great and probably just as good as - in fact I might even prefer them - over my friend's gold edition Marley's (which he paid a LOT for). The noise cancelling works great and a lot of the time people think my music is on 100% volume because they have to physically tap me (but maybe I'm just so immersed in the sound). The only sound it leaks is when the buds are out of your ears (gives me anxiety being on public transport and thinking people can hear my music so this is important to me). Now the important stuff, the sound is pretty good! I changed some settings on the mixer on my phone to get perfect sound for me but without it it's pretty nice. The treble can be a little too much for some, but that's fixed using my mixer - which I don't mind since I paid $20 ahaha. I do love these earphones especially because I have that satisfying feeling of enjoying the music I love (and it plays well with all genres), and not having paid a whole week or two's paycheck.

Decent earphones for the price paid – I purchased this to replace my old Sennheiser CX-200's. I paid approximately $80 at JB Hifi. These earphones accompany me on my daily commute to work. I do find that my ears become uncomfortable with pressurised air on long usage (more than 30 minutes). In terms of build quality, it still looks new after 10 months of use and they have lasted longer than the Sennheiser CX-200 which was of a poorer build quality.

I would recommend these to those looking for an above average quality set of earphones with budget in mind. Be weary of ones that are sold on eBay as they are most likely to be fakes. Good sound after burn in – Out of the box they sound terrible - the bass is too heavy and muddy. I did a burn-in for around 15 hours on pink noise, and the mids and trebles started shining through too. The buds are comfortable and don't fall out at all. The noise cancelling is alright - it cuts the outside noise by quite a bit but if there was no music playing you would still be able to hear conversation.

I bought it from Ebay, and there's the danger of it being counterfeit - the build quality is pretty good though so if it's a fake it's pretty much as good as the real thing.

I know some people don't like the asymmetrical earphones but I like wearing them behind my neck so it's okay for me. decent sound, carrying pouch, doesn't tangle, asymmetrical cords heaps of counterfeits on Ebay, sounds terrible from the box

Great sounds, durable too – Great sounds-I listen to lots of audiobooks and they were perfect for that. Easy to get a good fit in the ear with the provided buds and that gives good sound isolation. These are great for the price! – These headphones give amazing clear clean sounds. Not particularly bass heavy, but they are great for every day use. They fit well and come with different sized squishy buds for the right fit. They are comfortable, I can wear them for quite a few hours and I like that they have a symmetrical cable. Unbeatable at the Pricepoint – The CX 300/IIs have a great full sound stage with excellent bass and excelled isolation. The sound is simply amazing from a small inexpensive bud. of your ears easily without a clip. I'm not a big fan of the wrap around cable style, personally I would prefer to wear them directly in front as wrap around sometimes results in annoying snags and buds falling out. Overall though, so much sound for so little money makes these a steal!

there is no consistency..Also, I hate how the mere touch of the chord makes an awful penetration of sound into the ear bud. I bought Bob Marleys for a fraction of the price and they were much better.

Nice sound quality – Great earphones from Sennheiser. These weren't not too expensive and not too cheap, just right. The bass was really nice and I haven't had one that's bassier. Decent ear buds..... not worth the price – 1st things first.... the noise cancelling is very overrated. I understand this is an ear bud and most people who buy these don't even consider buying cans, but even the filmiest of cans is 500% more noise cancelling than these. Also, even with the different attachments, these did not want to stay in my ears at the gym. Might just be my ears - I have never found ear buds that always stay in. Perfect! – I listen to a mixture of music mostly on iPhone and the these work great. They fit well, can choose from different size ear buds. Sometimes my ear buds fall out at work when being physical but it’s a rare thing. The sound is clear and really amazing, I like the remote and mic... comes in handy and works well. Not to bad – I have never been disappointed by a sennheiser earphone product. The CX 300 is a good product for the price. Durable product however they tend to be a bit bass heavy. An Okay Earphone – this earphones is very comfortable to wear and has good quality sounds however the bass is quite overpowering. Perfect balance; affordability/quality – I purchased these online from an australian ebay seller. i was absolutely stoked with the performance, the selection of tips was convenient and it allowed me to get an excellent seal in my ears. A good budget earphones – CX300 ii doesn't have fancy sound quality. Bass is heavy on this earphones but not as heavy as a pair of beats solo 2. The left and right cable is not in same length. phone connector socket is designed as L shape which is very useful. When you plug into phone or tablet the cable end won't kink accidentally.

Great sound at an affordable price – Those headphones provide the best sound for a minimal cost. Sennheiser is a quality brand and you would not be disappointed. comfortable and good sound – Really enjoying these. I used to use the stock apple earphones, and the difference is light and day. They produce real bass and are actually very comfortable. Great sound - does the job – I purchase these Sennheiser Cx300 Known for its brand in producing quality. I enjoyed it when going to and from work on the train. The optional rubber ear pods can be change to suit your ears and help reduce outside noise. The negative, Not much but if I had to be picky, well it does get a little hot wearing it, that is because of the rubber pieces moulding around the ear for the comfortable fit. Great product has lasted me long – This product has lasted me 2 years. Sadly it has started to play up as a result to rough handling of the cable. I like the complementary pouch they provided to store the headphones, this has definitely extended the lifespan of my product. Sound quality is premium and it fits perfectly to my ears. Alright, expected more balance – These are expectedly better than the sennheiser CX 1.00 that i used before, and has a better treble range. Quality and design-wise I felt that due to the $80 price tag, the wires could have been of better quality - I felt that they used the same wires for both - easily tangled. Faulty – I brought these earbuds 4 days ago and they electric shoot my ears from each bud. They would be good if it was not for this dangerous faulty condition. Unfortunately i did not keep my receipt as i was not expecting this kind of condition. while they do fit and stay in my ear, they don't feel firmly stuck inside my ear - though this is more a personal preference (I have a pair of Jaybirds so I might have been spoilt by their high quality).

Overall, for someone who just wants earphones and isn't a major audiophile, I wouldn't recommend these - too expensive, go for something a little cheaper.

Not worth the money – Generally lacks mid range and sound isn't bright enough. Base seems ok but treble can be a little sharp. Would expect more for the asking price. Great value earbuds – Previously had sennheiser earbuds and have always thought them to be very good quality for the cost. These are no exception. They are very clear, good presence and full sound. The bass is very good without being over the top but still very nice, tight and rich. Good all round earbuds, no disappointment at all. Only minor negative is the different length cords for left and right - would prefer them the same length.

Great earbuds, always break after 2 years – Great audio quality for the audiophile on a budget who's music library goes beyond doof doof dance tracks. Have owned these twice now and my only criticism is the internal wiring breaks after two years of use. Funny how they have a 2 year warranty. Admittedly I wear mine to the gym and running with them on but hey for sub $100 they are great value

Awesome Sound – The best in ear headphones I have purchased. I listen to a lot of music while going to sleep as I have tinnitus and the Sennheiser CX 300/2 ready delivery with clear, crisp sound and bass. You really get a depth of sound while cutting most room noise out. I'm sold on these little beauties 10/10.
