Family owned and run will always get my support- you can feel the friendly vibes the minutes you engage them, had Mark out to do a service call and he had an apprentice with him. Assisted and talked us throught repairs needed and we ended up going with a new unit. Install lead time was around 6 weeks but it wasnt hot, we were happy to wait and it was worth the wait., Install team on time and delivery great, we'd highly reccommend.

exact price on removing and installing a new Mitsubishi fully ducted airconditioner.

After Brett inspected my current system he told me that it was probably just too small for the house and recommended a slightly larger system. I'm glad I took his advice because the new system works like a charm. In fact my wife keeps telling me to turn up the temp as it gets really cold. The system is quiet both inside and outside.

I have to say that the team that fitted the airconditioner were very polite, quick and cleaned up after they finished the job. A big thanks to southern installers & I will recommend Simmonds Heating & cooling to my family and friends when they need the professionals. Keep up the great work and you have one happy customer here. P.S the quote they gave me was more than competitive.

Excellent professional installers – Simmonds came out here today to install a 18kw Mitsubishi ducted reverse cycle. They were professional, highly knowledgeable and did an excellent job - we are very happy. PS Almost a year later, during the first prolonged period of hot weather the new airconditioner repetitively tripped the circuit breaker as it was drawing too much current… Read more

(amps) beyond the breakers installed load. After 10 days Simmonds replaced the circuit breaker from a 32amp breaker to a 40 amp. Whilst disappointingly it took so long to remedy the installation error, I think the problem is rectified and the airconditioner will not trip during future periods of prolonged hot weather. I would continue to recommend Simmonds for your AC requirements.

Josh came out and looked at the site prior to installation and provided some helpful advice about the most appropriate position for the return duct, vents etc. The team of 5 installers, Toby, Ash, Taylor, Luke and Tom were courteous, tidy and removed all the packaging and debris as well as completing the installation in about 4 hours. Toby was particularly helpful in explaining how the control panel worked, how we should run the system so it operates efficiently and what needs to be cleaned on a regular basis to ensure optimal running. There were a couple of minor issues but they were quickly resolved with a phone call. All in all a very professional service, completed on time and at a very competitive price.

Adelaide Air Conditioning Experts – Simmonds serviced my ducted air conditioning and they were the first people in 10 years to point out that the outside air flow wasn't working properly. Fixed it and now it works a treat !

I would never use them again – Do not let Thea’s guys near your house installed a faulty unit I had to take 4 days off work with no pay for them to fix the issue took them 2 weeks refused to just replace the unit instead kept getting me to take days off to try to fix it lost $600 in pay could have just paid the extra to get a legitimate company that looks after coustomers. you get from Simmonds is No care about losing wages and wait for it the reply will be it’s out of our controll. I 100% think they just went threw all this so they could charge actron warranty department for all the times they came round. Glad they did not lose money out of this can’t say the same for me. I see with the other 1 star review all they did was blame the guy that put it up goes to show the care factor of this company

Lovely company to deal with – -Elderly mother and I had to arrange from interstate -Trusted workmen, very honest and reliable and great prices for the air conditioner we had replaced. Great to deal directly with the bosses – We had an air conditioner put in in the Western suburbs of Adelaide where there were some logistical issues getting power and removing the bodgey old system. a fairly weird set of electrical circuits which have evolved over time, so I wasn't surprised there were some issues afterwards. The good thing is, though: I could phone up and talk directly with the bosses. The business is still small enough for Mark and Sarah to be across everything that is going on so I just explained the problem and they got someone round at an agreed time to sort it. Try doing that with a big corporate where the left hand frequently doesn't know what the right hand is doing. Would definitely use this crowd again.

the owner until 5 days after the job whilst still waiting to have someone come out to assess the reason why we were left without power and lights in our kitchen since the installation. Receptionists that say they will call you back but you have to continue to call to follow up what’s going on. Even asked me to directly call the electrician because he wasn’t returning their calls. Personally messaged the owner Mark to let him know even though I would have thought we would have been considered for some sort of compensation from the company for lack of appreciation in delay and the service we received, I was happy with the unit itself so therefore was going to pay full price.. I didn’t even get a return reply. No acknowledgement for the lack of respect to even reach out to see what was going on. I wish I saw the other bad reviews and comments regarding the owners customer service before I chose simmonds. I hope no one else gets treated the way we did!

poor after sales service – Air conditioning unit installed early Jan. Unit leaked into ceiling and damaged it. Was told by installer who fixed the leak on 23rd March that Mark would get back to me in 1 to 2 weeks to check it and get it fixed. Never did! These guys know what they are doing. Faultless – The team did a very professional job. I had an older stone home so installing a split system requires care and consideration. I was given great advice by Mark on what would be the best approach to minimise disruption to the stone external facade. The installers were efficient, they cleaned up after their woke was complete and the install looks extremely professional.
