We had Solbase quote and install 13kw of solar panels with a 16kw battery using Sigenergy components. The whole process went smoothly except for the issue of the NSW Gov removing the battery rebate due to the Federal Gov battery rebate but we came to an agreement on this. go again with Solbase on its own independent merits for this installation based on price, system and sales experience. Their sales consultant Felix was excellent, prompt and informative in advice. Managed to answer all my complex questions. Once ordered, the project scheduler and coordinator Shirin was proactive with updates and managed to expedite installation ahead of schedule even though I was aware of backorders for solar batteries in Australia. The installer Hamzah came a few days before to inspect and plan with me, and on the day of installation was very consultative, communicative, expedient and neat. He did a great job and explained everything as we progressed. Shirin even showed up in person to see how things were going. System was installed, configured and even after the installation Shirin continued to communicate with me to support any clarifications. Although newer to the AU market, the EsySunHome HM6-10 system equipped with 6kwh inverter and 10.24 kwh storage was stylish and neat. We will monitor the performance against specs. The app easy to use, understand with many control features and functions. Overall, very happy again with the second experience with Solbase and their team. I highly recommend them if you are considering your solar or battery installations.
Follow-up · With the aggressive government subsidies, go for a step up capacity. The ESYsunhome battery has operated to expectation and the app is easy to use and comprehensive. I like the ability to control charge and discharge configurations.

There were very good answers and reasoning to the many technical questions I had and in particular the differences on their quoted solar system costs.
I chose Solbase Solar initially because Dan has given me that customer-centric values in acknowledging what I want and what I value. He listened actively and tailored the solar system to meet my specific needs and preferences. This was also evident when the Solbase installation team provided quality and timely service.

took me over few months which company I’d go with and also getting finances ready. Steve was patient and I chose Solbase based on the service level I was getting, quick call backs and emails and nonetheless they are the cheapest in the market for Solar! My best friend does Solar and still couldn’t match on price and products I was after! I had jinko panels and sungrow inverter.
The installers on the day were all great and on time, respectful of property. Few bits of rubbish left behind but nothing major. And I had negotiated black railings and ended up with silver but as long as system is working fine long term that’s the main thing!
The sungrow inverter and app is really simple and great to use. Today is day one so will see how much I can save on next bill!

Do not use this company – We had solar panels installed over a year ago June 2023 which were not installed to initial layout and I wasn't informed that it would be changed to this, I found out by looking on the roof. based from my first bill connected in August so low sun. I have been talking to [Name Removed] who decided to laugh at my lack of understanding then continuously talk over me to try and back out of it. To say I'm an frustrated is an understatement. I've spent a lot of money and time on this when it should have been well sorted by now. Then offered $134 as compensation for the hours of chasing and sitting on hold. Seams like it's not even worth having them.

Solbase are rubbish – Additional panels ordered with inverter to add to existing system with the battery to be also installed to the existing system. The system was installed as an independent system and has not run correctly since. PNI Pty Ltd t/as Solbase are refusing to correct their faulty workmanship. to the existing system but still they installed it as a separate system. They know that an SEM-E component was to be installed so that the inverters run in parallel and the battery modules were to be in one stack of 6 but they first said that Growatt did not have the software, then they said Growatt did not stock the SEM-E component and now they don't even answer the emails sent to them. Anyone out there looking to install solar panels stay away from Solbase and the installers they use. A formal complaint was made to Fair Trading whereby they made an offer to correct the installation. The offer was made in or around October 2023, it is now January 2024 and they have done absolutely nothing to correct the installation. There has been no contact. STAY AWAY FROM THIS LOT THEY ARE FLY BY NIGHTERS.

In the plans that I was given I questioned the panels on a southern roofline and was told that it would be sorted on-site. Since then the power bill have all have a credit on the account so ultimately very happy with the product and Install service Solbase provided. It’s been 9 months since they completed the install and haven’t had any issues. Very happy and would highly recommend.

Clean and efficient solar power – The 16 x 415W panels are almost invisible on the roof. They give 6.6kW to fully cover our daytime usage with some power to spare.
