Dead at 6 years – My fridge is around 6 years old and is completely dead. Had the compressor changed 6 months ago after it failed, now there seems to be an entirely different problem. I was advised by the repair man not to bother to fix it as it's clearly on its way out. Emailed Electrolux around 2 months ago about a different problem with the fridge but was disappointed to get no reply. Have sent another email today regarding this problem but not holding my breath. Will update this review after/if I get a reply and will let you know the outcome. A fridge should last longer than 6 years. Very disappointing!
It's dead less than 6 years old – The motor is playing up. We changed the fan and still has the problem common with this model. The freezer works but fridge below is not cold enough and food is going off. We will buy a better brand.
