without a single response. During that time, I have sent multiple follow-ups and updates, including reporting that the system is not functioning and my home is without power. Still nothing.

No acknowledgement. No troubleshooting. No urgency.

This is not a minor inconvenience. This is a complete failure of a critical home system, and the company responsible has effectively gone silent.

When you are selling and installing systems that people rely on for basic power, disappearing when something goes wrong is unacceptable.

company that will be around for many years to take care off us! He really analyzed our bills properly across the year and then designed the proper battery to add on to our current 6.6kw solar system! By the end he'd covered everything we wanted and it felt natural and not pushy. So we signed up on the spot using the $0 Deposit repayment plan. It really is just a trade-off we stopped paying AGL and used that same money to simply pay off the Solar Battery. The pre-install team was great keeping us updated along the way we were installed 6 weeks later. Installers were prompt and professional and after good discussion we decided to put the battery on the outside wall instead of inside the garage. I love how they included a Cover the inverter and battery at no charge! We did need to use a brick to keep the battery level because our house is on slant. But that doesn't bother me. Got setup with Heartbeat AI which also set me up with Amber Electricity and now its been about a month and I'm already have no electricity cost and earning about $1-$3/day on top of no bills to pay! At this pace I'll be at $500/yr earnings!

The initial sales rep was helpful and shared a lot of information. We ended up getting it installed a few weeks earlier than planned. The guys that installed the battery were just amazing. Informative and polite and shared along the way what they were doing and very respectful of our house, kids sand puppies. Also left no mess behind at all. install dates etc. After messaging my initial sales consultant for assistance, it all fell into place and battery was installed soon thereafter. Workmen were pleasant and tidy and all seems to be working well. A few post install questions I had were answered promptly and I even received an actual call from the support team to be sure my questions were dealt with to my satisfaction. That in itself is rare these days.

 Follow-up  · All seems to be working well so far. Next electricity bill is expected very soon which will no doubt be less than the previous one. Next one after that will be first full quarter using the battery so expect little or no charges from then on (depending on the weather)

No problems with install (Dec24) at first, then a few months in a complete black out - mains-battery link burnt out, went one night no power - fixed next day. So far so good. Show details

 Follow-up  · First issue was couldnt reach anybody after hours - gave their support a big earful on that, was assured it would be better in future. Fault was obvious once gateway was opened - heavy link wire burned badly, fixing screw damaged. Link and screw replaced quickly, no problems since.

assessor identified the damage & alerted both myself & 1 Komma5. (Still waiting for a fix) (mid Jan install) Our handover was rushed, late on a Friday evening on a hot day, the installer wanted to leave and assured me that once the independent assessor gave his ok & the batteries were switched on, then a full handover would occur. Naturally, disappointingly, it still has not. We are also still not re-connected for excess supply to go the grid, and our power supply company have emailed, asking our contractor, (1Komma5) to contact them to sort out the issue. (Waiting) 1Komma5 are great at getting you a quote. Their installation staff, (sub contractors), were polite, friendly & punctual. The afterservice care is non existent, because the money has been banked & they're onto their next project. Whilst we were assured that our customer service, back up, review, ongoing relationship would be fantastic, I'd describe it a terrible. We'll keep waiting. Sending in emails to a central server who log our issue, but never action it. If you're looking for a battery company or a renewable energy service / installer company, my advice, is don't waste your time, effort or money with 1Komma5. This foreign owned company with their local staff certainly don't care for us, why would they care for you!

batteries and sunshields that look smart on the side of my house. The team installing did an outstanding job. They taught me some stuff about it, the power board breakers which were rearranged, reset my hot water service timer to a more suitable time and got me started with the apps. I suppose I'll know more about product reliability and longevity in time and though the guarantees are in place for what I think is a good amount of time I won't know until I get there. Signed on to Amber for power supply and the app gives me pretty easy to understand info. There is a second app that also tells me things like battery temperature, how full it is and power consumption. About 4 days in now and the app is telling me I'm about 98% self-sufficient. Weather has been patchy. Some people seem confused about the app but it seems pretty straightforward. I can't see myself looking to sell from my battery according to price spikes but I'll see when the app alerts me that it's a good time to sell. I'll know more when the billing cycle kicks in and I'm not expecting it to do miracles but it does reassure me that what I'm using from the grid is pennies and if the grid blacks out I'll keep going for at least a while.

I was happy with Solaray for the installation of my solar panels about 4 years ago and Tesla Powerwall 2 about 2 years ago. Solaray was taken over by 1Komma5° . I have since discovered that a CCEW certificate was not issued when the Tesla Powerwall 2 was installed. I raised this issue with 1Komma5° in April 2025. 1Komma5° support seemed helpful.… Read more

After a few months, a technician came out to inspect the site at 1Komma5° could not access the original CCEW. I was told some work needed to be done to bring it up to the current compliance standard, but all this will be done at no cost to me. That was a few months ago. There has been a deafening silence from 1Komma5°. Several emails have gone unanswered.

I guess 1Komma5° is good with installation, but very bad with after-sales support. There is no phone number to call. You have to raise a support ticket electronically and hope for the best.

UPDATE Since writing this review, 1Komma5° reached out to me with some concern. The Head of Customer Service apologised for my experience and bent over backwards to resolve this issue. I am happy to say that everything has been resolved.

installed incorrectly forcing them to re-cable the entire system three months later.

Their advice was absolutely useless. They prioritised saving their own costs over my needs. For instance, they told me to keep my old system to "produce more electricity", but THEY JUST WANTED TO SAVE THEMSELVES THE COST OF REMOVAL & DISPOSAL. The old system was obviously too old and was not even compatible with the new one. This is only one of many pieces of useless advice they gave me, be very careful people, don't spend your hard earning money and get headaches. My project COST OVER $30000 and I’ve had nothing but trouble since the installation. I hope nobody else has to go through the nightmare I experienced. I sent them an official complain and never get a reply. Stay away if you want peace of mind.

problem. If they don't like your problem, they won't get back to you at all. I suggest going with someone smaller and more local to you because they will care more about the service you get.

UPDATE: I sent an email to the guy that is below here. He said he was happy to help me if I would take down this review. I said I wouldn't take it down until my install was fixed. They made 2 appointments, cancelled both of them and so now I've gone to Fair Trading.

You'll maybe get a working unit but if you have any problem with it at all, you will NOT get any service without going through all of this.

Update: On 27 March someone came out and the installer had not connected the CT clamp and there was no CT clamp. I do not know if the CT clamp has been put on but my system now backs up. It took 2 months of me chasing them and the threat of Fair Trading.

As a side note: I wasn't sent any emails that required a response. None. Thank you.

who told me they couldn’t help with technical issues and that someone from the technical team would get in touch. A few hours later, I received an email saying that for standard requests, the average response time is five business days.

What’s frustrating is that if you call about a new installation or sales enquiry, you can speak to someone immediately — but existing customers are left waiting days for support. It’s quite clear where their priorities are.
