Absolutely life changing! We wanted blinds that would help block out light for our children. Not only have they achieved this, but they look amazing and block out the heat too! had measurements fitted and then finally the day came that we had our new screen put in. We got two one for our laundry door and one for our front door and we could not be happier. It has made a huge difference to our home as we can get the beautiful breeze in. keep the flies and Mozzy’s out and hasn’t affected my door because I still get to have this beautiful door without losing its beauty. Best buy ever as my room feels much cooler and my daughter gets to sleep anytime as earlier the room still wasnt dark enough for her to help sleep. The blinds were fitted within 90mins. The guys left no mess and talked me through the blinds. No light comes through the blinds and the rooms are in total darkness.
I would recommend ScreenAway to anyone who is looking for good blackout blinds that look good.

agreement was GONE. They now refuse to do it. Since paying I've called repeatedly. When someone actually answers they say they'll call back. They never do. The same people who wouldn't leave me alone before payment won't return a single call now. Friday last week was meant to be the installation, nobody showed up, no call, nothing. accidentally activated the wrong setting and woken them. It also means that if I’m in the baby’s room with the remote, my husband can’t operate the blinds in the master bedroom. After several emails and phone calls, we were told we had to purchase an additional remote at our own expense. This seems unreasonable, especially given the cost of the installation and the fact that most companies provide one remote per room as standard. More importantly, this limitation was never made clear during the consultation or quoting process. In addition, we’ve noticed that some of the blinds keep coming out of their frames and have developed visible creases. Given the recent installation and the overall cost, we wouldn’t expect this to occur. We’d appreciate it if you could review these issues and provide a fair resolution, as we feel the lack of clear communication and the quality concerns are not in line with the price or standard we were led to expect.

you could tell they cared about doing a neat job. I’ve got three bedrooms and an ensuite fitted out, including one large window over 2m wide. For that one they installed a solar powered, battery operated blind with remote control, no wiring needed. It looks great and works perfectly.
As a shift worker these blinds have made a huge difference to my sleep. They block out 100% of the light and even cut some noise which I didn’t expect. I was worried they might interfere with the aircon, but the installer explained the new design accounts for the airflow and I haven’t noticed any problems.
Overall I’m very happy with the result. My sleep has improved and the blinds look really smart in the house. I’d definitely recommend ScreenAway if you’re looking for block out blinds in Doubleview.

This is my second time I am using Screen Away Blinds. I been told the time frame of 6 weeks for 9 blinds. The blind was only 2 years old when it first broke. Cost me $120.00 to have removed. Cannot recommend this company, due to their lack of customer service and responsibility.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. We paid over $3k for blinds on just two windows and received some of the worst customer service I’ve experienced. The company initially sent through an invoice for motorised blinds, then changed it to manual blinds and changed to motorised again after their own mistake. information about our white posts appears to have been lost, and black posts were installed instead. Despite raising the issue, nobody has returned to fix it.
The blinds were also installed with obvious wrinkles. We were told they could be fixed, but nothing was resolved.
Communication was poor from start to finish, and once they had our money, the service became even worse. There was no accountability, no follow-through, and very little interest in fixing their mistakes.
Thankfully, we only had blinds installed in one room. We won’t be using this company again and would strongly recommend others look elsewhere.
