Can the clear plastic front cover on the crisper drawer be removed?
I never could but was very annoyed how food would get stuck in there. I tried an old toothbrush. So many things about the fridge have been disappointing.

Hey Terry, there is not a specific Samsung way of cleaning this. Fridge across the board no matter what brand can be cleaned when mould is present with your usual cleaning tools. There are different methods of cleaning mould on a crisper that you can view on different cleaning sites , and choose which you prefer.

You can clean the draws itself but not the clear plastic covers individually.

Just got my freezer repaired at my own expense. Since the last posting - I have reached out to Samsung and it was not a pleasant customer experience at all. I had insisted that this is a design fault and my call was apparently been escalated to 2nd level support. Kept missing the callbacks and everytime I would call back I would have to go over the whole process again. Got fed up and initiated my own repairs through an authorized repairer. Turns out the issue is a known issue with the original freezer seal - they have a new seal design. This is is still a manufacturer issue as far as I'm concerned and Samsung did not come to the party.
I have a Samsung SRL457MW that has water pooling on the bottom of the freezer. This freezes solid and means it’s hard to open the bottom drawer. Is it blocked drainage and how can I fix it? Thanks.

My opening is 950 x 1800...what is the best fridge
Hi Jack Always check the dimensions on line, however the SRL458ESL would fit as it is 700 X 1700 which gives some space either side for ventilation. They have a new Smart fridge that has more high tech features

Thanks for that. I'm surprised that a 700x1700 fridge requires a 1085x1320 space. Doesn't make sense to me.

Hey there. This model doesn’t support converting the freezer section to a fridge section but you can follow the link below to the product manual and see the instructions for changing the temperature on page 18.

Please note that freezer section has a temperature range of -15C to -23C while the fridge section’s temperature ranges from 1C to 7C . Inappropriate temperature may result in food spoilage, please refer to food packaging for storage instructions.

Looks wise it’s a beautiful fridge! Mine happened to be a lemon and based on my experience with Samsung I would say stay away from Samsung! They were not willing to help at all.
Damn I know I love the look of it but I can't get out of it now ..... It's getting brought for me , so even with the warranty they didn't help ,now I am scared ... don't like the sound of it at all, hopefully mines good :/

my samsung bottom mount srl 458els the freezer is perfect but top of fridge not cold at freezer has always been -21 top 9 celsius
The fridge section of mine works well but the fruit/vegetable crisper does not keep things fresh. They become wrinkly and soft within days. Sorry but I would not recommend this fridge.

How to adjust level as my 458L fridge tilts to the left and I can only adjust the right side wheel but not the left wheel which won’t budge (unless it’s actually not an adjusting wheel).

Hi Jo, Thanks for your reply. I have the manual already. Your friendly delivery guy, Gary, came back and fixed what I thought was a stuck wheel adjuster and freed it. The fridge is now levelled. If there were more delivery guys like Gary, this world would be a better place. Cheers, Allen A.
