SEPC Builders

So glad we got out before any construction – Requested more money as the concreter claimed to have raised their costs. We denied their request. Following this, there was excuse after excuse as to why they couldn’t start. Said if we paid extra they’ll start asap. We still refused this as could see this going nowhere. Then both of us agreed to a refund, however we are still waiting for it. Never met a builder who offers a refund and yet refuses to reply to my emails once I’ve signed the cancellation deed. Been nearly 1 year since we requested to cancel. Took 2 months to get the deed. And now no response despite nearly 60 emails, phone calls and texts. If I could give -10 rating I would. So glad I have decided to not build with them, if we are struggling now I can only imagine how the build would go. Even pre Covid we were having issues with them. Disaster of a company.

Scammer, don’t build with them!!! – I signed a contract with these guys back in 2022, I gave them a $8,500 deposit for plans. I was told coz of pricing cost I must give them $68,000 on top of my $170,000 fixed contract which I said no to. I was promised by them that I would get my money back a week later…. That was over a year and a half ago! He’s done this to so many people and even people who used to work with him has told us he is a scammer. Doesn’t answer phone calls or emails and takes your deposit and runs for the hills. People are suing him left, right and centre but can’t sue someone you can’t find!

Building on a block of land in pakenham – I haven been waiting for SEPC builders for nearly 8 months since I signed and paid the building contract. I paid 5,000 for the planning drawings and building permit March 2022 then I paid 25,000 February 2023 and nothing has happened. The town building permit was issued on October 2022. It’s no way to contact them, they don’t answer emails or phone calls, it it like they don’t exist. They don’t build and don’t return the deposit. Please don’t sign any contracts with this builders. They have put me in a lot of financial stress.
