Never use them again – My Enphase battery unit failed while still under battery warranty and Enphase advise me to call Solar Service to repair or replace the unit, but I have made more than 10 calls but only went to voicemail and said will call back but never do, and I sent email they do not reply. Total scam. Stay away. Got our battery about 5 years ago. We saw no real difference in the bills. Recently we noticed the battery light was off. We were charged approx $260 for someone to take a look, diagnose a faulty battery that was out of warranty. it needed replacement. You can guess what we did. Avoid these people – My battery unit failed while still under warranty. I have made more than 10 attempts at organising a replacement - staff continually fob me off. They promise to call back but never do and they do not reply to written correspondence. Serious deficit in customer service and fulfillment of obligations under Consumer Law. Ombudsman worthy. Do not buy anything off this shonky company.

Pleasant surprise to have 2 courteous and competent techos to do the job – The problem was sorted with a minimum of intrusion and inconvenience and the end result was terrific in terms of the systems operation. Show details

Solar Battery : Solar Service Group do call back, takes 3 to 4 weeks but legit company – Solar Service Group did come and sorted out the problem of only ever showing one bar on the solar battery. And they did not charge. ( This was more than two years after initial installation.  Show details ·  1

a phone call from them. After many phone calls and follow ups with their technical team, apparently the main battery now needs to be replaced. Waiting over a month now to get it replaced which is costing me money re my electricity bills. Poor service!!!. Spent over $20,000 with the solar battery group with solar batteries, hot water system and was about to sign up for additional batteries and air con system and deposit was paid. Have cancelled both orders now since due to poor service. No compensation etc offered either. New installations can be done in a week or so as I was advised with my new orders, Warranty and replacements take way over a month to get done and no urgency what do ever as experienced so far. Sales team are very prompt with new sales but after service is poor. Interesting! Concerned about the quality of the Hive Battery system too.

I was scammed – I was scammed from the beginning. There prices are double the costs of other companies, and they use cheep products. I have moved to another company to sort out the mess they made. The battery was never connected to Western Power WA Show details

red up and got independent solar battery contractor in, found out that solar service had not wired up the battery and new inverter properly , dont trust this group as the contractor they use are not qualify / dont know how to install and wired up a solar system,

High pressure sales team – Sales team were very pushy, insisting I provide a $350 deposit to hold a ‘special deal’. When I said that I’d want to look at the details of the proposed offer, salesperson just said I had to trust them because they don’t care who their customers are. don't do it – complete disappointment, was promised a 40 cent a Kw, and up to $40 a kw. and what i got was 8 cents a Kw, my previous company paid 14 cents a Kw, so we signed of from Hive batteries, no response since, this was 6 months ago. all they want to do is sell the system, now i wonder about the warranty, don't do it. Show details

response from technical support now online again and explained this was the first time i was answered. Told that someone would be in touch to book a service (first time in years) over a month now, left multiple messages with the technical support lady i spoke to on her answering service, still no reponse. I dont want anymore apologies or i will have someone look into it because i already got that far...... and still nothing. Now i guess its time to make a complaint to consumer affairs or current affairs for removal of the useless sytem and a full refund. I am a returned veteran and the additional stress is making me physically and mentally sick my bills have not changed from the day they installed it and after paying almost $7000 out from my compensation for my spinal injuries sustained whilst serving under the impression from the sales team my bills would reduce and that they monitor the sytem and service it (it was offline for over a year and they would not answer my emails or online enquiries) i no longer want talk or promises i want them to take back the sytem and refund me..... i dont want anymore im sorry to hear that... i want to see we are refunding you immediately and have booked a technician to remove the sytem.... then i will know they actually care.......

Purchase Enquiry – I am amazed at the lax (failure) response from Solar Service Group. I contacted them by e-mail-no response, by website query-no response, by telephone - where I did speak to someone who said he would refer my enquiry to the appropriate person. Solar NO Service – Had our system installed a couple of years back after we were contacted about being part of a trial. We had to arrange finance for it, which was no issue. waiting for a call back which never came. Finally got our battery replaced. Being part of a trial, we were advised that we would have continuous monitoring & that they would come and service the battery regularly, as well as clean our solar panels. Haven't seen them once! I have also asked them to refund me & take back their battery...but again, don't get a response. I think any positive reviews for these people are either paid reviews or family members of staff because their service is non existent, which is why I refer to them as Solar NO Service. Never thought of leaving a review for them previously but just got a text message asking if I want a second battery haha. Good joke!

Bad service – Very bad service still waiting for the email you guys promised. Debited $400 for the battery and also promised to send me an email with payment plan. Called several times and I’m yet to receive a call. This is mis selling how do customers know if the offer is valid. I was told that the battery is 50% off

everything you said you would. From all the help with setting up a loan, which had a few hiccups along the way. To your speedy service. Your polite, friendly and very helpful team members. To the promised saving I would make, which was instant, also as promised. The installers were extremely friendly, fun and helpful. Did an amazing job, turned up on time and remained in contact with me without the whole process ; before, during and after. Brilliant people to have on staff, representing your company. Your team have also been very helpful, even after the install was completed, the company has helped me numerous times with any issues that had popped up months later. in fact the company rang me one time to point out there was an issue which I had not noticed and promptly got onto fixing it. the staff are always extremely polite, knowledgeable, experienced, patient and happy to help. they have talked me through any actions needed, without pushing or rushing me, not concerned that it was taking a long time to complete the task, happily staying on the phone until the task was finished. you should praise all of your team members, they are awesome. I hope one day you get to put a unit on every building in Australia. saving this planet from human greed and destruction.

no return calls, answering machines talking calls. It was at this stage I was so glad payment for this product was not processed, weeks/months passed by during which time atleast 4 technicians came out to try and fix the issue which non of them did as the system still to this day is not working 100%. With all of the frustration and lack of confidence in the product I advised solar service group to remove the faulty product on two separate occasions and return my deposit in which they refused both and sent the matter to a debt collector. I have not denied access to the property for them to collect their system however they have tried and pressure me with debit collectors and bad credit ratings to try and make me pay for an item that clearly has problems and I have no faith or interest in. Come and take this bit of scrap metal off my wall and leave me alone!!!!!!!

Making our own electricity – The boys from Solar Services were very polite and efficient. The batteries were installed in the time we were given. The installation was performed without inconveniencing us and their software application is very user friendly. Show details ·  1

The Alpha Ess 2.9 has changed our understanding of our power usage – We had an Alpha Ess 2.9 installed in January 2019 & by monitoring the app over the course of 12 months we have been able to add additional modules & build a solar storage system to accommodate the specific requirements of our household.
