Shiny Spaces Cleaning

Absolutely awful experience from start to finish. Avoid this cleaning company at all costs. Their communication is beyond terrible. Once they had my money, they completely ignored me. Both my real estate agent and I tried repeatedly to contact them to explain that the clean was nowhere near the standard of an end-of-lease clean, and we were met with total silence. No replies to phone calls. No replies to emails. Nothing.

They charged $400, yet my neighbour confirmed they were only at the property for about an hour and a half to “clean” an entire three-bedroom house. Unsurprisingly, the place was left unfinished. The inside windows were not touched at all — still covered in marks and grime. The exhaust fan wasn’t cleaned either, which directly contradicts the services they advertise all over their website.

Speaking of their website, they also claim they do follow-ups and guarantee checks to ensure customer satisfaction. That is a complete load of rubbish. Once there’s a problem, they disappear and refuse to engage.

If you actually want a proper clean done — especially for an end-of-lease — do not book this company. I would never, ever, ever use them again.
