I followed the aftercare instructions exactly as advised, cleaning morning and night with the recommended NeilMed spray. I’ve gone through three bottles at this point with little improvement. I’ve since switched to cleaning with sea salt in boiled water and am only just starting to see some improvement.
I was told to return to the store to have my ears inspected. After spending an hour travelling there, the employee I spoke with seemed completely disinterested, barely looked at my ears, and simply said “they look fine,” despite there visibly being pus coming from the piercings.
On top of this, it was not clearly advertised that nickel-free jewellery comes at an additional cost on top of the piercing price, which I found misleading.
Had I known all of this beforehand, I would have chosen to pierce my ears with a gun, as I had no issues with my first lobes. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience.

a doctor; whoever there wasn’t any pus; any infection; not swollen; was “fine” just the piercing healed inside my skin! But when I saw the face staff did was unbelievable in a sense that they are not quote fed and prepared at all I felt! This was in the Chatswood store! So had a look online for a proper professional piercer and she took in 1 minute my embedded piercing with no issues at all! Definitely do not recommend Skin Candy! Unprofessional staff and price is the same as a professional piercer! I would not risk with them!
Follow-up · They just replied my email apologising but nothing more than that so not a big deal! I thought they should offer some sort of discount or refund me in some way as I just lost AUD:90 dollars plus 30 as I had to find a professional piercer to remove the embedded one! my piercing was patient and very kind and welcoming. Absolutely wonderful experience. I fell in love with this triple moon piercing months ago and I told her I trusted her to put it where it would look it's best. I believe she did exactly what I asked for. Highly recommend. :)
Follow-up · I told them that I wanted the specific piercing and I was happy for them to choose where it went to showcase it perfectly. And they did exactly that. It's healed nicely and I have had ppl notice and compliment my new crescent moon ear decor. I love it. Will go back next time I need piercing for sure.

Bought "implant grade" titanium earrings. They caused my ears to become irritated, sore and swollen. The are definitely NOT implant grade and likely a cheap mixed alloy. Ordered multiple clear retainers. The Clear Acrylic Curved Barbell Retainer has a piece missing and wont be secure in my eyebrow. The Clear Nose Piercing Retainer with Flexible L Bend is way too small, would barely fit in a 10 year olds nose. Wont go into my nose whatsoever and they dont have any other sizes.
