after each feed and, despite feeling some pain post-feed reminiscent of blisters emerging, I've not had any blisters for 3 weeks now. I've trialed the cups both with and without the o-feel ring on and would highly recommend the o-feel. Despite their hefty price and them making cleaning more fiddly and time consuming, it definitely makes the cups more comfortable and helps them to stay in place, particularly if you like to wear a slightly looser nursing cami to sleep in, rather than a bra. Absolute lifesaver – These saved my nipples. Bub had ruined them before I left hospital - they were cracked and bleeding, and sticking to my nursing pads. These were a life saver! – Feeding my 2nd babe had me end up with multiple bouts of mastitis and just very sore nipples for months, the only thing that gave me some relief were these silverette cups. Fixed my cracked nipples – My baby has lips which don't allow a proper attachment so I get cracked nipples. Holding my baby or tight clothes would make it worse. Also, you can't wear them in public unless it's winter because they show too much.

Saved me from pain and infection – I decided to use this product as I had a terrible experience with infection last baby I breast fed. I’m so pleased I did. They kept my nipples moisturised and free of infection. They are comfortable and protective. Worth it! – These definitely made the healing process a lot quicker when cracking started. They offered a long cool relief that gel discs couldn't. Plus offered protection against any pressure from clothes etc that would cause irritation between feeds. fast. The only downside is that they are too noticeable to wear in public but that was fine really. Hopefully my next breastfeeding journey will be far easier, but I am glad that I now have these to help me. It is however important to consult with a lactation consultant if you have damaged nipples. This will ensure all possible compounding issues are addressed and that you can go on to become a happy breastfeeding mummy.

mostly used them at night, or round the home in the early days of Breast feeding, you can't really wear them out, they poke out too much. A midwife who saw I had these was very interested as she had heard of them, but not seen them. I can only hope they work for other mums as well as me.
