idea to build out the frames a little in the older part of the house to ensure there would be clearance for the windows. The attention to detail that Bani showed compared to other vendors that came to quote was what sold me on Sheer Elegance coupled with his products. When the Blinds arrived, they were installed the very next day and Bani even came to check whether there were any issues and ensure that the blinds were being installed per his expectation. Our house has been transformed and Sheer Elegance has been wonderful throughout the whole process. I couldn't recommend John and Bani highly enough - they do what they say they are going to do and they do it well. You won't be disappointed.

The blinds were manufactured and installed in a shorter timeframe than they had advised, and the product quality (Norman Shutters) is top notch. One of the panels had been damaged in transit - a very small dent which I would not have picked up. Bani informed me of the dent, and suggested that I withhold $1,000 in payment until they had manufactured and installed a replacement. Given that reviews of many companies which provide and install plantation shutters often mention extremely poor customer service once an order has been taken, I felt that this was quite exceptional.

Our house is also reasonably old (built in the 60s) and many of the window frames were not square. However, Richard’s (their measurer/installer) measurements were spot on and all but two shutters/frames fit neatly. The two frames that didn’t had very slight gaps in a corner (as the windows were clearly not square), but these were sealed with a sealant and are not noticeable.

We are extremely happy with the shutters - they have transformed our house and it now feels brighter and much more modern.

Overall I found the experience of dealing with Bani and his team to be very efficient and professional. They communicated regularly and turned up when they said they would. I have no hesitation in recommending Sheer Elegance Blinds to others who are considering purchasing plantation shutters.
