Arizona Deluxe firm Queen. Has only been slept on for 5 months by one 90kg male. Completely sagged in the middle and lost most of its firmness and original support. Disgraceful product and wouldn’t recommend this brand or mattress to anyone. Show details

Regretting purchase – I purchased this mattress from Harvey Norman in July 21 for my new house but it’s sagged terribly & offers very little support, neither of us sleep well on it & as soon as one of us moves you feel it. We rotate it regularly as advised but it makes no difference, I was going to buy a King Koil but was convinced that the Sleepmaker was a much… Read more

Like others, this mattress is beyond bad. I am 59 kg and husband 72kg and it began sagging within 6 months. We rotated regularly. I now have hip and back pain and cannot sleep comfortably. The mattress has dipped so severely that the bottom has curved up and we lye in our ‘ditch’ all night without the ability to move about. Sleepmaker and The… Read more

Love this mattress – We haven't had it for long so I can't comment on longevity, however I can confirm that this is the best mattress we've ever had. We had a mattress in a box for a period of time before this and we both developed back pain in our mid 20's! The sleepmaker is supportive, comfortable and has minimal partner disturbance as the springs work indepen6of one another. We love it. Show details ·  1

Mattress Is dipping and robs you of a good night’s sleep – If you are considering this mattress, then please read this warning. This mattress will start dipping considerably within a short time. Your sleep will be affected and you will never wake up refreshed - you will also have the added bonus of hip, shoulder and back pain. You will then fork out a fortune on osteopathy, physio and remedial massage. If… Read more

overpaying for low quality and being a constant grouch due to lack of sleep is your thing, then go right ahead. I would be surprised if Sleepmaker can prove me wrong with a better product.

Best mattress – After our last mattress being a latex cushion top which was so hot, Love the cooling top. Ours is on a slatted base. I think the base is important as well. Very comfortable. No sag. Still looks and feels like new after 15 months. Show details

Extremely disappointed – Extremely Disappointed case number-00015149 SleepMaker Must Take Responsibility I would not even give 1 star but it was required for this review. I am writing this review because the level of dissatisfaction among your customers, including myself, is overwhelming. I purchased a SleepMaker mattress expecting a high-quality product, but it has… Read more

been a massive disappointment. Despite not being a heavy individual and following all recommended care guidelines, the mattress has sagged significantly, causing me chronic back pain and making it difficult to perform my job.

This was not a cheap purchase, and I feel completely let down by both the product and your customer service. I contacted SleepMaker regarding the issues and followed your protocols, including sending photos to demonstrate the sagging. However, I was told the pictures didn’t meet the criteria for warranty coverage. For an additional $200+, I was required to send the mattress in for inspection, which I did.

After weeks of waiting, the mattress was returned with an email stating no faults were found. As a “goodwill gesture,” the topper or springs were adjusted (as vaguely described in your email), and the case was declared closed. To dispute this decision, I would have had to restart the lengthy and frustrating claims process, which I simply couldn’t afford to pursue at the time.

It’s clear from numerous reviews that many other customers have experienced the same issues. This is not an isolated case—it’s a pattern of poor-quality products and dismissive customer service. For a company of your size, it’s unacceptable to refuse accountability for a clearly faulty product.

SleepMaker, you need to step up and provide real solutions. I expect a full refund or replacement for my mattress, and I urge you to compensate others who have suffered similar issues. If this matter is not resolved, I will consider legal action for the disability caused by your defective product.

You must do better—for me and for the countless others who trusted your brand. I expect a detailed response addressing this matter within 7 days. Failure to respond or provide a satisfactory resolution will leave me no choice but to escalate this issue further.

sagging and a spring poking through into my partners side/back when sleeping. Can only turn it 180 degrees, which has only made more sagging. I probably get maybe 2 hours sleep on it, the pain is unbearable. Do not buy it. Waste of money.. Never will I buy from this manufacturer again! I am now sleeping on my couch until I can afford to buy another mattress. Not worth the pain and living on pain relief sleeping on it!!

Dreadful – This mattress should be taken off the market in my opinion. It’s dreadfully uncomfortable for many of the same reasons stated below by others - I relate to many, there seems to be a pattern for all i.e. back/neck pain and sagging. I wish I had of read the reviews prior to purchasing this awful mattress. Show details

Unbelievable hip & back pain – Purchased this mattress from Harvey Norman last year and we didn’t use it very often until last month that I moved in with my fiancé . My fiancé used to complain about back pain and now we are waking up every morning with back pain. My hips are so sore that I started to think that I have internal organ issues and got tested for it. I hate this mattress and is there any way I can return or exchange it? Show details

Worse mattress and manufacturer support – Worse mattress. Within 3 months of purchasing or started to sag. The company offered little support and respond with it was the body contouring. I think this is their way of reducing returns by limiting the service offering to customers. Unfortunately i don’t have the patience to deal with a company that doesn’t support customer so I made the decision to buy another mattress and cut my loses.

I will never buy a Sleepmaker mattress or product again and will ensure my friends are aware of my experience so they don’t fall into the same trap I did of buying rubbish.

Terrible – Bought for over $2000 in Harvey Norman (on sale). Went OK for a few months then body imprints became an issue. Have a very noticeable 'hump' down the middle of the bed. Only able to rotate mattress 180 degrees so doesn't change pressure points on mattress. Had for now just 2 years and considering a replacement. Wished I had searched reviews before buying - will never purchase from this brand again. Show details

Buyer Beware-Disappointing – 10 year SleepMaker Warranty is not worth the paper it’s written on- does not cover “body impressions & dipping”, even within a short period of time. weight & needs. Being in our mid to late 60’s, my husband & I have slept on many mattresses over our lifetime. Despite purchasing this mattress/ensemble in 2019 we travel extensively, having not utilised it for over 7 months during 2020. First 6mths, relatively comfortable, would have written a glowing Review- followed instructions re: rotation, airing etc, but sadly within 12 months, body indentations/ contouring either side of mattress accentuate the central ridge in the mattress making a restful nights sleep difficult. Rotating the mattress as advised means I sleep in a deeper indentation given my husband weighs more than me! Having followed up issues with Harvey Norman Customer Service Rep, supplying requested photos etc, I’m now dealing with SleepMaker Warranty Team (Australian Comfort Group Pty Ltd) via email. To have the mattress assessed, charges include:- $50 for inspection, & $50 collection & $50 redelivery paid up front & also, need to supply a receipt for professional cleaning prior! Reimbursed only if manufacturing fault found, which is highly unlikely, given the way the Warranty is written as it does not cover “body impressions and dipping”. I am awaiting a response, having requested the ability to speak in person with a Warranty Team Rep to clarify matters prior to proceeding with my Claim. Given the higher price range & glowing reviews/product information including SleepMaker Rep recommendations, I am disappointed with this purchase & feel it is a manufacturing/structural issue.

6months of wear – The mattress was very comfortable when we purchased it 6 months ago and it still is a comfortable mattress to sleep on. My issue with this mattress is that after only 6months it's sagging on either side of the mattress where my wife and I sleep. I weigh 76kg and my wife 46kg, we are not heavy people and this should not be happening to a premium mattress at 6months old. Unfortunately the 10year warranty does not cover this. Very disappointed! Show details

Comfortable – This mattress was very comfortable in store, noticeably superior to most others we tried. immediately comfortable. There was no breaking in period which was lovely. Also zero partner disturbance.

We were looking specifically for med-firm latex pillowtop to replace our 10+ yr old one but at mattress stores in the area they all told us they don’t sell them anymore. We wanted to avoid memory foam as we were both sure it would be too hot but we were told that we were mistaken and it was latex that was hot. This memory foam has a special graphene cooling gel to regulate body temperature. We were assured it would be superior. Well, the first night we were immediately much hotter and can feel the heat under us. We had to buy a thick mattress protector to make a barrier. After using it almost 3 months it is the middle of Winter in the Adelaide Hills and this mattress is still so hot we are both sweating at night, even in a very cold house without heating on. I used to use 2x quilts and 2x wheat bags every Winter, now with just one quilt I’m hot.

This mattress is very comfortable and good quality but somewhat regret not searching further afield for latex. You will need deep fitted sheets (40cm) to fit this thick mattress.

Like sleeping on a cloud! – We just purchased the Sleepmaker Arizona Deluxe PLUSH king size for a reasonable price of $2,000. absolutely lovely to lie on and the pressure points I felt in the other beds (except for the high end Tempur) we tried, disappeared. After lying on the bed for around 15 - 20 mins I came off absolutely relaxed. Being a king, didn’t feel my partner at all! We are lightweight anyway.

So in terms of value for the money, I don’t think I can go past this! Sleep maker have excellent foam technology so we are pretty happy and confident with our purchase.

Furthermore it’s Australian made and I don’t have to worry about trialling a bed purchased on line and having the hassle of returning it.
