Then 1 week before the deadline they told me they didn't have the CS6 system in stock anymore and it was up to me to either proceed and accept the older EQ4800 model or get a refund for the deposit. At that point in time with less than a week to the end of the rebate deadline I wouldn't be able to find another provider in time, so I was forced to accept if I wanted to get the rebate.
Then a mere 3 days before the deadline they said they wouldn't be able to commit to the installation due to delays with other customers and that I could get my deposit refund. At this point they wasted my time and took away my opportunity to have a deal with another provider under the valid rebate before 30/Apr.
Install was excellent everything was great. Then a few niggling problems.they obviously got busy so then you won't get any aftersales service Multiple contacts yes.ill get back to.you then the installer is on hollidays then I'll get back to.you in 3 days then they ghost you. Contact again and just give you the run around . Don't expect any service after the install. Choose someone else to install your battery its been disappointing

The company stated that installation would be arranged within 15 days and completed within 4–8 weeks of acceptance, subject to standard industry exceptions such as DNSP or supply delays. However, no installation date was ever scheduled, and no evidence of DNSP submission or progress was provided.
On 07/04/2026, I called the company and was informed that my emails had been received and that the DNSP process would take approximately 20 minutes, with updates to follow. No updates were provided after this call.
On 17/04/2026, I sent a further email regarding their stated Friday refund processing schedule, but received no response. The refund has not been processed and no resolution has been provided.

Highly Recommend – These guys were sharp from day one. Explained the process to me over the phone and the whole process was seamless and smooth from day zero. running perfectly for three months and I have since referred two family members and claimed $400 in cash referrals. If your hesitant to bite the bullet, bite it - SolarGalaxy has been highly accomodating to me and I would not hesitate to install with them again.

the deposit, I informed next day that I wouldn't be going forward with them (checked reviews and realized they have terrible service and are not a reliable company) and asked for a refund of the deposit. Was told that the deposit would be refunded by the end of the week. After 2 weeks, even after contacting them, they didn't refund I posted the review on Google and they finally contacted me to remove the review and said the refund was already processed but was never paid. It's been almost a month now and I have not received my deposit yet.
UPDATE: Finally received the refund after engaging my bank. I had to raise the dispute on the transaction and the bank investigated it and the refund was credited to my account after a few days of raising the dispute. Probably not the issue with the sales team, but the administration needs to review and improve their accounting so customers do not have to reach out to their banks to intervene.

promised installation before 20/02/2026. As that date approached I heard nothing so I followed up a third time and was told installers are finalising their route in my area with further promises of a response by Tuesday at the latest. That was Tuesday last week and I have still heard nothing.
The price is good for the equipment, but the service so far is just polite empty promises without any tangible or accurate information. They did enough to get me to sign a contract and then left me in the dark. If not for my own follow ups, I likely would not have heard anything from them since signing over 6 weeks ago.
Whether my experience improves from here remains to be seen, but so far I feel like a low priority and that makes me nervous for the quality of the actual installation.

It honestly feels like they abandon you the moment the job is done. There’s no responsibility taken, no accountability, just ongoing frustration and silence. phone sure, but they just lie about everything and it's empty promises with every conversation. Every time you chase them, it feels like you're starting from scratch.
It’s like they ghost you the second they finish the install. No ownership. No accountability. Just silence and frustration. Oh but they do harass you post install to provide them a 5 star google review which I did but have now updated.
I wish I had never gone with them, and I’m warning you now - if anything goes wrong with your system, you’re on your own. Almost 2 months and still haven't had a technician attend.

Although they weren't the cheapest they took into considerations details about my installation and my property that other companies didn't. actual ceiling that is pretty damaged. I get told again and again to please wait, that it is sorted, that someone is coming and yet nothing is done. FOUR MONTHS! It is ridiculous customer service, shoddy workmanship and dishonest dealings. Pay a bit more for someone who does a good job and has good customer service.

Unpleasant Experience. Better off going with virtual companies – I had booked a 13kw system and thought I had an exclusive steal deal available for me and my daughter. Upon further investigation on the panel and asking around the neighborhood, I found out that I am being provided with the same panel model that my neighbors installed almost 2 years ago. Upon checking with the admin person on 1300 number, they said there might have had been some confusion. inspected by an electrician friend and was advised that I only need to upgrade ISO switches or something for solar compliance purpose and the rest is fine. Upon confronting the sales person, I was told that i will get a call from insstallations team to explain me the need for an upgrade. 2 weeks down i didnt receieve any call and ended up cancelling my solar system with them. I got my deposit back now but looks like I will have to spend extra money as no one is able to give me any installation date for this year and appparently I will have to pay extra money if I want solar due to some federal rebate amount decrease.
