Connor was fantastic throughout my entire SG Fleet experience. He was proactive, responsive, and always willing to help, making the whole process as straightforward and stress-free as possible. His communication was excellent, and he took the time to answer questions and keep everything moving smoothly. I really appreciated his support and professionalism and would highly recommend him to anyone going through the novated lease process. Show reply

The 5 stars was for Ruchi, as she was helpful with answering my questions and sent me the require information also to my email for reference. However, that was a follow-up to an email requesting a call in the first place. Took a few days longer than expected to get the call but seems they are very busy so just be aware that from my experience things flow slower than expected. Show reply

I worked with Steven Brown (Novated Lease Consultant) and Steven Steen (Vehicle Delivery Coordinator) who made the purchase of my new Mazda 3 seamless. They were quick to respond to any questions or concerns I had. I had some unexpected delays in receiving my car, but they worked efficiently to ensure I got my car in the end - and it was worth the wait :) Show reply

Everything about this company is scam behaviour. At every step of the process they include extras in packages to fill their own pockets, this even includes things that don't apply to your car completely. If you ask to remove them, they sneak them back into the contract at a later date in the process. They also say that the 10.44% interest rate… Read more

is "a floating rate" and it "will change upon settlement" I can guarantee you having completed this process, that it does not change at all.

Avoid this company at all costs.

Avoid! SG Fleet won't pay for budgeted expenses if you have insufficient funds in your account. Which means the money is coming out of your pay but you still have to pay to run your car until you have sufficient funds for them to reimburse you. They… Read more

don't seem to understand that the monthly payment is calculated over the life of the lease and that, although you might go into negative sometimes, it will catch up. They expect you, the customer to go negative, not them. They are in the wrong business.

Follow-up  · Nothing has changed. There is no point getting a novated lease through SG Fleet, you have to pay for the expenses on your car anyway and they may reimburse you eventually.

First of all, it's crazy that there are so many extremely negative reviews here. I'm glad I ignored them and went ahead with the lease. I must say… Read more

that the leasing process was very well assisted by the consultant in most aspects. I had many doubts and pulled the plug many times, but deiced to go ahead in the end. Claiming fuel and insurance has been trouble free. My reason for not giving 5 stars: I have the impression that the company pushes for longer leases. They never really explicitly did it, but if you use their website the impression is that a longer lease is better. Of course, better or worse depends on each individual set of circumstances but, if your objective is to save money, get the shortest possible lease. In my case, I asked for 1 year, but they only gave me a 25 month lease. I accepted, it is still better than a 5 year lease. The shorter the lease, the bigger the proportional tax savings. You will "save" more in taxes through longer leases, but in the end it's not worth it.

Follow-up  · This website asked me to write a "follow up", hopefully not (but most likely) just an AI generated response... Anyway. Here go the answers: 1) How did the consultant ease your concerns? R- The consultant always demonstrated good and comprehensive knowledge of the whole process, which looked like a black box based only on the website. He answered… Read more

Follow-up  · What about other services? R- the service for scratch and dent removal (Schmick) is good How was the website? R- old style but functional How was the handover? R- no hangover

consultants all eager to get your business. That is where the good vibe ends unfortunately. As a first time user of a vehicle lease, I was heading into unchartered waters and I needed plenty of reassurances that I was doing things correctly. I would reach out many times, mainly by email at first. To say the wheels at SG Fleet move slowly is an understatement. Emails would often take up to 5-8 days sometimes longer for a reply. If you take the path of a phone call that too is often problematic, on hold for ridiculously long periods and never talking to the same person twice. I then had the misfortune of having the vehicle stolen in January and subsequently written off as a total loss by the insurance company (Vero, who where absolutely fantastic through the whole process) The process of getting answers out of SG Fleet of how things look going forward was trying to say the least. From the outside looking in, the problem seems to be that there are too many "teams", every stage has a team and getting an answer off anyone is really difficult. Perhaps a model they should consider is when you enter a lease you have a designated consultant and they stay with you right through the process. What is in place now just doesn't seem to work and causes anxiety in people like me who are really not too sure how this world of leasing operates.

Follow-up  · Since i posted the initial review i have spoken to two colleagues who have been through the SgFleet sphere for vehicle leasing. I came away feeling slightly better as these two people experienced the same issues as i did. That is really slow response to emails and NEVER talking to the same person twice, except the sales consultant and the same… Read more

Their patience, responsiveness, and attention to detail made what could have been a complex experience both straightforward and enjoyable. At no stage did I feel pressured and I greatly appreciated their honest advice and willingness to go the extra mile to assist me.

Steven and Durim are excellent ambassadors for SG Fleet and provided a level of customer service that exceeded my expectations. I am extremely pleased with my new Tesla Model 3 and grateful for the support they provided every step of the way.

I would highly recommend both Steven and Durim to anyone considering a Novated Lease and even a Tesla. Their professionalism, expertise, and customer-focused approach made all the difference.

Once the finance was approved and the vehicle ordered, Kiruthika Jayavelu did an outstanding job coordinating the delivery and guiding me through all the post-delivery requirements. Her communication and support throughout the process were excellent.

From selecting the right car to finance approval, purchasing, delivery, and aftercare, SG Fleet handled everything professionally and efficiently. We are absolutely thrilled with our new EV and couldn't be happier with the service we received.

A huge thank you to Sebastien, Kiruthika, and the entire SG Fleet team for such a positive experience. Highly recommended!

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with SG Fleet and would strongly caution anyone considering using them for a novated lease. I ordered a Ute through SG Fleet, with the vehicle originally to be delivered in June 2026. June came and went. No vehicle. I was then given 14 August as the next delivery date. When I contacted the dealer… Read more

myself, I was told there was no confirmed delivery date.

I subsequently spoke with Robyn from SG Fleet’s Complaints Department, who gave me multiple further dates during the same phone call — September, October and then 30 October then there isn’t an actual date.

So after months of waiting, I still have no car and no reliable delivery date.

This isn’t a situation where I have another vehicle sitting in the driveway while I wait. I have no car at all because of the original delivery date. I have been relying on lifts and riding a bike in the middle of winter.

The most serious part of this has been completely overlooked

I complained and disclosed to SG Fleet that I am experiencing domestic violence from my former partner.

I have experienced physical assault, threats, harassment and property damage, and I have been followed in public while being screamed at.

When this happens, I need to be able to quickly get away and somewhere safe.

A bike doesn’t provide that option. I need to be able to get into a vehicle, lock the doors and leave.

As a male, disclosing domestic violence is incredibly difficult. Unfortunately, there is still a perception that violence against men isn’t as serious, or that a woman hitting a man somehow doesn’t count as domestic violence. It does.

I disclosed this to SG Fleet because it directly affects why having a vehicle is so important to me. I do not feel that my disclosure was acknowledged or taken seriously.

Instead, the whole situation has continued to be treated like another routine sales vehicle transaction.

Meanwhile, I am the person left without a vehicle and without the safety net I was expecting to have months ago.

This has significantly affected my mental health, and I am struggling with the situation every day. It is very hard to talk or write about it and I have asked for help to do so.

The proposed “solution”

After explaining all of this and much much more, I asked SG Fleet to consider an exceptional circumstance solution.

There is another vehicle available locally, and I asked whether SG Fleet could work with the dealer to swap the delayed Ute for another vehicle while keeping my weekly payment as close as possible to my original arrangement. I wasn’t spoken to like I had a complaint, instead, I was quoted $618 per week, a sales call.

I had already explained that I could not afford a significant increase in my repayments but NEED a car.

I find it extremely disappointing that after months of delays, incorrect/inconsistent delivery information and a very personal disclosure about my safety, the proposed solution is effectively “pay more we don’t care at all”

It feels like my circumstances haven’t actually been listened to and I feel so depressed about it.

I also specifically requested contact from the General Manager or equivalent. That did not happen.

I don’t know why I even bother trying to get help when people disregard and treat you like it’s nothing.

I am looking for SG Fleet to take ownership of a problem that has been going on for months and find a realistic solution.

I need a car. I need to be able to safely remove myself from threatening situations. It’s gone way too far now. And I need an arrangement that I can actually manage not another sales call. Great complaint management.

At this point, my experience has been months of missed or unreliable delivery dates, no vehicle, significant stress and anxiety, and a proposed alternative cost that is ridiculously more expensive than my original arrangement.

I don’t know why I bothered.

I hope SG Fleet will actually review this complaint and provide a meaningful resolution rather than another estimated delivery date.

Worst customer service experience, I wish I could give zero stars. My experience with SG Fleet has been extremely disappointing. I will provide my feedback in 3 parts 1. During quotation/sales period . Service was fantastic and all my questions were promptly responded to, followed up with calls etc. 2. coordinator will respond. Delivery coordinator is non existent or too busy to respond to emails. I requested monthly updates but none came until I send multiple emails. I had another vehicle with SG and I renewed my lease in July thinking that I will not get the new vehicle months later.. however surprise I was advised mid July that the vehicle is here . If they had given me an update end June or early July I wouldn't have extended my lease. Now I will be loosing AUD 600.00 due to early termination. You charge me a monthly service fee but I get nothing in return. You also charge me a non competitive interest rate.. the so called rate of the day. It never went down but kept going ip and up.. ended up in 9.75% quote signed jn Jan was 8.xx something and ended up with 9.75%. No room for negotiations I was told. Atleast their service should improve for charging such exorbitant rate. 3. After delivery. No emails from SG. Some accessories ordered wasn't delivered. Sent multiple emails as usual radio silence. SG Fleet your service levels and non responses are really bad for the premiums you charge. Lease plan was so much better. They will be very responsive until you sign the dotted line then Ignored. Very disappointing.

Lease salesperson excellent ! Helpful, good communication, matched the rate of another leasing company. Once the lease was signed, the service was not good. Main issue was a lack of communication. One of several negative reviews I’ve made about SG Fleet since I leased a car through them (ordered the wrong car, took months to sort out the paperwork, didn’t pay the dealer’s invoice for weeks so the dealer wouldn’t release the car to me, sent me fuel cards that didn’t work etc.). This one is about a scuff mark on my bumper. I vaguely recalled… Read more

paying for minor scratch cover. Digging through layers on their website I eventually found I’d paid for “MDR Plus 4 Years”. No other information provided, and MDR doesn’t appear in a search of the SG Fleet website. ChatGPT found it meant Minor Damage Repair and provided a link to an SG Fleet webpage (apparently hidden from their own search tool) that gave some information but didn’t explain how you arranged a repair. Back to ChatGPT who suggested I try Schmick Scratch & Dent Assist. I downloaded the Schmick app, and logged in with the same email address I use for SG Fleet. Amazingly I found my car details were all preloaded so I was able to put in a repair request. My one star “terrible” review reflects my opinion of SG Fleets’s website.
