$50,000 at this point

Since July 2024 to December 2025 (Nearly 18 months) they have done NOTHING... Nothing but excuses and empty promises...

Since October 2025 they have ceased communication - they refuse to answer phone calls or reply to emails. They have ignored the QBCC who are supposed to be overseeing them

They have held our money for our kit for nearly 18 months and not delivered one bolt, nut or washer.

They will delete your social media posts - anything to avoid accountability. The only thing they won't do is build your shed.

If only I had read the negative reviews and gone with literally any shed builder in South East Queensland I wouldn't be in this situation. Save yourself the hassle that I am going through - with no end in sight.

reply. From the time I decide to go with Shed Zone the job went smoothly & the communication from everyone was excellent. I think having a pre existing slab down made the job a little easier. The installers did a great job & I could not be believe how neat & tidy they left the site everyday. The job took a little longer than we anticipated but that was due to the rain delays which could not be helped. All in all a great job done by all & I would have no hesitation in using ShedZone again or recommending them to anyone else.

Shed construction great, admin terrible – As the title states, the end product was fantastic. The builder did a great job. But the communication from admin was terrible. shedzone on it, I was told that it was a verbal conversation that happened at a site visit several months prior. I was made to feel like it was my fault for not paying the concreter for the pump. How could I, when I didnt know the price, nor was I given an invoice?! For future customers, I would strongly encourage you to push for an amended quote after the site visit so you are aware of all fees. We werent told that it would be a multi-day job, (had to call to ask why the shed was half finished and was told the builders had left for the day) which was annoying as we had a dog and worked full time so had to scramble to organise that. For a company that is about shed construction, surely they would know how long it would take to build? Then, once the construction was complete - we were notified that a final inspection was to be completed. Which was fine, but what we werent notified about was how much extra work we needed to do to get final certification. Now we are scrambling trying to install our drain pipes (ourselves!), and organise a water tank/gravel pit before final inspection. Its almost like Shedzone forgets that they have customers who dont know this stuff and isnt just common knowledge? Honestly, probably wont go with them again due to the ongoing issues with lack of communication. But again, the shed itself is good quality.

Cheering – Shedzone were great. Timely response to any queries or questions. Shed builders were absolute legends. Only downside was the weather that's we've been having made delays

Great shed – Start to finish was very long time but that was more due to weather and Covid not Shedzones fault. More Like A No-Go Zone – I regret dealing with this local company. Garage extension was ordered and a deposit paid in early September 2021. he advised us that he could not proceed because Shed Zone had not provided specifications/measurements for post supports.

Materials were delivered before Christmas and sat for months without work starting. (Most part were labelled Stratco.) Result of delay was dead lawn and stained roof and side sheets due to weathering/exposure while horizontal.. Several dates given for job to start, but never eventuated. Received invoice for build, except it was an already paid concrete invoice. Reception not polite about mistake being advised and need to rectify.

Roller doors were not delivered for build. Advised Shed Zone of this and they said they were on site. Lively discussion ensued about them “disappearing”. Roller doors were delivered at 6 o’clock next morning. After umpteenth advice of build date and I simply said, “I’ll believe it when I see it.” Consequence – further delays. The never ending story! Date again promised and builder delays start because, “One of my workers has f***ed off.” (He/she was probably treated like a client.)

Build finally done, but electronic roller door motors not installed. Contacted Shed Zone and they accused me of stealing them. Another blame game, before builder returns with motors and installs them after another delay, but does not hand remotes to our daughter who was home. I was required to visit Shed Zone office, to be accused of not making final payment. I provided details from my phone and I had to wait while they checked. A minion eventually came back to counter and handed me the remotes – no apology, no explanation.

There is nothing positive I can say about this company and in hindsight, there no reward in dealing with this nearby business. Never again.

Be Patient , its worth the wait – Shedzone managed the build of our 15 by 15 metre American Barn , from start to finish . It took longer than expected , but a custom engineered shed , isnt a slap together mass produced kit . The finished product will be your pride n joy , and your mates will be in awe . Shedzone was faultless and even when i did have a material that was misplaced in transit it was organised for redelivery the following day of notification. Glad i decided to build through Shedzone and would recomend them to anyone.

Worst Company, best workers and Lies – We went with Shedzone thinking we were supporting a “local” company. Imagine our surprise when a Stratco shed was delivered.
