and progressively got worse. It started impacting my back again. We tried to rotate it but it was worse as my husband's side was considerably sunken like a ditch. Six years on, it is unusable........ And the verdict from the Warranty team is that 'it is normal wear and tear and the warranty does not apply'. After much to-ing and fro-ing where I was being referred to measure between the base slats and check for mould (never mentioned anything about mould or slats). I was told they would be charging me to take away the mattress to check the cause of the "ditches in the mattress" and I refused to pay. They did end up taking it away and replaced the layers after much angst. Please don't make the mistake of buying this bed range. It is not worth the stress, the quality is not what they claim, and the warranty is not honoured unless you are prepared to put up a fight.

Not good – Nightmare. Mattress failed in weeks. Has a depression that you can't move away from as it's downhill to the centre of it and drags you into it. Sleepmaker spent months helping. x 45mm pine lengths on an ensemble base. I then bought a new base and they blamed it on that. Made no sense. They could have blamed it on the light switch. Bottom line is they know the game. Fair trading can't help. No return of money. Just stopped returning any communication and I'm stuck with the faulty mattress. By the way sleepmaker don't refund you. They just run you around and try to wear you out. The refund has to come from the store, and is at the store owners discretion. You will be dealing with two teams of professionals. Sleepmaker has a whole department dedicated to warranty claims. You wont be getting anything back, just losing time until you realize.

A sound flexible option – We purchased two long single mattresses with a fitted zip and bases to match. These zip together to make a king bed and can be separated into two singles when the grandchildren visit. Life changing – We thought our old mattress was pretty good until we found this one!! So comfortable, and made with all these materials we didn’t know we needed. Absolute highlight is the ‘KülKōte’ which is incredible for my husband who gets so hot when he sleeps. Show details

IF you're looking for a firm mattress this, is it – I wanted a firm mattress, and this from there Miracoli range fits the bill. Slipped like a baby and got up like a sixteen-year-old. Comfort and durability intertwine how good is that

Do not buy – Purchased on the assurance of the sales person that the springs will last at least 20 years. I am a heavy person and the mattress was sagging after one month. Might as well of burnt our money. They want photos for warranty etc but there is no point. Get a replacement that lasts a month. Expensive joke

Don't buy this brand if you want something long-lasting – We bought the original mattress in 2012, initially, it was comfortable, supportive and lived up to expectations, however, it didn't last. The next time around, the purchase receipt was misplaced due to moving house, thinking there wasn't much we could do about it we put up with it since the replacement cost was very expensive.

We finally found the receipt when the mattress was 1 year out of warranty, SleepMaker wants nothing to do with it. My only options now are going to NSW Fair Trading or replacing the mattress again.... yes 3(!!!) mattresses within 11 years... Don't believe the guff on their website "The durability of our Miracoil range brings you consistent and even body support through the night, every night without sagging or losing comfort." We are both of average size and weight.

You guessed it, the replacement WILL NOT BE A SLEEPMAKER. NEVER AGAIN.

Woefully inadequate – Bought the Darlington Queen ensemble four years ago and have submitted a claim against the workmanship. The bed has a mound in the middle and my partner and I slide to the sides. We are both of average weight. Do not buy this disappointing bed. Show details
