include a battery backup system which has now been tried twice while Western Power ‘blacked’ us for 2 separate days whilst replacing poles in our area. 1x power and 1x light circuit flawlessly kicked in so lights & internet & telly, music were still available. The only issue is that it seems that the power inverter is powered only from the grid so no battery charging occurred during the blackout. (I still need to make enquiries in regard to this issue) Very competent and friendly technicians made a the removal of the old batteries & installation seem easy. Most helpful to answer the many questions I had for them. The only hiccup was the fact that the toggle need to connect the system to the internet was not presently available so there was a delay whilst waiting for the component to arrive. On the topic of support, I did try and contact Solar Group on a few occasions to find out when I could expect the component to arrive and found that I always seemed to get a ‘busy’ notification. To their credit though, I always received a call back to answer my enquiries. Performance?? Installed at the end of Summer (no clouds in sight) so batteries quickly charged to 100 % with self-sufficiency in the very high 90’s … Now June and Winter is setting in. Batteries with a break in the weather are presently getting up to the mid 30’s and back to the 20’s in the morning. Presently. depending mostly from the grid. Not until the system runs for a year or so can I fully assess the benefits over whole seasons of weather. We will see?? but overall the system seems robust and user friendly. I hope this helps. reasonable cost . Installers were friendly , professional and knowledgeable. Answered my questions willingly and left the area clean and tidy . The 20kwh stack looks smicko . Our power bill is now generally less than the std connection charge and we charge our car 100% from the system , mostly during daylight but house batteries let us charge overnight if needed ( trickle charging ). Only issue has been not being informed of the bottom 20% not being available fir battery discharge. Though this can be adjusted if requested I believe

promises and never followed through and eventually took around 4 months to rectify the problem. On my second dwelling which is a 1 bedroom cottage we installed an Eveready Battery, we already had solar panels. Again during the sales process they were very responsive but now that we have an issue with the battery we are in the same similar position. This time however someone speaks to me but there is a language barrier and what I am saying is being misinterpreted or misunderstood so I am having to continually repeat myself. The issue does not get resolved I am told someone will get back to me and nobody does. I keep calling, I also keep emailing and a month has now passed and we are no further ahead. Solar Battery Group just closed the matter and referred me to a company called SAJ which I have had nothing to do with and SAJ simply does not call even though Solar Battery Group says they chase them. The matter was eventually escalated within Solar Battery Group 10 days ago and someone was going to get back to me immediately but 10 days later I'm still waiting to hear from them. So if you buy from them don't expect much in terms of service when there is a problem and clearly there are problems because I've had issues with both systems we purchased from them

The installer failed to complete work after removing the inverter. Newssolar panels and battery installed they removed the old inverter from the wall and left the Power cable hanging out of the wall.
