Thieves! Taking money from your account after cancellation of service! – This business are thieves! we cancelled our account with them months ago and they continue to take a monthly fee from our account. Absolutely avoid using them like the plague! When you contact them, they don't reply!

Real Estate companies should absorb the costs not the renters – I rent through Ray White in Victoria. I hate that they have outsourced their payment collection for rent to simple rent and them. Ray White have offloaded their responsibility and we the renters pay extra for this. Real Estate companies should absorb the cost and not pass this onto the renters. $80/year to make your life worse – As if we needed more proof real estate agencies were profoundly incompetent, rather than setting up a direct debit, you get to setup the exact same direct debit by installing an app that steals your data and allows landlords the ability to steal directly from your account, and they charge $80/year for the privilege. Then the login keeps your bank details in full, which I am totally against, and then on top of this they are wanting to charge a transaction fee for a BPAY payment using a standard direct debit…. I will be asking for alternate ways to pay for rent and will never use simple rent again. If you as a real estate company want to use a product like this to make your job easier, don't push the cost of it onto your users, pay for it out of your own operational budget!

If you are a tenent ask for an alternative payment option – Not only is this a very expensive platform to use to pay rent, it is difficult to use and wont process direct debits from all direct debit enabled bank accounts. We are now in a situation where our property mamager prematurely served a breach notice on us and is harrassing us in a disrespectful and abusive manner as a result of using this platform. simplerent is confusing not simple not good – the fee free pay today option keeps putting buttons in that confuse you to try and get you to agree to the scheduled autopay option so they can charge you a fee on top of your rent. The conditions you have to accept to do the fee free payment option is worded to the auto pay option with associated fees - so that when you accidentally click the fees option you'll probably be stuck on it paying fees.

appalling and it shouldnt exist. Who pays an extra 2% (at least) on top of the rent to be able to pay rent? That is insane, that comes to at least 10 AUD every WEEK (at least) on TOP of the normal rent.

Complaint? Go through your agent. Mistake by the system? Go through your agent, after paying ''dishonour fee'' which is a joke, they said its 9 aud but they once charged us 150 AUD on top of our rent. Rent not being taken out?
