Solar quotes were very helpful with great information on their site and helpful recommendations for suppliers and things to look out for. In the end the payback for a battery for our existing solar system didn't make it worthwhile however Solar Quotes help supported that decision

I found this extremely useful and used it to go back to the suppliers and get detailed responses to various queries the form had raised for me. All the suppliers were very helpful in this process and were keen to provide me with all the information I needed about the suggested systems. used before. This company is also on the Solar Quotes web site as a silver thingy. They weren’t referred to me by solar quotes, but they are a brilliant company. I’m not sure if I should mention the companies name that I ended up going with in this review so I’ll leave that. I also want to add that after plenty of research, I am having a Sigenergy system Installed. Solar quotes have a real issue with Sigenergy and make a point to not recommend them even though they are the most popular premium system on the market right now. Solar quotes focus on the famous recall due to the issue with overheating plugs and don’t want to say much else about them. At the end of the day, Solarquotes is an excellent source of information but please also do your own research as well. If I took their word as gospel I’d not be going with Sigenergy.

solar panels+battery and solar panels only - I was about to sign up with one supplier for solar panels and then received an unexpected battery offer which was too good to refuse. Throughout the process, both quoters were friendly, not pushy, offered advice and were happy to adjust their quotes. Note: I requested my quotes in mid March 2026, which was in the crazy time ahead of the battery subsidy changes. Signed up mid March, installed 16 April and certified 28 April 2026. The installers were great, did a good job and cleaned up. Couldn't be happier with the process (even being ghosted by one quoter, dealing with 2 was enough.)

Quotes process was very easy to use and resulted in prompt approaches from two excellent providers.

Information on the website was very helpful & the feedback was excellent. Only issue I would have is that they were only able to recommend one installer to contact but that is probably due to the area we live in. I followed the advice on the website and got quotes from several other companies some of who have been very pushy.

States 3 quotes on website but when you put in postcode (Western Victoria) it responds with "sorry only one company available" in New South Wales. They have a shell office in Victoria . When I looked local I found 5 companies to quote me. Limited supplier selection I think.

His company was the only one to actually offer a quotation and this was for installing a battery and not an additional array of solar panels and a battery. So, the Solar Quotes process worked well but the installers did not want the work because it would take time to sort out two arrays, three inverters and a battery and add another battery and solar array.Very disappointing.
