entire family had been sitting on a time bomb for the last 2 years.

I spent over $800 dollars replacing the RCBOs. I have sent the detailed electrician report, videos etc to Solargain asking for a refund but a month later, there’s nothing. Apparently, they are waiting to hear from their supplier.

The awareness of checking RCBOs to see if they trip is very low. Can I please urge everyone reading this to check in case Solargain has replaced your switches.

Don’t trust what they claim. Contrary to their claim that they care and provide regular updates on issues raised, they don’t as is clear from my example.

Choose a provider that really cares, please.

do a 5 year service. All I get on their "customer service" line is "This inbox is full". They don't respond to emails, tneir website chatbox is just a bot - they are completely off-grid.

This is where I have issues. First contacted Solargain, Brendale in March 2026 and was advised service department will contact. After few more calls, emails nothing happened so contacted main office in Perth. Got the usual sorry etc. and the name of a person to do service; rang and after repeated unreturned phone calls again contacted main office via email. Reply from [Name Removed] saying sorry for difficulty in getting system serviced and recommended another company. Rang and actually spoke to Julian who seemed more than happy to do the job. Forwarded details and have heard nothing more, again after more texts and email. Contacted Perth office again a couple of weeks ago and still awaiting reply. So here we are at the end of July 2026 and still no service. I have contacted Solahart who would be more than happy to do the service, but as they do not know if their components are compatible with Solargain said I may be wasting money on a call out if they cannot replace parts that are usually standard in a 5 year service. Regretfully though this may have to be my next step. Again, the product itself has been working well, however cannot say for how long as the servicing that is supposed to be done - as outlined on Solargain website - has not been possible. So if considering Solargain in Brisbane ask about their after sales servicing, as we certainly have not had any. Should have stayed with Solahart.

Highly recommend Solargain, who have built a strong reputation, particularly after a poor experience with a less reputable company. Do your homework and save yourself money and headaches!

I had my solar system installed last year july 2025 which are istore hybrid inverter and jinko panels by Solargain Hastings. So far only had a couple of issues one was resolved quickly however the other is an ongoing feed in tariff which I'm not recieving. According to solargain its an istore issue which I have asked Solargain many times via phone and emails when its going to be resolved only to get from them that istore is working on it and they will compensate for this loss. Reason why I'm giving 2 star review is that when I got my solar system installed Solargain knew this was an on going issue with istore and purposely didn't disclose it to me. If Solargain was upfront with saying istore had this issue I may have not gone with this system. This issue is not isolated to me as well and to this day Solargain are still installing these systems knowing this is still ongoing. I'm sure just like myself they have not been disclosing it to there customer base until after installation. Seems like to me Solargain responds well to product reviews so after reaching out many times via email and phone, I'm leaving my experience here so everyone can see. Again I'm sure they will say they are working with istore putting blame onto them.

The electrician was great during the solar health check. However, the experience was let down by the admin team. The electrician needed a blank document with a letterhead from the office so they could send me an updated report. Despite multiple reminders, the admin team literally took over a week to email them the blank document, causing unnecessary delays. was not working and they would replace it under warranty. Nearly 4 months later we are still waiting for the inverter to be replaced. We are now paying high electricity bills with no resolution in sight. Each time we ring Solargain they say it is out of their hands and they have contacted Solar Edge who they use to install the system. They have said multiple times that they will escalate the matter & call us back. They never do call back!. $32,000 for a system that is not working and absolutely no customer service to rectify the issue!!!

I am an electrician myself and recognise quality workmanship. The Istore products are first class and I cant recommend Solargain high enough to anyone considering either a complete new system or an upgrade to your existing system.

iStore unit works well, heats water quickly and is light on power. I had a few issues where the unit would make a vibrating noise (not the compressor) that carried into the house. The installers did some bizarre piping in the roof that I'm still trying to get sorted out. Keep an eye on the install. The installation happened back in 2019/2020, so some details are forgotten. The installation went off well, and the panels work a treat, but the meter reader was Huawei, and after a month wanted access to my phone or it wouldn't allow me to access the app. Huawei has no right to access my photos or contact list, so haven't been able to use the app, and eventually deleted it. Show details

correctly. Would absolutely recommend both iStore (the sales company) and Solargain (the Install company). Post Install Support, however, can be a little lacking and you may have to be either patient or assertive to get any response.
