Extremely disappointed with SSG. We were asked to pay in full upfront to secure our booking which we did only to have the job botched from the very start. did manage to do was sloppy, dust still visible on the lower panels. Not good enough. When I followed up, the best they could offer was a reschedule three weeks later. Three weeks — for a job that was already paid for and should have been done right the first time. Then on the rescheduled day, the job couldn't proceed because of rain, which is understandable. We are now more than four weeks on from the original booking. I have re-organised my work schedule three times around this. The service is still not complete. If you require full payment before the job starts, customers have every right to expect the job will actually get done, promptly and properly. SSG has failed on both counts. I would not recommend SSG and their upfront payment to this company until they can demonstrate they are capable of delivering on their commitments.
It has been a pleasant experience from first phone enquiry call to having the panel job cleaned. The workers were courteous, communicative and gave us a thorough report. Will definitely recommend them.
Engaged this company to check my blackout protection on an existing system. Due to their incompetence, two jobs were raised. One for a check of the blackout protection, quoted at 200$. had not been done, and the money was taken from my account without my permission, due to having to give my card details for them to even attend site. After chasing them up, I was eventually refunded 428$. When I challenged this, I was provided the false excuse that there was more work done on site than quoted (a lie, as there was nothing wrong with the system) they added over 50$ to the quote for a bogus reason, without telling me, due to sheer greed. What a bunch of rip off merchants, and I regret having anything to do with them.

and later 2 tiles were not bedded down properly. Even after, they thought the tile fitting was "good enough," I had to stop them departing, to re do the tiles again. Tiles were sticking up approx 35 mm. All their work debris (pile of cement dust, pieces of tile, and metal parts) just left on my roof. The senior fellow, said to me" the rain will wash it away. I complained to Origen Energy Warranty service division, with photos of their shoddy work, and spent approx 3 hours of my time cleaning up after this so called Service, by 2 rude, arrogant Service Guys. Not only poor work, and treated me with disrespect, by ignoring my requests, of less noise, and to keep off my garden. This is the second time dealing with ORIGEN Solar Contactors. On Initial Solar installation, that work was so bad, because the Inverter installed in harsh weather conditions( that should have been put under cover according to Installation instructions) lasted 5 months. There is a bad history about Solar Installation at the start and its aftermath at my home: and now the shoddy work, carried out, by the so called Solar Service Guys. Beware

I cannot speak more highly of Solar Service Guys, from the original phone call, confirmation emails, to the work carried out. Health check on system repaired the fault connected interter and got the system running again. Highly recommended.

Nice guys that seem to know what they are doing. To start of with, I would have given 5 stars just for the inspection of my solar system. submitted. They are great guys though and I would use them again. I just think you may have to make sure they react when you want them to. One note: It COULD be the battery company telling porkies so I cannot be absolutely sure that the report has not been sent.
The staff were very helpful getting me an appointment before Xmas, when gentleman arrived they were very nice and even though my hose didn’t fit due to the brand they were very patient about the time it took to hook up their hose to a different hose.
Very efficient and friendly people to deal with. Sinaed in the office was very helpful in getting things quoted and organised for installing. professional job. When there was troublele with one of the components, they kept at it until the problem was solved. All in all I would recomment this company if you need maintenance or an installation.

Pathetic Quote – Your website is filled with flashy terminology to woo the unsuspecting client fails to match the reality of lived experience. On requesting a quote to examine my low solar performance I was dealt speedily with a $350 price without any explanation. Take it or leave. So I left it and would certainly not entertain you when I upgrade my solar system. Hasta La Vista Baby!
Their hiring policies need serious work! – I applied for a job at the Solar Service Guys, but was treated like I didn't exist. It was a job I was qualified for and did my best to provide them with enough information. I hoped at least that I would get an interview. What happened next left me perplexed and disappointed: please see the attached video.

Review pending – Will be able to review when installation is carried out. Inspection carried out promptly. Inspectors were careful, courteous and efficient. I can't really make any further comment at this stage.

called. They arranged a contractor to attend, however, the first booking didn’t occur as the contractor was sick on the day. I didn’t hear until half way through the appointed time. That meant a further wait for another contractor to attend. Ultimately I was very happy with Bailey who attended, but I had to pay for a full assessment when all it needed was a new fuse, which I provided.

Solar Service Guys have given me outstanding customer service to date. My calls to them relating to a warrenty claim have been responded to in a very friendly professoional manner.I am gratefull they are involved with my claim.
I became concerned about my Enohase inverter so contacted Solar Quote (Finn Peacock’s) group for advice. Solar Guys were recommended. The team were extremely prompt, professional & thorough (turned out my inverter had been accidentally turned off) however they also checked all my solar panels & checked was working. I intially called the solar service guys to take a look at my aging and faulty system. They were very helpful and confirmed what I had believed which was the system needed to be upgraded. Annual maintenance was undertaken on our solar battery installation, the technicians were very professional and they answered all our questions. We were kept informed as to their expected arrival time, and were happy with the report we received. Very satisfied.
Very efficient, they notified us of the time they would be arriving and were on time. From time of paying for unit it was installed within the week.
I had a periodic check done on my installed home-rooftop system. The servicemen came within a few days of my making the booking. They were polite and answered all my questions patiently and professionally. They provided a long written report a week or so later. The fee was reasonable, and I would not hesitate to engage them again.
