they cannot do anything about it, runaway from Sharp appliance because they don’t keep anything for it. They still making this kind of fridges I was forced into buying this fridge because of the height of the unit ,after sale services and Customer Services doesn’t exist and they don’t care.

Perfect fridge for us – Recently purchased this fridge for my new home. Its a very basic fridge in that it doesnt have all the bells and whistles of some of the other models out there - no water dispenser/tv in door - that sort of thing. Which was GREAT! dispenser. There is heaps of door space and inside space. I've gone from needing a spare freezer in the garage to not needing it at all!!

The fridge itself looks great, temperature seems good throughout and is easy to set/change.

Fridge is easy to open and close. Have to make sure that you do actually properly push it to close it, but if you dont, it beeps after a short time to alert you of it.

So far, loving this fridge!!

Door alarm issue – Have had the fridge for about 4 years and for at least 3 of those years the alarm for the door goes of when the fridge is more then half full. The doors look closed but we have to apply additional pressure to both doors for the alarm to stop sounding. I can put up with the broken plastic shelves in the fridge but the door alarm is annoying. Great fridge, spatious, well built, economical – This fridge maintains the temperature quite well. There is ample space in both the fridge and freezer. supplier told me that I'll received in 2-3 weeks. Item didn't arrive so I contacted them a more than month later I ordered. They said they will chase up. They called me yesterday and said it will be in late June 2017 because goods comes from USA.

Get replacement parts from Sharp is so difficult.We wouldn't purchase if we knew their service is like that.

Poor quality accessories – Like the space of this fridge however the quality of the plastic compartments and drawers are flimsy. Despite my gentle handling the hinges pivot point of the vegetable crispier lid/cover broke. Disappointed of the quality of the product for a fridge of this pricing. Hesitant to replace due to poor durability of the accessories. Maintaining quality veg and fruit without the lid would probably be compromised.  Show details

And, here we go again: a broken door hinge – We had a similar experience. First the dairy compartment hinge broke. Then, again within the first 18 months the crisper drawer hinge broke. under some manufacturer warranty and to call a Sharp designated service person to inspect the unit. Problem is, if it isn’t covered we will have to pay for the service call and then the part and then another service call to fit the part. We thought we might buy the part and contacted a service firm and they contacted Sharp for the part. They were told the parts are not in stock and there is no ETA. So, we are stuck and Sharp has not been responding to our emails which is very disappointing. It’s a great refrigerator, well designed but the quality of the plastic hinges are a real concern now and in the next months and years to come.

Here we go again: another broken hinge – Again, the vegetable crisper drawer lid hinge broke-in the same place as all the other breakages. This was the third replacement in 15 months. Airport depot. The lid from a Lidcome transport depot. I am sorry we bought this fridge with its ongoing plastic parts braking (yes, the dairy compartmemt lid hinge also broke-same design as the crisper lid hinge.)

Sharp have been good to replace all these parts under warranty. The lid costs about $90 and I am really worried that we will have to put up with these poorly designed lids for a long time when the warranty runs out. In all other respects, we are very happy with this fridge.

I hope not to have to go through all the paperwork (invoices and photos) for another warranty claim.

Love it, pleanty of room – This fridge is awesome, I find it really easy to clean. The temperature is constant and the French doors for the freezer makes really easy access and heaps more room than the draw type freezers. now 2 weeks and counting. The tech guy came 4 times (I had to take time off work) and he still can't get it to work or figure out what's wrong. Not only I had to throw out all the food in the refrigerator and had the added costs of feeding the family with takeaways, I couldn't get a loan fridge nor a timeline of when it is going to be fixed or replaced though it has another 14 months worth of warranty.

Really poor Support Service.

Love it – Have had it since January and absolutely love it. Open fridge door and whatever you want is right there. Don't waste so much vegetables as it is at right height to see when opening door. a time to get what you want, same as the fridge. The freezer section also has drawers – five food drawers and two slim ones for ice cubes (Icy poles and ice blocks fit in there nicely too). One of the freezer drawers is deep enough to hold frozen pizzas on their side, which is useful. The fridge section isn’t the largest capacity (372L) of fridges this size but it is fine for our small family. The freezer (252L) has the most space of any I’ve owned; it’s great to have everything organised and easy to find (meat in separate drawers to veg etc). The fridge is practically silent, no noise, unlike our old F & P. Promotion lies – Was looking at a replacement Fridge/Freezer and was choosing between the Sharp SJFP676SL and the Mitsubishi MR-L710, very close but picked the sharp because of promotion gift of pots and pans valued at $545 which i thought was good but tried to claim redemption and was only offered a cheap looking juicer. but can't deliver because of sales software ordering issues. Haven't provided any time frame when this "software issue" will be fixed. What I can't understand is why is their software issue delaying delivery of the fridge that I have already paid for. Seriously its not the software that delivers the fridge its the bloody delivery van. Disappointed – After waiting almost 3 weeks for fridge to be delivered from online store,how disappointing to discover that our brand new fridge had some small dents.Also after initially working the interior lights don't work and the door open alarm beeps when the door is closed, fortunately this function can be turned off.
