work it may lighten it the slightest but it leaves everything patchy no matter how hard you try to even it out. Please use something else and its so expensive at a local supermarket. If i could rate this is the negatives believe me it would be in the millions.

Awful product zero results! – I usually use a colour rewind brand or colour b4 and it’s pretty much done the core foundation job but this product did nothing but make my roots ginger, leave my hair still Dark and leaves a smell that is something else!!!! smell so chemically fuelled that I was scared to sleep in the same room as her or hold her after is the smell is so strong. So I decided to try my own smell remover after 4 washes and nothing! I got 2 table spoons of bicarbonate soda / baking soda either one…put it in a cup and mixed with half a cup of water and added lots of essential oils. Some orange essential oil and lavender and also rosemary oil. I massaged it into wet hair and left on for a few mins. I then got raw rosemary oil and rubbed that into my hair and left for another few mins. I washed out with really warm Water and then basically poured apple cider vinegar straight into a cup with some More east oak Oils and coconut oil and massaged into my hair for a few mins. I then washed out with really warm water and almost instantly the strong burning chemical smell wasn’t as potent. It definitely masked it to an extent but the smell is still there lingering. Tomorrow I will bleach bath my hair which will Include warm water and bleach and some Shampoo to strip the colour out more safely and hopefully the bleach will kill some Of the smell off….then I will recolour my hair and then hopefully the dye will mask the smell again. How ever I think for the near future I will have to use this vinegar and essential oil rinse once a week to drown out the stench. This product shud be banned!!!!!

Nowhere near as bad as the other reviews – So I bought this without reading the reviews and when I got home and read them I was super worried but didn’t want to have wasted my money. I followed every step as instructed from the booklet - clarifier, remover, clarifier again and lastly the bond treatment. My hair lightened a little, I wasn’t expecting a lot as there was a lot of dark build-up from years of dying already. But I think it’s light enough now for me to be comfortable bleaching. My hair feels healthy and soft. The smell lingers a little in the hair, but not enough to bother me, and no one else would smell it unless they stuck their face in my hair.

All in all I think this is a good product and if you only want to remove a layer of dye it’s probably pretty good.

lifting my hair - to avoid damage and to move away from colouring my hair altogether in future. This product works so well at removing unwanted dark oxidised colour. I'm naturally brown to dark brown with warm reddish undertones, so it only took me back to that since that's what was underneath the permanent colour. I used a green shampoo to tone out some of the warmth (read: red tones) in what was left and I'm happy that my hair just looks more natural now. The smell has pretty much gone after 2 weeks of shampoos and treatments. If you want to lift a lot of colour, be prepared to use bleach and deal with the potential damage. But if you just want to remove unwanted permanent dark shades from your hair, this is the pony to bet on.

that smell linger for a few days at bare minimum. A non chemical colour remover that works pretty well is vitamin c crushed up with head and shoulders mixed in and let it sit for an hour. For sure open the bottle of developer and see if you can stomach the smell before marinating your hair in it.

It really works. It is fantastic – I used 3.5 on my hair to colour to warm brown. It went black. I used the Scott Cornwall decolour. It worked a great. My hair is now brown with warm brown highlights. I am so happy Show details

the worst colour remover ive ever used, first time i used it it didnt work at all, second time around i heated it up with a hair dryer thinking maybe thats why it didnt work, it worked a little bit but still didnt get much colour out but the worst thing about this product is THE SMELL! i shampooed my hair three times and the smell still lingered, its horrible

I used this product years ago and worked well. Today I wanted to strip the dark brown colour I put on a few days ago, decided I did not like it. The Scott Cornwall Hair Colour Remover did nothing, absolutely no difference. I don't ond the smell, it's like the chemicals they use in hairdressing salons. DONT USE THIS PRODUCT! If I could leave no stars I would! You couldn't pay me enough to use this product again. The smell is disgusting and doesn't wash out for over a week. My pllow cases and clithes smelled after! I washed my hair 12 times in 3 days and it didn't help. Emailed the company asking what I could do and no response. On top of that it didn't work!! Worst product – This product did absolutely nothing, except turn my regrowth orange. But the worst part is the smell. I have never used a product that leaves such a pungent after smell. It smells like a feral cat took a p*ss on my head – This is a bad product all around. There is a lot of steps first of all but then all that work and absolutely no results and to top that all off it leaves your hair smelling like a feral cat took a p*ss on your head and nothing will get rid of it!!
