Waited months and months after my my slab was poured for my carport to be put up. I kept contacting and even went in there and was told there were many people in the same boat and I just had to wait. got tired of waiting. In the end I payed someone else to do it. They stuffed up.. the footings were meant to be concreted in the slab they were not! Maybe this is the real reason they weren't coming out. Unprofessional and unreliable. I do not recommend going anywhere near this place spend your money on a place with true professionalism and reliability.
Warranty isn’t worth the paper it’s written on. No contact info for head office, so if you’re having issues with the local supplier/ builder it can’t be dealt with. Do yourself a favour and go through a local building company instead, even if it’s a longer wait it’s going to be more worthwhile in the long run.

I am super happy with the final result!
Note that I looked around at other providers but did not get the same service I received from Sam and the team, so again, would definitely recommend considering them for a Shed build.

contractors. This led to a lack of ownership of problems. For example the offer included the concrete we requested including an apron around the shed. The fine print purely allowed for the minimal slab on completely flat ground without cut / fill leading to additional costs that weren't seen by this inexperienced purchaser. The concreter who started the job took a long time to get to site due to weather and then fell ill meaning a new concreter was assigned. This was frustrating but unavoidable. It poured rain on the last hour of the concrete pour leading to some superficial issues which were once again unavoidable. The Metrol shed arrived in a few deliveries and the prior communication was poor meaning I had to leave work abruptly to ensure the material was stored where I wanted it. A steel man door and some sheeting were stacked on top of each other leading to damage which wasn't properly rectified after some sturdy discussion leaving a poor finish. The shed builder put together a good shed which seems well designed and very sound. The shed builder left about 2 tonnes of scrap metal, sheeting etc. When I asked when they were removing this and their other rubbish including lunch containers, coffee cups etc they told me they don't do that. I then called Sheds n Homes who said the same and mentioned the fine print that I hadn't read. I misjudged the people I was dealing with as I thought a fair transaction was the likely outcome rather than fine print outcomes. I ended up spending a day sorting and stacking this metal on my front lawn for free pickup which was a nuisance. I had a few choice words with the manager and left it at that. A month on I realised I hadn't received the Occupation Certificate which I had to chase up over a month period. I now look at my shed and am very happy with the result. The learnings for me would be to read the fine print (which I won't do as I can usually find upfront people to deal with). Perhaps the learning for the shed builder is to be more transparent with the real likely costs (if possible, in a very competitive environment), to make good any damaged materials out of the Clients control, and to clean up after themselves.

Warranty isn't worth the paper it's written on – Don't waste your time and money with Sheds n Homes Hobart. Not only will they supply you with a lemon of a shed, they wont bother with rectifying it unless you nag them endlessly and even then, they wont honour their "no questions asked" warranty. generic instructions for all their sheds to save them money. You will have to deal with missing and or damaged parts and you will even get parts for a completely different shed that will not fit the shed you are erecting. You are expected to open all packages to determine that all parts are accounted for and undamaged. The roller door that came with our shed was damaged which was noticed during unpacking and they wont replace it, blaming us for not unpacking the door and checking it at time of delivery. This should be the part of their quality control and not put the onus on a customer. Another thing, make sure the shed is built quickly because if there are issues, and there will be, with delayed building, their warranty will not cover you. They will cover themselves with their terms and conditions only to cover their poor quality control and very substandard customer service. Cannot stress enough, DO NOT DEAL WITH SHEDS N HOMES, go elsewhere.

frustrating. I was eventually was given details of Scott from Sheds n Home Gold Coast and sent on an enquiry. This turned out to be an awesome stroke of luck . Scott has been absolutely amazing with his service and communication. I ordered a A1 Shed Home for owner builder erection for a property in Esk, west of Brisbane. Scott has been absolutely amazing with his service and communications. He walk me through ordering the shed with options of sizes, colours, etc. My constant questions did not seem to trouble him at all. I admit I was nervous when payment was required as the horror stories of late with shed companies has not been great. The transaction was seamless, receipts provided and contact update given. The shed was manufactured and ready for delivery by the quoted date. It was delivered on time and even the delivery drivers were a pleasure to deal with on my boggy property, they were great. There were issues with incorrect fasteners and screws being delivered, I thought this may be a headache as all payments had been made. A quick call to Scott (who actually answers his phone and will returns calls within minutes if unable to answer) the problem was dealt with, sorted and correct fasteners deliver within days. I cannot give Scott enough credit for his caring customer service, even after receiving all payments he did not consider his job completed. I am pleased to say the shed plans provided by Sheds n Homes passed Development Approval through the local council as an A1 Liveable Dwelling. The shed home is still under construction and so far the quality is great and I am extremely happy with it. Scott is an absolute asset to this company and I would recommend him at the Gold Coast Branch of Sheds n Homes a hundred times over.

Not a nice experience – The lady in the office was nice and designed a shed for us on her computer in 10 minutes. Then quoted $12K. We had to pay $500. A day later somebody came to diagnose the land, which he did in 10 minutes. He was in a hurry, because he was going on holidays. We then received an updated quote with an extra $4K, being $16,000. We didn't go ahead (which they knew we wouldn't) We only got $250 back.

Terrible sales – I couldn’t even TRY to purchase. Apparently you can’t buy a garage if you work 5 days a week. They were not willing to even negotiate seeing through a display shed. Terrible phone manner. They lost a 50k sale and I’ll be telling all the people I know building homes not to use this company.

Cheapskate provides low quality product – My garage was built by Kel and his disgruntled staff. They were charming at first, but in fact provided cheap products whenever possible throughout the project. They left with the job incomplete and with items that had to be fixed and replaced at my own cost. Beware the charming cheapskate.

I purchased a relatively small shed from Sheds N Homes Rockhampton but found the quality to be excellent. I had the shed installed in a high wind area (Cat 3 rated) and was concerned the shed may not be of sufficient quality to withstand cyclonic winds etc. When installed I was absolutely delighted with the structure, strength and overall durability of the product. It was delivered August 2022, and we never heard from him again. He closed own his store, and we only found out via qbcc. Sheds n homes ignored us and were no help.
