Kia ora, iv had my fridge for a number of years now and its been a dream...but today the fridge stopped working???.. the settlings r ok but its not getting cold.....help please!!!!!!

This could be the same issue I had with mine. There was a part that regulates the temperature to the fridge from the freezer which broke and needed to be replaced. Is your freezer still cold?

Hi our fridge has three vents in the middle the top one is not blowing cold air anymore does anyone know they is it an easy fix ? Thanks

This sounds like the issue I had with my one. Required a technician and replacement part. From memory it was an internal flap or door which opens and closes and regulates cool air from the freezer to the fridge. Samsung fixed mine out of warranty under ACL regulations.

Ive had this fridge freezer for about seven years and its been great! Just recently its started making some unusual ticking/clicking and knocking noises and water is collecting and freezing at bottom of freezer section. Fridge is still working fine. Is this worth fixing or is a new fridge better option?

I purchased my Samsung SRL350LS from Appliances Online in July 2015. When it was just out of warranty I had water freezing and leaking from under the bottom drawer of freezer. I contacted Samsung under warranty when it was just two months out of warranty but their reply was that as it was out of warranty and they had not received any other similar complaints I’d have to pay for a service call out by a local authorised serviceman. The freezer was fixed by placing a copper wire into the drain hole. Coming into summer months a friend said my fridge was not very cold. A thermometer gaged that the temperature in the fridge stayed at 10 degrees C all year round whether I turned the temp up or down. Winter time was okay but as now summer is here again I use my very old fridge in the laundry to keep drinks cold. I don’t want to spend anymore money on this fridge but I’d like to know if someone out there can tell me what is wrong with my fridge temp and can I fix it myself.

Hi Rhonda. This sounds very similar to the issue I had with my fridge couple of years ago. I had water leaking from freezer as well as the fridge no longer being cool; it almost felt like room temperature. The leak was caused by a blocked drain and the fridge temperature was caused by a broken part that allows movement of cooler air from the freezer to the fridge section. I had this fixed out of warranty (by 9 months I believe) by Samsung. Fridge worked normally after this service.

Thanks Mark for your reply. You did well with Samsung as they would not fix my blocked drain as my fridge was out of warranty so I paid for a service call. I will ring for a service and ask if they can give me any idea of price to fix fridge cooling. Otherwise I'm thinking of buy a new fridge.

How can i turn temperature on freezer down my freezer has has got everything freezing colder than is necessary,does that mean the compressor has gone.
