Shower happy – Pete and Mike are top-notch blokes who delivered a top-notch service. They were communicative and informative. They offered a competitive price and were as speedy as ever. If you're looking for a shower screen, I couldn't recommend the Shower Screen Hotline enough.
Unprofessional. It leaked when installed and after call back still leaks. Unable to issue a real Tax Receipt – The owner provided a quote and installed an above bath shower screen for $748. It was installed quickly. A generic invoice/receipt was provided. (No ABN, No signature, No Company, No Name, No Contacts, Nothing about "supposed" 7yr Warranty) Phoned & SMS the owner multiple times but still no tax receipt provided. leaked terribly but they did came back and almost fixed it. Now it only leaks terribly some times way worse than what I had before. Pretty sure the edge trim was also bent at top during installation. They dont respond to me now. May still report to Tax Office as they are probably avoiding tax by not providing a valid tax invoice. The website indicates a 10mm thick shower screen was to be installed but that did not happen instead a smaller thickness installed. Unprofessional installers and pathetic customer service. The initial installers also took away my old shower screen instead of leaving it. I wander if they reselled it? After the manager read this review prior to release he responded but didn't know who I was even though I gave name and receipt number. His team came back with opriginal installer and they removed and re-installed the new screen. That was about 10 weeks after the initial install. This installation was better but it still leaked like a sieve so I ended up installing some plastic over the gaps and now it isn't leaking but looks unprofessional. Supposedly professionals but keep away from them. The redone receipt is still not professional.

He said he was coming to have a look but within half hour rang and couldn't make it. So we said ok he will call to make another time BUT never heard from him. I kepted ring and leaving messages and Tex but no response. When he finally picked up he argued with me and called me a liar. I would never speak to a person in the manner he spoke to me. From a charmer to a horrible person. No name can describe him if I want to. I let me husband deal with him . We did not appreciated as I explained I've documented everything and I would take the matter to Vcat. He finally got the boys to fix the job. They came about 3 times and where rush and made it worse. It's finally done but would not recommend this company to anyone. Very disappointed in [Name Removed] as the owner that's not how you deal with your customers especially when your boys did a doggy job. They are lucky I'm giving them a 2 star. date comes around (23rd) , no calls and I had to chase [Name Removed] down. All of a sudden, can’t install now.
Despite this being the key reason we used home and the fact it was in his diary…. Oh, don’t expect an invoice either. Plus he shows you a fake text message stating that the guy at the factory has said it can be installed before Xmas.
Of course , for this speedy service you need to pay in full.
So, no shower screen, we ask for a refund and then he claims he could never do before Xmas but will arrange for an installer to do our job at one at Sorrento on Jan the 2nd to help us… claimed he would have someone come off break…..
2nd comes and goes, no call, Nothing. I chase him and request to refund …. He calls and claims he has done his back, not only that he then proceeds to claim he offers great service and that the reviews online are fake.
Disgraceful dishonest person. Lucky we paid via credit card. Attached is what you get when you pay ….

and fittings are good quality. The installers are young and are kept busy with multiple jobs per day. I felt the job was a little rushed and the attention to detail not quite the same as more expensive installers which i have used before. The job isn't bad and I am happy with the result. I would use them again.

comes around, threatened VCAT action and Pete showed up to see what the problem was, admitting it hadn't been installed correctly - Every excuse under the sun, my opinion is that the company needs to stop installing new screens and fix everyone's existing issues. In April I was told he had "between 60 and 70 people calling asking him to fix things" and I was told not to get another company in as it would "void my warranty". If it's not installed properly in the first place, I dare say that "warranty" isn't valid. - Today (by COB) submitting a VCAT claim. Called Pete on an unknown number to let him know and he has claimed there will be someone "out today to fix it". Hasn't given me a who or when. - Please note his business trading name is "BEXTER PTY LTD" trading as Shower Screen Hotline. ACN: 081 875 041; ABN: 18081875041.
My recommendation: don't fall for it, don't use this company just because of the fast turnaround. I've made this mistake and had an unusable shower for over 6 months now (thank goodness I have a second one).
Rip off – I am a builder/renovator and was using Peter for a while, that was until his installers told me about how much over priced Peter really is, I am saving over 400$ per shower screen for the exact same product and material as Peter was supplying the new company has never let me down unlike Peter Please don’t fall for his 44 years experience and 7 year warranty crap look for smaller businesses who do an amazing job for a lower price
“Buyer beware” – Run as fast as you can from “Pete” He won’t answer calls or return text messages. My wife took a day off work to get our shower screen installed he said he’d be onsite at 8am no one turned up and no phone call to say he wasn’t coming. We are trying to sell our house with no shower screen. Terrible the way we’ve been treated. Thanks for nothing Pete.

Great product and service but admin let him down – On the 11 September we requested our invoice to be emailed to us. We have not received the invoice as yet. response was to say go ahead. It was not pleasant. We are happy with the screens and all we wanted was to have the confirmation of the warranty emailed to us. Leaves a bad taste in our mouths. Service should be from start to finish. We did the right thing by Phil from Prolux Shower Screens but it backfired on us. We would never use this company again because of this. I hope other people will learn from our experience.
Awful experience – Simply put, I would not do any business with them again, nor would I ever recommend them to a friend. Have been waiting for weeks for unfinished job to be completed and the invoice to be sent (payment has been made!). If you still want to go ahead, at least take this advice - never, ever pay them cash!

door was not level and balanced and did not complete job and failed to ring me as to why and when he would return. The mess of swarf, dust , rivets and plastic left in the shower recess was unacceptable. 2 guys turned up unannounced the next day removed the door and frame and basically started the installation again ... saying the previous installer was inexperienced and new to this company. This was during the holiday period so I was very pleased that such a service was available at such a busy time. Pete replaced a shower head which gave me a miserable flow and I had to wait for nearly a week to get him to come back. He doesn't seem to think it important to give adequate customer after care because he is so busy and works so hard, so what is his 10 year guarantee worth? He said that he couldn't fix the shower head "that's the way they came" but the tiler said it was no problem. Also we replaced the screen because Pete said the old screen was no longer legal. However, the original installers rang today as they had been on holidays when I called. They informed me this was not the case and they still sold those screens. Great service - quick, professional and painless! – I needed my shower screen replaced and I contacted Shower Screen Hotline. Their service was prompt and now I have a nice new shower screen 3 days later! Quick, simple, helpful, professional, turned up on time and installed my new screen without any problems.

Terrible Trade and Manner – We had our shower based replaced by a bathroom re-furbished expert. Due to the wall and shower base are not evenly squared, we had the shower screen to be custom-fitted. hours. We had left 48 hours after the screen was installed and had the first shower. After the shower, the screen was gently sprayed down and excess water was removed from the screens.
We had noticed a small pool of water, the size of 20 cent coin was forming on the floor, near the base of the screen's aluminium frame and the bathtub. We had contacted the Director of the company and it took them 5 days to come and look into the fault. They were also late with the appointment.
The Director of the company, Peter Ross, said that spraying down the screen is not normal operation, and left without fixing the problem.
Excuse me... How do you wash the shower screen??
We had contacted our bathroom people and they had said that Peter Ross is unprofessional, and he is totally incorrect.
Our bathroom people said to us that they are happily to come back and fix's Shower Screen Hotline fault, free-of-charge.

as I would not let them back into my house. They were very unprofessional and unreliable. A very costly exercise for my family, I would never recommend this company, plenty other companies that can do the job.
Shower screens replacement – We rang the company about the job and peter returned our call and arranged a site inspection. That was on saturday and after measuring and pricing the work we accepted,48 hrs later the 2 old screens were removed and replaced.VERY HAPPY with job.. Bob.

Terrible – This company has just been problem after problem. After completing installation, I paid and saw the workers out trusting they had done a good job. This was my mistake. When I headed back inside I found two gouges in the plaster on our freshly painted walls directly next to the shower screen. I immediately contacted the company and [name removed]… Read more
assured me he would cover the cost of damages.
I then got the walls patched and repainted, again assuming they would actually come good on their promise to compensate the cost of repairs for damages they caused.
After multiple calls and texts (then calls from private numbers so they would actually answer) 4 months have passed no such payment has been received.
If that wasn’t enough, the seal in the door cracked within the first couple of months. I sent pictures only to be told “that’s a different screen”. Are you kidding me?
Faulty products, damages caused during installation and terrible customer service. Could not advise against this company any more.
Excellent Customer service – Called Peter on a Sunday for a measure/quote, with him arriving later that same day. Extremely helpful and very reasonably priced. Quality of product and work couldn't be faulted. Highly recommend.
Great customer service – From the first phone the company has been fantastic. Came out after hours to do a measure and quote, and when I changed my mind about what I wanted to do Peter came out on a Sunday to remeasure. The boys who came to fit the screen were polite and did a great job, when I called back re a small leak they were straight out and fixed it.
