Had a consultant come out very professional, told me my return could take up to 10 years, after he submitted everything to solar hub for analysis they said 8.25 years . Gave them my bills approximately $1000 per year there quot $18500 after rebate just curious if people don't do the maths how many people are being taken for fools.
Follow-up · Just a follow up on questions Rebate clear No mention of breakdown of fees as I nearly fell over when they gave me a final cost telling me only just over 8 years to repay when they know my annual is about $1000 and the give me a cost of $18500. Sorry but if I was someone who didn't question them and the are very good at selling the product how many people would get ripped.
Ripping off clients and price gauging! I've spent a lot of time researching the suppliers to get the best value for money when buying a new water heat pump. not really put any thought into designing a proper incentive mechanism. They only approved 4 companies for the rebate scheme including SolarHub. And surprise! All Solahub abuse their exclusive position to enrich themselves. Don’t expect to save the promised $1250 as this money goes straight into their pockets. The quote I got from them for the same Haier 250L heat pump was way overpriced, so after rebate they were on par with the quotes from companies who were not part of the rebate scheme. It looks awfully like price gauging. When I directly asked Solahub rep about how their price after rebate is conveniently the same as other quotes without rebate, they just said that their services are traditionally more expensive and something about their staff skills. Such nonsense. I previously got quotes from them for ducted system and solar and they are always outrageously expensive. I got my AC from a Sydney based company and won't be getting any solar from Solarhub for sure. Solarhub pocket the rebate money and rip you off using the fact that ACTEW AGL could not care less.

installed, installation went very well. Would highly recommend Steve & his team from Econrg they installed it for Solarhub. Used it 3 times & it failed, email to Solarhub still unanswered have my money & I’m sure they no longer care. I then called & was told they would look in to it & I would receive a call back from them. I had to follow up & was told “Yes it’s been passed on to Panasonic”, as if I should of known this. There was no customer service & a NO CARE ATTITUDE from Solarhub. My advice, don’t go with Solarhub if you want any type of customer service if you have a problem. I wish I had known about Econrg, the excellent service & care was outstanding. So in the 36/38 degree heat I am now waiting on a part, my guess is it won’t come before Christmas. Panasonic have been great, I appreciate it is a bad time of year waiting on a part it’s just disappointing the lack of customer service from Solarhub. End result I won’t proceed with the quote for extra Solar Panels with them I will go elsewhere.

purchase new solar panels, we were assisted with an insurance claim from storm damage with microcracks in our panels and were lucky our insurer accepted the claim. Solarhub then installed the new solar panels. Really appreciated all the techs that attended, and the fantastic support provided by the Manager Chris and Office Jodi. Disconnection and reconnection of the solar power system in collaboration with another electricain (our house was being rewired and upgraded from single phase to three phase power); 2. Installation of five additional panels due to our property being shaded out by neighbours building a new double story house immediately next door, effectively blocking our existing panels from the afternoon sun.

provided extra complications for the technician's sort through as the original aging solar panels were left intact. Two days was originally scheduled but ended up being about 4 due to rain and poor weather conditions. The team members were all very polite and worked consistently to complete the installation. The solar batteries were expensive but now after some 2 months of monitoring the solar prior to making this review, their capability was definitely worth the investment and note with increasing energy costs I expect this will only get better. The house is now completely self-sufficient living on its own power source and therefore there will be no more bills from power suppliers regardless of the solar feed in tariffs etc. I would recommend Solarhub to anyone, as they were able to work with me on my special needs, knew what they were doing, advised on the best system solar panels and batteries to suit my requirements. The result is the system definitely works as it should. I'm also very happy with the Fronius inverter and Fronius application which helps monitor the system daily to ensure everything is working as it should. The only question now is do the batteries last long term and with the 10 year guarantee I'm hoping that's a good start. 5 Stars to Solarhub team for sure.

price, and a price commensurate with the quality i was seeking. I had had a previous (small) solar system which I was seeking to upgrade, and Chris stepped me through all the decisions. The biggest issue I had (apart from supply chain issues, but I cannot blame SolarHub for those) was that there was a carry-over problem from the old system, notably that when the old eddy current meter was replaced, the new smart meter was not properly configured. Again Chris helped me sort through what was needed, and explained how I should liaise with both electricity distributor and provider to sort out the problem. The tradies doing the install turned up on time, and completed the work without further hassle. They were most agreeable to deal with. Jodi and Nisha dealt most professionally with the administrative and financial side of things, and throughout the 9 months it took to install (did I mention the supply chain problems?) kept me up-to-date with progress. Thoroughly recommended.

Now our system has been going strong for 6 years with no issues. Couldn't recommend them highly enough! There are some shifty companies out there doing solar installations, so make sure you pick someone with a reputation, not a new company that popped up overnight.

I have been chasing Solar hub for weeks and weeks regarding a broken solar panel. They refer it to LG who appear to be doing nothing. Every contact (6) is initiated by me and while I do then get a response from solar hub it is always yes, we're waiting on someone else. Show details
Terrible – Was given a desktop quote which we accepted and was told everything was easy. Solarhub rep arrived on-site before install and said as our meter was 25m from the solar location we would be limited to what we feed back into the grid. That was fine. Install was delayed 3 times, the technicians arrived and told us not only would it not feed back into… Read more
the grid, but it also wouldn't supply power to cover our house and would only cover the shed that the panels were installed on. It then cost us another $5,000 to install new conduits to run a cable to the meter so the house would be powered. 3 months later and an argument with solarhub, they sent techs out to install a new cable. They left without coming to talk to us and our system has been offline since. Cannot get simple answers from Solarhub, just get told will advise and hear nothing.
