appointment due to sickness. No empathy, no flexibility, no accountability, none… When I brought up that the sms reminder was sent out 24hrs and not 48 hrs before my appointment, they treated me like I am a lier. I had my communication history in my phone and asked the manager to have a look but she didn’t bother to make any effort to answer my questions as to why there are discrepancies. Rather she threatened me that I should leave or she call the security which then I left. She also belittled me in front of staff and customers that I am disrespectful just because I missed my appointment (remind you I was really sick). What a joke of the company and customer service is this? Never ever again!

They’ll take your prepaid package without care! Happened to me twice. I have PCOS, so my period isn’t always predictable, and both times it fell right on my scheduled day. I explained it, but they didn’t care and still took my package. Zero empathy for customers. Wouldn’t recommend.

Thursday morning, I called them. The staff were very good at communicating and eager to make more business. I requested a consultation for that morning, and they agreed. They even mentioned that I could undergo treatment the same day, which I was happy about since it would save me time.

I arrived at the clinic at 11:10 am on Thursday. Before the consultation, I had to enter a lot of information into an iPad, most of which seemed irrelevant. I was finally taken to the treatment room around 11:40 am. After taking photos of my face, the staff member decided on a treatment plan for me, which included diamond microdermabrasion followed by exfoliation and LED treatment, each to be done in 3 sessions. The price was also provided, and I was initially pleased. (Please refer to the image of the recommended treatment plan and price.)

As I was lying down, ready for the treatment, I noticed that they had already prepared some products, including a purifying cleanser, hyaluronic acid, enzyme peel-off, Vitamin B serum, Pre-juvenation DNA oil, and sunscreen from the Aesthetics brand. Suddenly, the staff member informed me that she had “customized” my treatment, which would cost $98.40 instead of $89.40. I assumed they had added something extra to the diamond microdermabrasion, so I agreed. (Please refer to the second image, which is the invoice showing what they actually did.)

The process started at 12:10 pm, and I could feel her applying a few products to my face, but only for a few minutes. There was no proper massage, and everything was finished in just 15 minutes. To my shock, they applied a lot of sunscreen at the end, and that was it. The products used were clearly pre-prepared before my consultation, nothing was customized as they claimed.

The actual treatment cost was double, but I received a 50% discount due to a birthday sale, so I paid $98.40. I paid $100 in cash, but after receiving the money, the staff member disappeared without giving me the $1.60 change. I waited another 10 minutes and had to ask for the invoice. When she finally gave it to me, she didn’t return the balance. It was clear they were only interested in the money and didn’t care about customer satisfaction once they got paid.

I was very disappointed because I expected a professional treatment that I couldn’t do at home, but it felt like they just applied some products quickly without any real care. I should have just bought some products to use at home because they did the same thing—or even donated the money to charity instead of giving it to this clinic. Most importantly, they recommended one thing and did something else, claiming it was “similar.” Microdermabrasion uses a device with a diamond-tipped wand to gently exfoliate the outer layer of the skin. The diamond tip abrades the skin, while a vacuum removes dead skin cells. After the process, I could see that the blackheads were still there. When I asked why they didn’t do the microdermabrasion, they said they didn’t have enough time to do the procedure since I came in on the same day. This was frustrating because I had asked both over the phone and in the clinic if I could receive the treatment that day, and they assured me I could. The staff even mentioned that they worked very late that day. I feel cheated by the whole experience.

Please, save your money and time. The service is not worth it. They didn’t even give me my balance amount. Thank you for reading and for being cautious about where you choose to get your treatments.

Pathetic service – I had a horrible experience with Silk Clinic @Brookside Mitchelton. The customer service is terrible and always forced to buy their products even if you have them. DO NOT go for their "Free" first time consultation in which they will lure you buy their overpriced skin care treatments and products. I had no change even after taking around 6 of their various treatments.

They dont have any number for Complaints – Been there a few times. Their treatment ok. But the nurse who did the injection was so unfriendly and grumpy. What am so angry about them is that they charge you $50 consultation fee which they say its refundable when you do or dont do the procedure. a few times on each occasion and they told me the manager not at the shop and will back to me on the phone. She never did, I called their shop a few times again om each occasion and the manager again didnt get back to me. Finally I could talk to her and she told me I only can get my refund when she is in shop which are the days I am at work, or fill out a form, sign, scan and email it to them. I basically dont have time for this much crap, just want to be able to get my money back in a very normal way. There is no client support contact either. And this happened for the second time, and each time I noticed they didnt deduct the consultation fee from the procedure cost and its not error, its on purpose. If I didnt notice that for each occasion I would never get my money refunded into my account automatically. Such a fraud! This was my last procedure with them for sure.

The receptionists are really rude. They sell vouchers as if they’re a good offer, but I recommend not buying any. Once you buy one, you're stuck with it — there's no flexibility to change or reschedule. On top of that, they assign junior operators, which makes the experience even worse.

knocking on the window I was received by a lady who was rude and told me the therapist was not there to see me and she couldn't find my appointment even though I had the clinic's reminder and confirmation in writing. I was very upset since I had to cancel my work commitment only to come for nothing so I asked for a refund for the remaining sessions I paid in advance as I lost trust in the clinic. The lady asked me to leave as she was busy with a client and would not address my refund request. I insisted many times until she said she could not process a refund and this was through head office. I asked for head office's phone number and she refuse to give it to me. They are rude, disrespectful, unprofessional and disorganised. They had zero problems that I was sent a reminder for an appointment that they had no one to honour and that I lost my time going there for nothing. No empathy, no accountability, nothing. I would not leave this review if I had received the refund as I have requested but even this I was ignored and now I will have to escalate and potentially go through fare trade to get my money back. I highly discourage you go to Silk Laser Clinics Bondi Junction.

where the clinic is located. On the day of my appointment, I was delayed by a maximum of five minutes due to parking difficulties. When I arrived, Tyla, the staff at reception, rudely informed me that my appointment had been cancelled. Despite my efforts to explain the situation, she refused to listen and kept shutting me down in a dismissive and unprofessional manner. I calmly pointed out that I have always been punctual for previous appointments and often had to wait 15-20 minutes each time to be seen. I asked why such a minor delay justified cancelling my appointment, but Tyla refused to accommodate or even acknowledge my concerns. She rudely offered me the last appointment of the day at 8 PM, which was completely impractical for me as I have a one-year-old child who goes to bed by that time. Feeling dismissed and insulted, I left the clinic in tears. Upset, I shared the incident with my husband, who accompanied me back to the clinic to seek clarification. Instead of resolving the matter, Tyla called security on us when my husband raised his voice out of frustration. To add insult to injury, she laughed at us while we were humiliated in front of others. Her behaviour was shocking, disrespectful, and completely unprofessional. As a result, I cancelled my appointment because I no longer felt safe or confident in the service I would receive. The trauma caused by this experience has been so severe that I now avoid going to the same mall altogether. Three days later, someone from management contacted me to discuss the incident. However, they mirrored Tyla’s dismissive behaviour, refused to listen to my concerns, and ended the call abruptly without offering any resolution. Adding to my frustration, I have seen no results from the six laser hair removal sessions I’ve completed. There has been no noticeable reduction in hair, making this entire ordeal even more upsetting and a waste of time and money. After further research, I discovered many similar complaints about Tyla’s behaviour, yet no action has been taken. This demonstrates a shocking lack of accountability and care for customers. I am now seeking legal advice and will be raising this matter with the ACCC (Australian Competition and Consumer Commission) for the unacceptable treatment, lack of service delivery, and emotional trauma caused by Silk Laser Clinics. I strongly urge others to avoid Silk Laser Clinics. Their customer service is absolutely appalling, their management is dismissive, and their treatment results are non-existent. This has been one of the most humiliating and distressing experiences of my life, and I feel compelled to warn others about Silk Laser Clinics.

but with the hat and SPF 50 and she told me that is considered sun exposure. She said even if you are are under the tent, you have hat and the SPF 50, anything longer that 10 minutes, the treatment os forgone.

The second treatment was stolen from me, because I was 15 minutes late, since ther was a trafic jam due to Everest Rasing Day. Apparently they could not spare 2 minutes to do the treatment.

I asked to the refund of remaining three treatments however the manager refused, reffering me to their website to read the policies ect on the top of talking and arguing that I am the problem. I wasted a few trips plus time with the manager.

Don't go there, staff is rude. I don't want to say fraud, but I prepaid for 5 treatments with Eden and had none and they refused to refud the last three. They did offer I go to a clinic 10km from my home or to give me a product I don't need.

Micro needling sessions x4 – I purchased 4 micro needling sessions at half price during a sale last year. I paid for a mask immediately after the treatment. I was red for a few days and had some light grazes. For my 3 subsequent visits, recovery time was less than 12 hours - no redness even though the needles were deeper. difference in my 46 year old skin. Blemishes and redness were reduced if not gone. My skin feels plumper and healthier too. I’m happy with the results and plan to continue this treatment every 6 months or so. I did notice that they have increased the price of neck treatments in the past 6 months or so. I think it’s too steep. So for my last treatment I didn’t bother with the neck. I do always have a mask immediately afterwards, I’m convinced this plays a part in speeding up recovery and reducing discomfort.
