Unreliable, lacking accountability, ongoing delays, unprofessional set up – Extreme inefficiency & poor customer service from start to finish, except for the part where they receive payment. Ongoing delays, no accountability, no adherence to time frames…does not care about paying customer - it’s a NO to recommending

Do not use this company (I was forced to give them one star, they do not deserve that) – I have been trying to organise my floor boards to be re-sanded and polished by SE Timber in Drummoyne for two months now. I have been promised calls back over 10 times and have always been told "Ill call you back in 5 minutes" by Vanessa, the Manager there. I then get told that Vanessa is a problem and they are going to investigate it???? When I read the reviews, this issue has been going on for a long time. The Manager, of SE Timber came out and apologised. He told us he would fix it and guess what - no call back. I'm really disappointed as I used them 15 years ago and they were great. They are completely unprofessional and I would not recommend them fullstop.

arrived they were quick, neat and tidy in all aspects of the installation. We had the added complexity of removing skirting boards (from lime rendered walls) and relaying the skirts as well. Although Matt didn't remove the skirts he did a fantastic job of relaying the new skirts. Nothing was too much effort. Matt also worked with our electrician to ensure power points etc could be neatly inserted where we wanted them. SE Timber wasn't the cheapest of the quotes we received, but I'm so glad that we paid a little more for a quality finish. In terms of timing, we had about 55 sq. metres to be laid, including levelling, and the job was completed within 4 days, which was the timeframe indicated by SE Timbers. We would definitely use SE Timber again.

Zak came out to do the measure and quote, he was straight up and very informative. He explained the process and recommended some changes I hadn't considered, which only enhanced the end result. Throughout the installation, Zak kept me informed of where they were up to and the end result is excellent. Most importantly, I had a finished floor in time to move in.

I couldn't be happier with the overall service and end product. I checked out 4 other flooring companies and no one came close to the level of service I received from SE Timber. If you're in Melbourne, I highly recommend you check out their showroom in Richmond.

Constant chasing up with phone calls, texts and emails and she keeps promising to refund the money but never does. She has practically stolen my money and is now evading me. Terrible – Defective work. Vanessa is rude. They stole other material from my property and despite being caught on camera, they denied it. They left us with flooring which is defective, scammed us by charging us for floor levelling which is NOT level, leaving sections of our floor which are bouncy. utilise expansion joints as required and despite making repeated assurances to come back and make good on all the defects, did not bother showing up or committing. The delays throughout the installation process meant that we were charged additional costs by my home builder. A terrible and stressful experience.

Terrible, unreliable, Shoddy work – SE timber was a nightmare to deal with. The contractors were unskilled and did not finish the job properly. Whole sections had to be pulled up multiple times because they were so bad. The took out cabinetry that they broke and did not fix. There is still unfinished work where they failed to complete, despite promises from the owner that he would arrange someone to complete the seals and fix defects. Awful experience.

We went ahead with Se Timber Flooring in Drummoyne as we found them to be very upfront and very professional the floor we got was a Boral Spotted Gum wide board .Our floor looks amazing the installers did a fantastic job the finish was done with a water base Satin, everything was done as Vanessa originally told us and by their in -house installers nothing was subcontracted out. Danger Warning - Stay Clear – WARNING DANGER ! Never in my 15 years in construction have I worked with a contractor less reliable and with such poor workmanship. They never achieved dates and timbers are lifting.

Very Happy Customer – SE staff's advice on floor selection and on-site sub-floor levelling was invaluable. Barry the installer did an excellent job. He was professional, focused and personable. The finished floor is faultless.

Since the repair over half the floor is defective with creaking and movement. SE Timber tried to repair the work however it has become worse. Strongly recommend do not use SE Timber.

I will be starting legal proceeding to have an alternative repairer fix the problem. This has been very stressful. Avoid at all costs!!

Terrible service, refuse to fix their problem – I had a laminate floor laid in November 2019. Immediately there were problems. Numerous emails and telephone calls from me and office of Fair Trading to SE Timber. Now in Feb. I have had to lodge a claim with NCAT for SE Timber to fix my floors. voicemail from her later but I didn't respond as I was home by then. The third time I went there there was yet again a sign on the door saying back in 20 minutes! I waited 10 minutes then called Vanessa again who answered and said "I'm coming back now" I waited another 10 minutes before she arrived. I went in and chose the timber I liked and she said she would send a quote, which she did and she also said she would send someone around the next day to look at the floor. That was supposed to be 3 days ago and I haven't heard a word since. Clearly I will not be using their services. I can't believe they're still in business when they can't even treat potential customers well!

Timber Shutters - Great Job – We chose SE Timber Blinds & Shutters to supply and install our new Cedar window shutters and could not be happier with the results. Zac and his team ensured that the quality of the product was the best it could be and the installation went without a hitch. We highly recommend SE for any timber shutter work you require.

Exceptional customer service – In the Christmas rush the manager dropped off timber samples to my home, the staff were completely solution focused in addressing an issue and were unfailingly cheerful. Can I give 10 stars?
