Crap system. Crap service. Can't get hold of anyone – Crap system. Crap service. Can't get hold of anyone plus kept ringing me for the inverter they changed over. Waste of time and money.

Can’t fix the problem – Ordered 6kW system in Feb to be done by installers already in area. Not installed till May, but immediately failed. Replacement inverter also failed and am now up to fifth failure just before Xmas. Always slow to get a replacement inverter. fail! It is nine months since installation and we have had less than four months use ( one inverter did go for nearly three months before it failed). Now six weeks since last failure and no response from Solar Energy Service, just talk, so asked Fair Trading to intervene. Would no recommend them to anyone.

due to shading (from a tree) it was not the best spot so they installed them on the front of the house instead. After installation, we received confirmation that it was connected around 4 weeks from installation date. Terry whos based in Adelaide calculated around 30% reduction in our bill with this 4.4kw solar. I am pleased to say that the saving is closer to 50% ( we now do all our dish washing and laundry / drying during the day, and use electric heaters during sunlight and gas at night- all tips from the crew at Solar Services).

could speak to but he was of no help at all.. It was frustrating and infuriating. Eventually, in July, 4 MONTHS AFTER INSTALLATION, an electrician arrived to install the meter but told me someone else would have to come and unlock the board and start the power. Then I had a phone call from someone who seemed to know what was supposed to happen. Told me the electrician hadn't finished the job but at least told me how to do it myself. I don't know if they have provided the information to my supplier so they can update my account because I'm not game to ask. So if you are thinking of getting solar power DO NOT use Solar Energy Services. Never have I had such appalling service from anyone for anything!!

Best – Just moved into a new house and thought I'd get some solar panels. I didn't really do any research, jumped right into it and went with these guys because they installed it for my friends. This is because my roof is very complicated and the panels needed to be separated onto 3 different faces and even then on those faces they were separated onto different apexes. I really commend these guys for their hard work and effort today. They worked non stop without lunch and as the installer was leaving he said sorry it took so long but he "really wanted to make sure it was done right". They know what they are doing and this company seems to be a hidden gem in the world of trade. It is very rare to find a company that cares about the work they leave you with. very happy, get onto these guys, my experience has been flawless so far. Thanks

Best of multiple quotes – 7.9kw solar system for our factory. Process was smooth and no issues. Friendly team to deal with. Have told our friends, the local footy club is getting solar from them aswell.

No compaints – We had a 3kw solar installed. The gent who came to visit us was friendly and knew his stuff. This is our second solar system , we are lucky to be able to double dip in the rebates. Good quality and price , friendly electricians – 8.6kw solar system installed on 3 phase shed. Product purchased , no deposit needed , installed in 2 weeks , connected to network (sp a ausnet) today. We spoke to Scott who was very informative and was able to provide us with a discount because we opted to pay cash. Tier 1 panel and SMA inverter , I think we did alright. If you buy solar , use this company . Good and honest.

worst sevice ever – solar energy services confirmed a quote took my deposit, 2.5 months later when I rang to chase up my solar installation was told it will now cost me an extra $1000. at the last minute , did they not honour their original quote. Not worth wasting your time dealing with them. There are plenty of other suppliers that will do you a deal and honour their quote.

A bad experienced turned around – This is a follow up review from " i wish i had never heard of Solar Energy Services". We would like to say the problems we had have been rectified and we are now happy with our outcome. A problem that could have been fixed earlier, the company admits this. An experience that they have learnt from. They do pride themselves on their customer service and they did finally prove that to us.

Great package – Just received my first bill after getting the solar installed. We waited for it to be inspected and connected (7 weeks all up since pay $300 deposit). My Bill is now $192 down from $400ish. we installed a 2.5kW. Pretty happy!!! If you sign up ask for Scott he's been amazing with all our questions. Thanks

Good company to deal with – A good company to deal with. We ordered 5KW system. It was installed in 2 weeks and paperwork is submitted for the connection quickly and connected. The sales person clearly explained what we were getting and put us on a payment plan so I can comfortably pay for the system. Great company – Installed 3.5kW last week. Great guys and great customer service. Changed our mind to pay cash and nice girl Diana sorted it out for me. Overall good experience, too bad it's winter.

Nice and neat installation – I have installed 12 panels. We have a town house and the guys did a great job installing the panels very neat and they were able to fit 12 panels when others said it couldn't be done. It was able to be done but the installation took 2 days as the system was broken up into many parts of my roof. Anxiously waiting for the next bill. great experience- can't fault – we got solar for our car wash in Melbourne , 60x 250w panels we didn't have to spend any money upfront and the savings from the solar are used to pay our repayment for the system. very good product tailored to our needs. if you want solar for your business these guys are the best! thanks guys.  Show reply

No shortcuts taken , good quality easy finance option – 24 panels installed in december last year. compared quotes from 4 ofhers , were not the cheapest but had a very professional approach and they took over an hour discussing our needs and requirements. Bills have reduced, system performs well , and all sorted on interest free finance. If you are looking at solar these guys are simply great , well worth paying a little more for quality solar and industry experience.

There was a little delay with setting up the automatic payments for the system but they took care of it all on our behalf. Finance company was great too.

Good products good service – We dealt with Charles from start to finish. He sold us a 3.0kw system. It was installed promptly and all paperwork was submitted in a timely manner. There was a delay with the distributor connecting the system to grid while we were mad at the start I found out the delay is not due to solar energy services. Overall a good experience.  Show reply

Great Installation and advice – Contacted solar energy services as the shop next to ours used them for solar. Great lease option and flexible terms required no initial cash outlay from our end. Solar Review – Signed up with the company a couple of months ago. The customer service was great and I was always talking to someone that could understand my circumstances. However, it did take a while for them to install my solar system but now everything is working fine and couldn't be happier with the installers, pricing of the product and quality of the products aswell. Overall a good company and lovely people :)

wanted to purchase a bigger system (why not the the bigger the better) but she advised me that it wouldn't be worthwhile to spend that much and only get a little back. After hearing this, she advised my wife and I that it would be better getting the 3kW system which would be more beneficial to reduce my bills.

Secondly, gaining some trust into the sales person and company I chose to go ahead with the great deal. I don't know too much about panels but I got German panels and German inverter and from what I can see, defiantely reducing my bills.

Overall impressed with the customer service, pricing and so far reliability. So far so good, only had one problem which was my inverter breaking down but the company was understanding and replaced it within a week.
