SGFleet is a SCAM.. My 2 year Novated lease was auto renewed by SGFleet and I was expecting SGFleet to send me a final invoice close to this date and I was not told by anyone that my 2 year contract will be auto renewed for another year. I received a new contract for a new package allocation which was calculated with high charges for all… Read more
fuel/service/estimations. I have not agreed for any of these new allocations nor to the contract extension. As soon as I saw this mail I called SGFleet and I was told I have to wait til next month to settle the final amount and cannot be ended in that month. With this I received the final payout invoice and I was surprised to see this had higher residual amounts to be paid than what I initially agreed. My salary deductions have also gone up with unagreed amounts. I raised a complaint to SGFleet and they said they have charged me contract termination fee when I did not agree to extend the contract and also did not disclose the termination amount. Also upon questioning how they derived on higher estimates of fuel/service/tyre/etc charge provisions for another year in the contract I was told it’s generated by their system and they are unaware how it was calculated. Do NOT go with SGFleet as it's a scam and their customer service team was horrible including the CS manager [Name Removed] who was unable to address any of my queries

and pulled the plug many times, but deiced to go ahead in the end. Claiming fuel and insurance has been trouble free. My reason for not giving 5 stars: I have the impression that the company pushes for longer leases. They never really explicitly did it, but if you use their website the impression is that a longer lease is better. Of course, better or worse depends on each individual set of circumstances but, if your objective is to save money, get the shortest possible lease. In my case, I asked for 1 year, but they only gave me a 25 month lease. I accepted, it is still better than a 5 year lease. The shorter the lease, the bigger the proportional tax savings. You will "save" more in taxes through longer leases, but in the end it's not worth it.

about my wife's application and why there is no response from original case manager, Eric Tan reached out and informed that he will be taking over our application. I must say, Eric provided one of the highest customer services and knowledge on the product that I ever experienced. We had a correspondence of over 40 emails, and each email he would respond within 30 minutes. Even during Easter, I wanted to double check and I emailed him on Sunday morning around 8:40am, Eric even then responded under 30 minutes. He did an outstanding job with our car lease application and I would highly recommend him to any1 who is inquiring for SG Fleet services, Eric is the type of a great employee, that makes you want come back to SG Fleet for a return business.
Unfortunately my experience was very poor and I wish I could go back and not have used SG Fleet. Overall, I found them misleading (vague answers and not answering questions directly). - I was not given the 'fleet buying power' of SG Fleet as advertised and had to go buy my own car (via deposit) for the standard RRP.
- My vehicle was ready from the dealer within 3 days (registered to me) and SG Fleet took well over a week to finalise the payment and forced me to sign a new contract that is $650 more over the life of the lease even though I was told I will not pay a cent more than the original quote, that this was for 'administration purposes'. I confirmed the call was being recorded and that I won't pay a cent more but guess what came out of my bank account.
- Please note the big box with the $ amount that literally says 'Your fortnightly package cost' - Add 31% to that of what actually comes out of your pay as this is the post tax amount. I asked this question and it was not answered honestly.
- 3,000kms per year were shaved off my quote requirements.
- The interest rate went from 7.87% to 8.19% as a result of their delays whilst I waited for them to finalise the vehicle that was already allocated to me.
- The vehicle I purchased was a 2025 as per the VIN/VicRoads/dealer docs and I was forced into signing a contract for a 2026 model or I can't proceed and lose my deposit or have to purchase the vehicle outright.
- All the above issues I called about and was passed around and provided no answers.
- Good luck getting a call back/email reply once you are finished with the sales team, still yet to receive an actual email reply.
Overall, a terrible experience and I would never use them again. I made the mistake of saying it was my first time leasing and I believe they took advantage of me. The amount that comes out of my pay will total $97,630 over 5 years for a $67,000 car (yes aware that is pre-tax and Incl insurance/rego/tyres etc, no fuel as electric) and they still want $20,000 residual at the end if I want to keep it??? $117,630 over 5 years for a $67,000 car, next time I'll just buy it outright and save the $ and the hassle.

frustrating. Follow-ups are often missed, communication lacks clarity, and it frequently feels like the responsibility falls back on us to chase updates and push actions forward. It has been an ongoing challenge.
Jaime, however, is a complete outlier.
From the moment we connected with him, he immediately understood the issue at hand. Instead of redirecting us or asking us to follow up with other teams ourselves (as we have often experienced), Jaime proactively took ownership. He actively worked to connect with the relevant teams, sought accurate information, and ensured we were given clear next steps.
Most importantly, he followed through. He handled the matter professionally and later sent a detailed follow-up email summarizing the discussion and outlining the best course of action. That level of accountability and clarity is something we truly value and rarely experience.
Jaime Garcia sets the standard for what customer service should look like — responsive, proactive, accountable, and solution-focused. We genuinely appreciate his efforts and hope his approach reflects the direction SG Fleet moves toward in the future.

I called SG Fleet with a range of questions relating to my recent purchase. The phone number was visible on the website. The selections offered were precise and delivered me to the correct people. The wait times were short and clearly explained. I would give no stars if I could. Since they have taken over from LeasePlan my figures are always in a negative for some reason, they decided in March to take 5 months worth of payments out of our account. don't know why we are paying for a lease at all. Then I ask for a payout figure, mind you our lease is up next year and they give me a price a few thousand less than what we paid for the car 3 years ago. This is the worst case of mismanagement of a lease plan I have ever seen. We have had a few and never had I had to pay the lease plan plus all the expenses of services and rego and get NO reimbursement because they have stuffed our figures. On top of that, I’ve repeatedly been charged for “fuel” expenses linked to EV charging cards (RFID), which I never requested in the first place and only had discussion about with the salesman. Despite asking multiple times for these to be cancelled, the charges have continued.
Overall, the lack of transparency, unexpected costs, and poor responsiveness have made this a frustrating experience.
For comparison, my previous novated lease with Maxxia (ICE vehicle) was far smoother and more transparent — I regret not being able to stay with them.

SG fleet customer service is poor. Responsiveness is slow, and multiple escalations and reminders were necessary throughout the process get acknowledgements, let alone answers to my questions.
