My sound keep breaking & cutting in&out when playing via bluetooth..i have connected different device but still..any help??
No issues with mine BUT I found all the cabling is very messy, bought another one a Samsung bluetooth.
Hi there, my sa-ct80 automatically shutdown after 5 min. Doesn't matters from which input (USB, direct line or Bluetooth). Can you advise please? Thanks
As soon as bluetooth is connected, it makes an awful noise. And the noise is constantly there in the background, while playing music through bluetooth. Note sure why? No problem when connected to TV though.
Mine doesn't make any such noise. Have you tried pairing and playing from other mobiles/tablets/computers? If this is happening for other devices as well and still under warranty, take it back. If I were buying one today, I would invest some more money and go for Yamaha or Sonos - they've got better reviews.
I have had this for more than 3 years now, never had any issues, it was connected to my TV all these years. Today, i wanted to connect it to my nebula projector, it started making this annoying buzzing sound. Then I tried with my phone and few other devices. As soon as bluetooth is connected it starts making the noise, and if I disconnect the bluetooth the noise goes away. Perhaps, time to upgrade. Thanks
I bought Sony cuz it works with my Hisense 75” and returned Yamaha coz it didn’t work. I would buy a Hisense sound woofer now as its on the market. This Sony’s speaker is not Bluetooth

All the lights are flashing on my HT-CT80 and the power button on the sound bar does not work. I have tried to reset, and nothing happens. When i use the remote to turn on, the volume cannot be turned down or up. Are there any fixes? It just started doing all of this.

there is a power switch on R/H end of sound bar, if it works from there then remote batteries are flat,....if you're getting lights on sound bar you may have hit wrong button on remote,Optical switch needs to be on, if you mute your TV it stops the signal reaching the sound bar, how ever you can lower the volume of TV by volume control to zero, you can try a reset by pressing Sub Woofer +volume button then pressing Night button within 3 seconds, other wise i can't help. sorry

If you are using it with your TV , I would raise the output volume of the TV and turn down the sound bar. Most amped speakers fail at top volume..e.g. Distort.

It’s broken, Sony refused to fix my product and basically told me I’m out of luck. Horrible customer service. My sound bar wasnt even 2 years old
I had this problem after using a USB device (Mp3 player) and factory resetting did not solve it. I switched power off completely, plugged in a different USB Mp3 player and pressed play on the Mp3, then switched the power back on the soundbar and YES- it is fixed.
just insert usb n power it on..
I experienced occasionally ding sound from the soundbar while watching shows. It's irritating and always shocking when suddenly come with a loud ding sound. What is it and how to fix it ?

Hi, have you tried a system reset? Press SW (subwoofer volume) +, (volume) –, and NIGHT in sequence within 3 seconds. All 6 indicators on the Bar Speaker flash once, and the settings return to their initial status.
Disconnect the AC power cord
(mains lead).
