renovation - it was their first installation of a Soda Tap and they found the process to be fairly straight forward. They were impressed with how easy the filter change will be. It's only been in for a few days, so I can't talk to longevity, but it's working perfectly and much easier than a soda stream!
We liked how when we had trouble we rang the company and they answered the phone, and we fixed the problem in 5 minutes flat. Oh and love the sparkling water on tap!

choices. As almost every other reviewer has stated the pre and post service from Soda Tap is very attentive, email replys to questions weekdays is often within a few hours. The product delivery is swift and reliable with good tracking (once collected by the courier) and the warranty period is better than most large international appliance companies. Installation by my own plumber was surprisingly quick and easy. No more lugging multiple soft drink and mineral water bottles back from the supermarket weekly.
Fantastic – Fantastic product. I have 2 of these units. Don't even consider purchasing the opposition product as I have also had those units with countless problems & not to mention that they are twice the price.

Where things fell apart slightly was with the plumber they arranged for installation. Plumbing Bros Sunshine Coast initially came across brilliantly, with Andrew going out of his way to shuffle his schedule and fit us in before the Easter period, which we genuinely appreciated.
Unfortunately, that goodwill didn’t last long. Upon arrival, he took issue with there being no pre-drilled hole in the sink which, frankly, is a strange expectation given most sinks don’t come with a spare hole ready to go “just in case” you might want to add another tap down the track. He advised he would need to drill one and charge extra.
We advised that this was clearly included in the package (with only stone benchtops attracting an additional fee). Unfortunately, his response was dismissive and unprofessional, even going as far as waving the drill around while reluctantly agreeing not to charge. From that point on, his attitude noticeably shifted and made what should have been a straightforward install feel unnecessarily tense and uncomfortable.
While this reflects poorly on the installer, it’s not entirely separate from Soda Tap’s overall service, as they are the ones who engaged and recommended the contractor. There does need to be some accountability there, whether that’s in better vetting, clearer communication, or ensuring installers fully understand what is included in the packages they’re representing.
That said, Soda Tap Australia themselves were excellent throughout, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them. If there were a 4.5-star option, that’s probably where this lands, but 4 stars doesn’t feel fair given how strong everything else was.

No more worrying about whether the last half of the bottle in the fridge will go flat, or who's going to fill it up. We've got our fridge space back!
If you only want half a glass, it's there, literally "on tap".
We were worried if it would be fizzy enough, but after it settled in, we actually dialed it back.
My only regret now is why I waited 3 months to make the best decision ever.
My 5 in 1 tap looks great on the bench. It's actually nice to have filtered water both ambient and chilled. Absolutely love the bubbles! The customer service was great (pre and post purchase). And my plumber was blown away at how easy the tap was to install. The only downside is the amount of space it takes up under the sink. But it's worth it. Show reply
Best purchase we've made for our home! Absolutely love our 5 in 1 Soda Tap! I'd been eyeing it off for the better part of a year, constantly adding it to my cart and then backing out. top of a brilliant product, the service is second to none. We had a couple of minor manufacturing issues, and Dan was fantastic. He responded straight away and came out to fix them personally. It's been working perfectly ever since. Couldn't recommend it more highly!

Incredible product- from purchase to delivery to installation, it was a breeze. I absolutely love the tap. I hqv have cold/filter/sparkling. I replaced a very old filter tap. Only tip, make sure you have correct tap hole size and check your benchtop. Installation guty couldn’t put hole in our stone benchtop so needed a plumber to do this . I use sparkling constantly. Great value and great product. A suggestion, Sodatap should have a list Of home brew suppliers who can replace canisters aus wide
We purchased our Sodatap and had issues with it leaking in the filter house from day one, it has been an intermittent issue and now after 3 months it has stopped working altogether, we have had communication with Dan from Sodatap, he had responded to my emails well, but the issue was ongoing
Love my SodaTap – Love my SodaTap. Say goodbye to the nuisance of running around getting replacement filters & gas required for the typical countertop units. Dan at SodaTap provided stellar service, rapidly responding to delivery & installation issues. He went above & beyond to get a positive outcome.
So far so good on the 5 in 1 – The big question in my mind is whether it will still work several years down the track. But can’t fault the experience to date and happy with the purchase.

water is delicious. One added benefit is that the 5 in 1 tap does not include boiled water - spot on observation that this isn’t ideal for families with young children. I am happy to boil the kettle for a cuppa but know that my son won’t accidentally burn himself when he washes his hands. A really great innovation with great intel of customer needs!
Excellent 5-in-1 chilled/sparkling/filtered water dispenser – Bought the 5-in-1 about 5 months ago and it works perfectly. Drinking a lot more water now, and having the large CO2 canister eliminates the need of constantly filling up Sodastream containers that rarely give consistent bubbles. No need to spend thousands more on Zip etc.
Great service great product – I purchased my soda about a month ago and couldn't be happier with my soda tap. I had a small problem with the tap (which worked out to be my fault as I didn't run the water through the system enough) Soda tap Australia emailed me straight away and sorted the non-issue out. I have never drunk so much water in my life due to the convenance of the soda tap. system.

Soda Tap Australia 3 in1 System – I Found this company an absolute pleasure to deal with, great customer service. Dan returned my call promptly, answered all of the questions I had and dispatched my purchase quickly. I am Very happy with their service and their product.
Why did it take me so long to get this? – The quality of the 5 in 1 tap is fantastic, black looks very high end and is well made. Quality is carried through to the under bench chiller which is smaller and quieter then the zip units I've had before. instead chilled as you pour, which in our summer means the second, third and fourth water bottle is a little warmer than the first. But this is preferable to tank systems used in fridges and under bench systems like zip. Whilst a zip system will give you colder water for the second bottle, as soon as the zip tank is empty you get warm water unless you leave it an hour. Our experience is that the sodatap can easily fill a family of 4 water bottles with nice cool water, whilst a tank system always leaves 2 with ambient water.
The tank is used for the sparkling water, which took us a few tweaks to get the right level of carbonation (too little at first). The gas can make the tap splutter when pouring which just takes getting used to. Running some ambient water after you've poured clears the pressure in the lines nicely.
Finally, surprised that the heat emitted from the condenser unit is much less than feared. Basic ventilation in the cupboard has been fine for us. Our zip system, and our ice maker, emitted much more heat.
Don't hesitate to get one. Much better value than zip tap, much more stylish too. And Aussie! Support local when deserved.
Works well and super easy installation – Installation instructions are easy to follow - if you can push a plastic pipe into a hole you can pretty well install this yourself. We rely on tank water and a domestic water pump for our house so water pressure is much lower than mains connected homes but the unit still works without any issues. This is sooo sooo good – I love my soda tap. I drink a lot of soda water and would recommend this product to anyone who loves any type of water. Chilled, Filtered or bubbly. We absolutely love it and it looks awesome.

inbuilt filters seem to do a good job of removing the chlorine taste from the water too. We're in an Industrial estate so the tap water usually tastes like chemicals. Great product.
