Ordered a battery and solar installation back in October 2025 (Gold Coast based). Was initially told it would be installed by mid-November. Then December, then January, then absolute latest mid-February, then March. Very disappointed. Have asked for a refund of my deposit, will see how that pans out. Show details

Took our deposit then changed their minds and didn’t want to install out solar panels and battery so canceled our contract but won’t refund our money. So disappointed with the process. Came in at cheapest quote and then backed out. Very poor customer service Show details

Fast but unfortunately wrong installation. After service is very bad. Took them almost 6 months to fix all the mistakes. That was after I told them I will involve the Office of Fair Trading. Still not all mistakes fixed. Emails are simply ignored. Worst culprit Malcom. Totally unreliable!! Would not use them!

consistently ignored. I have also received a false claim today that someone had attempted to contact me when no such attempt was made.

Most concerning is the fact that an installation was scheduled for today, and no one attended. There was no notice, no communication, and no explanation. This is completely unprofessional.

At this point, I have lost all confidence in your ability to deliver the agreed service. I therefore require a full refund of my deposit to be processed immediately.

If I do not receive confirmation of the refund within 5 business days, I will have no choice but to escalate this matter further. This will include lodging formal complaints with consumer protection authorities and pursuing legal action to recover my funds, along with any additional costs incurred.

I strongly advise you to treat this matter with urgency.

I expect your prompt response.

Excellent post installation service – I got my 6.6 KW solar panel and 5 KW inverter installed by Solar Miner back in January 2019 and have not found any problem in the past 4 years. ceiling where the solar panels are installed on the roof and I claim for insurance, the surveyor mentioned it was small crack in one of the tiles where the panles were installed. I reported the same to Solar Miner and they send the mantenance team fairly quickly who replaced the cracked tile. All covered under installation warranty.

I was quite surprised by the quick response and even more surprised that after 4 years of installation they are still coming back for a problem like cracked tile without any arguments.

I highly recommend Solar Miner and thank for their excellent customer service.

Nikul was the installer and the same person who responded back on my warranty claim, so thanks to him and his team as well!

After installation of battery system, electrical inspector noted issue with battery installation. I contacted Solar Miner for rectification; that was 2 months ago... still waiting for a fix. I also wanted a copy of the CES to no avail. Solar Miner has been unhelpful in resolving the problem and they don't seem to show any care to resolve the non compliant work. Have installed batteries in our home and then abandoned them. They didn’t have room to wire into our existing switchboard do they let the batteries go flat ( you can’t let lithium batteries go flat they are now useless) and will not respond to any communication. took our money. Thousands on dollars and now we are spending hours compiling evidence to submit to the ombudsman and consumer affairs. What a horrible, shonky operator. We want a working battery but they have dumped these useless batteries in our garage. Now we can get a battery because these ones need to be removed first but they will not do that or give me my money back.

Rubbish company to deal with I’ve had issues after issues getting the battery installed. Have now had to send three emails to as a question about the battery and it’s been weeks without a response. I urge people not to use this company. Show details

the issue or resolve it. Every time l call they will say we will discuss it with our service team and ca you back and no one calls us back . The customer service and after installation service is 0. I had to share this since we still haven't got anyone to fix the problem!!

Don’t trust this company, they are not honest, they only tell me that I only get state government rebate, and when I ask what other rebate that I get he disconnected my call. They are trying to make more money if you don’t know what rebate we are allowed from state and federal government. Show details

Delivery of battery was an issue with crew arriving to install to no product this was rectified satisfactorily in two days and installation completed. I got 4-5 quotes ranging around $6K for a 40KW battery before these guys quoted me $9K for the same system, same brand battery In fact they have charged my neighbour less for three phase power system then my own that's one phase. The excuse was that prices went up recently.

enough to fully charge a large unit. Goes to show they dont just try to sell you the most expensive unit, but the one suitable for your usage.

Ordered batteries in December, took weeks to get response regarding installation then they were unable to install as per sales mans advice. Batteries sat in garage for 6 months before being collected and now refuse to give refund after over 1 month of chasing it.
