further........

Don't be fooled by gadgets and chrome trims
It all started with our old Maytag twin door 800l fridge losing the battle against old age after 15 years. So we had to find a new fridge started on web looking for honest reviews which are hard to find. The obvious choices Samsung, LG as they seem to fill the stores and offer great discounts. We wanted a reliable fridge maybe losing some features. Then we found the Mitsubshi, it lacked the ice and water through the door like our old Maytag but I can tell you that is the first thing that will fail. Mitsubishi new that so they dropped that featu...re from their line...braves move, smart boys. The ice maker on this model is on the inside, it has a compartment that you fill like the washer bottle in your car. Maybe an optional plumbed line would be a nice trouble free feature improvement here. The fridge is beautifully built glass front over a painted surface, looks great and should be very durable, finger marks don't show on our silver model. Fridge runs almost silent and the compressor on this fridge is made by Mitsubshi the master of refrigeration having owned several AC units from different manufacturers over many years Mitsubishi are the leaders by far. Do your home work, the other manufactures only over 1-2 years on their fridges Mitsubishi offer 5 years on their entire fridge, now that's tells you something...they believe in their product and stand behind it for 5 years, and 10 years on the the compressor. This fridge doesn't have funky door in door ...please really why more trouble, or water and ice through the door more trouble. If you like the strong good looking silent type this the fridge. I will update this review in 1-2 years of ownership, but I have no doubt my opinion won't change.
Questions & Answers
What are the details of the issue reported with the LH door?
Is it manageable?
The left hand door issue is real and it is manageable. It must be opened from the bottom otherwise the “seal flap” stays open and the door will not close properly. If this happens a lot it will loosen the spring mechanism and the flap will stay open. When someone opens it improperly (which is inevitable) I close it and apply some pressure on it. So far so good and we love this fridge!
Exactly as Mark and Sam said. It is not a major issue. In fact, It hasn't happened again after posting my review.
I would have asked the company directly
