more than I expected but felt mostly the same as a lobe piercing, it was the shock that got my really. I got it with a crystal stud so once again it looks pretty from the get go. The piercer I had was friendly and good at what she was doing, talked me through things, told me how her rook experience was and advice for aftercare. only qualified staff would be allowed to perform piercings. My conch went fine, but things went downhill with the flat. After piercing it, she dropped something during the jewellery insertion, which caused blood to run down my neck and onto my white top. She had to call in a more senior piercer for help, and they ended up re-piercing the same spot twice.
I understand that everyone has to start somewhere, and I appreciated the reassurance and support provided by the senior piercer — but the overall experience left me feeling quite upset and worried about my healing process. Today, my flat piercing is very swollen, throbbing, and tender where my conch feels fine. I know some discomfort is expected, but I wanted to share this feedback given how distressing the process was.
3rd day update Still very red, sore and swollen. Went to clean my flat piercing and there was blood all over the back of the piercing. My whole top of my ear is so sore to touch. Extremely upset that this has happened and worried if this piercing will heal

Hit and miss! – I have spent quite a fair chunk of money on earrings and nose jewellery, and can say its more miss than hit. I loved the nose ring, fell out twice in 2 weeks and lost it, clip was weak. Screw in nose jewellery, blew my nose and fell out. Earrings, some good, some can't tighting and fall out, others tarnished... all I wanted was some pretty jewellery but I can't recommend this place. Waste of money and I really wanted to love it! One came with a loose gem and I messaged them about it just to see if they can send me out a replacement and I got no reply. I went and bought another two because I had no time to wait for a reply I wasn’t getting.. anyways, the new two rocked up and another loose bloody gem! Wth. So that’s $120 for one pair of useable stretchers. When it was meant to be $60! Bloody scammers mate. Stay away.

which was simply to suggest using pliers to remove the ball from the BCR and wearing gloves to ensure a better grip when inserting the jewelry. This response led me to conclude that they are aware of the difficulties inherent in their product. Furthermore, I was unable to obtain a refund for the defective earrings, which is disappointing, given that this was my first time purchasing from this vendor, and I had heard positive reviews.
EDIT: I finally received a refund from them after I talked to the fulfillment team.

Low quality jewellery – Got my seconds done on my ears at a SkinKandy store, bars fell apart within days. Bought new ones from the online store and they fell apart also. I'd reccomend purchasing elsewhere, constantly losing and having to replace jewelry in a fresh piercing really messed with the healing process. Show details
