take photos for them when Solar Run were the only retailer who came to visit my home the following day. The installation was exceptionally clean, and it shows that they take pride in their work. They were patient to answer all my questions and took the time to show me how the app works. I will have absolutely no hesitation to recommend Solar Run to my friends and family.

Although they wanted me signing indemnity forms to say im okay if solar doesn't work properly which I was happy to although advised them I wanted to sign within 48hrs. after 48 hrs I recieved nothing. I was looking through my emails and saw my old quotes. I called Tim up and told him exactly what I wanted he told me it was overkill for what I needed and advised him that's OK that's what I want. In only 24hrs Tim and jenny organised this and paperwork and everything for a full 13kw system and 42kw battery. I signed the papers and everything moved so fast. Just over a week the installers came, Seymour solar and electrical. The 2 boys the rocked up were amazing, from there fine detail to accuracy in installing and professionalism, I must recommend, I am a field technician and I love meeting others that care about their workmanship and quality like they did, from installation to upgrading my switchboard for me. harnesses or rails while on your roof, then miss a broken tile so it damages your property, then after chasing it for 2 months they scream at you over the phone and tell you to and i quote “take me to court im not doing anything” then you send them a formal and legal letter of which the owner Anthony Kurta ignores. yeah mate you! i should come down to the office and see you mate. how many phone calls and emails have you ignored ? ive lost count.
terrible quality battery install with ducting falling off the wall, bollards loose and white bathroom silicon used to hide their over cuts in the plaster and cornices.
not to mention they trash your garage and front yard and leave all the rubbish all over the front of your property dont even attempt to sweep up their wire offcuts or clean up any of the packaging.
AVOID! you will regret dealing with these scammers. they take your money and solarRUN away.
Follow-up · absolutely no contact from anyone in this company, their dodgy work directly caused damage to our property and the responses were “take us to court” while screaming at us over the phone. all attempts to contact the managing director and head office have been met with silence. they dont even respond to formal letters. you have been warned use this company at your own risk.

Follow-up · System working well, handled 2 wet days and still had 50% power to spare. No major change in Bills, but this was not really expected, we have paid no electricity since installing panels, the battery just covers the hours of darkness and provides back up during outages. Chris has been available to answer queries and has been most helpful.

fantastic job. Really tidy work and these boys knew there stuff, I was really impressed with them. Sam was very accomodating and found me the best system at a fantastic price. I really cannot recommend these guys highly enough. The good thing is that these guys are not your fly by night where a lot shut down after doing installs and rebates cashing in so you have no warranty, these guys have been around and the quality of workmanship I do not believe we will have an any issues. Further they are there to help you with your system afterwards so you are not on your own figuring it out. I would give them 10 stars if I could as this is what it should be like getting a service installed. Thanks again for a great customer experience.

I found Solar Run Maroubra Dishonest installer / sale person. I didn't get to shop around for quotes and went with Solar Run Maroubra, [Name Removed] Invoiced me $22000+ after finished installation. I then get a few more quotes to compare and found out everyone else quoted me $15000 for same system with 28 solar panels where he only gave me 17… Read more
Solar panels and asked $22000+. When I questioned him why I were charged so much, he replied he's more expensive because he give life time support, also he's a engineer. He agreed to reduce to $18500 after negotiated. But I still paying $3500 more same system compared to other installer quoted me , I also will have to get more solar panels later on as the 17 Solar panels won't be able to fully charge my battery in cloudy and winter time. He was also difficult to reach after sale when my inverter having connect to my App, and there is an issue with that the system is not fit for purpose because the metering is inaccurate, causing a 30% "phantom" home load. He told me to fix it my self by sending me the instructions. Also get the Fox company to contact me regarding when there was an issue with the export setting. I had to hire and pay a experienced Fox installer from other Solar battery installer company to fix the issue. Very disappointing. Solar Run Maroubra didn't even comes to do the final inspection to make sure everything was OK after the system were installed, I had to use CHATGPT to find out what the issue was, and when I told him what the CHATGPT said. He replied he's an engineer and he doesn't deal with CHATGPT. If I trust CHATGPT I can deal with CHATGPT. It's not my job to find out what the issue is, if he had come to my place and check it himself but No, he didn't!! It's hard to get support from after sale, Not to mention life time support from him he previously stated. I still found others installer are far honest and reasonable in prices, regardless they're Indian or not. Try these companies instead : Green Subsidy, Sufficient Energy, Aussie Solar Battery, Autra Battery.

Being a company based in Gippsland where I live, I contacted Solar Run but, to say the least, their lack of communication was basically non-existent. I rang a number of times and was assured a consultant would contact me in a couple of hours - but nothing ever happened. Sorry Solar Run, but how could I ever recommend you to anyone after this time-consuming and very annoying experience.
I was not happy with the job being delayed numerous times. It took just over 3 months from date of order to the date of installation. company were not friendly or helpful in explaining or answering questions. The panel of the switchboard was pressed hard against the electrical wires behind the switchboard and the panel was bulging. This reason was that the obsolete electrical wires were not removed from behind the panel. The installer-electrician’s Certificate of Compliance showed that I needed an upgrade of the switchboard. I contacted the installer-electrical technician three times to do the upgrade of the switchboard, because he is the obvious person to perform the job, but no reply to my text-messages and e-mails. This also became an extra cost on top of the price of the solar battery system.

!! Broken covers that had to be replaced There was a recall in our inverter due to melting AC plugs . That was 4 months ago and solar run can't tell us when a replacement can be installed .but new installs are powering ahead No communication for months and now they're not even responding to our inquiries anymore . Also we're curtailed to 1kw export without any explanation why ,as we wait for them to organize a net metering agreement . So can't join a vpp or export all our excess power .
If you can try to avoid these installers as the plauge. Do your research on other installers . Don't make the same mistake we did COWBOYS !!
