I had a 13.28kW solar system installed by Solar World in 2023, followed by a 40kWh NeoVolt battery system in January 2026. During unrelated electrical work, an independent electrician inspected the installation and identified several issues. These included burnt and heat-damaged cabling on the solar system, poor cable termination, and 6mm²… Read more

cabling protected by 50A circuit breakers on both the solar and battery systems. The electrician assessed the cable capacity under the installation conditions at approximately 42A and referenced AS/NZS 3008.1.1 and AS/NZS 3000:2018.

The solar main switch enclosure was also found to be loose and inadequately secured.

As a safety precaution, the electrician switched off the solar and battery systems and recommended replacement of the affected cabling and circuit breakers, along with a full inspection of the installation.

We provided Solar World with the electrician’s detailed report and requested warranty rectification. After receiving the report, Solar World stated that the installation was completed by qualified electricians, had passed their testing and was compliant.

We have now lodged a complaint with the NSW Building Commission. The systems remain switched off as a safety precaution.

I am sharing this to document our experience and will update the review as the matter progresses.

securing quotes, I talked to each of those whom I found interest in dealing with and sought clarification about the products they offerred. I ended up finally deciding to engage with Tanvir Tanim because I felt his sincerity, transparency and pro-activeness.

From initial consultation, receipt of quotation, scheduling the installation to finally keeping on top on what was happening on installation date, Tanvir was always hands on and proactive in all stages of the solar battery acquisition. It was so easy to deal with him and was very clear in all his communication with me. Thus, when final full payment was sought, I requested my daughter to immediately faciliate the payment since Tanvir has done his part over and above what was expected.

The product purchased was a Fox ESS 10kWh inverter for single phase electrical system and a Fox ESS 41.93Kw CQ6 solar battery. These products are simply amazing in performance considering that these are supposed to be on the lower end of the market in terms of cost.

I will not hesitate to recommend Solar World in any of your solar power needs, especially when you are lucky enough to have Tanvir Tanim as your customer representative.
