first call, they understood which products would suit me best, and they delivered exactly what they promised. There was an issue with my switchboard, but Albert handled it smoothly. They upgraded it without charging anything. And can't say enough about the installation. 10/10 workmanship. I had no active internet connection on the day of installation, and then the service team came to rescue after 3 days. Once I got Wi-Fi, they called and helped me set it up. Definitely recommending to all my friends and my son, as I promised. Thank you guys!

Really helpful and mindful of our needs. Very quick to put the solar up before Xmas. I dealt with Hazel and Richard who were both professional and knowledgeable. Good price but poor communication on delays and timeframes. Given the government’s announcement to subsidise batteries, it seemed there was a national shortage of batteries so we had to wait over 6 months for our system to finally get installed. Speedy Solar advised us about the national battery shortage, we asked if we could get the solar system installed first so we could start using it immediately and later get the battery installed when it became available. The team at Speedy Solar agreed with that two step phase but it seemed like they said that to get us to sign because once we signed the contract and I asked them when they would come to install the solar system, they told us the installers advised it would be best to install both the panels and battery together. But because of the battery shortage, the installation for both the solar system and battery kept getting delayed (with no timeframe communicated). I get that maybe Speedy Solar had limited control over the installation process because they were based in Sydney and we are in the ACT (would advise finding a local provider) but open communication, including upfront and realistic timeframes, would have made the whole experience much better.

Once all the equipment was available, the installation process was a little chaotic with so many subcontractors trying to get everything done before the end of the year. Since the system has been installed, the Speedy Solar team have been good with daily monitoring of the system and updates.

Pros: - competitive pricing - good follow up once installed

Cons: - extremely poor communication on delays - based in Sydney for ACT installation so hard to coordinate subcontractors (very little warning for when installers were available to come)

I’d give the communication experience prior to installation 2 stars, the installation experience 3 stars and the system monitoring 4 stars, so averages out to 3 stars.

Worst Solar Company! Don’t trust these guys. My system had issues from day one, and they still haven’t fixed it after many requests. Poor service and no support. Think twice before using them — check your system for alarm codes they might ignore.

Never engage with Speedy solar solutions. They are nothing buy liers. The company has no support, my entire solar package has been turned off since installation as it shuts the power down in my house, 2 different inspections have been done and both said the whole system needs to be re-installed. The speedy solar solutions team were very efficient and professional. From the beginning to end Frank very knowledgeable and the process for the installation went smoothly. Additionally they offered competitive prices. I highly recommend to my friends and colleagues.

Just disgusting service not rectifying problem – I engaged speedy solar to take off my existing 5kw panel and inverter system with an 11.5kw panel and 10kw solar better system with a 10kw battery. seen that they had installed the inverter in a position that didn’t allow me to enlarge my battery bank as I was installed infringing on the area of the intended future batteries. I immediately emailed time after time and sent photos and showed them the original inverter position which was a good metre away. I asked them to get their electrician to rectify this time after time but they didn’t. I’m asked for a quote for the extra batteries and they had the audacity of charging me for moving the inverter. Absolutely disgusting. I would not recommend this company at all. I also told them that I will now be going down the avenue of small claims/consumer affairs to have this rectified as they clearly have no intention of doing the right thing. They will take your money quick smart but don’t rectify bad installations.

Communication was great from Albert from Speedy. Wil the installer was fantastic. Ran out of time when he was installing so had to come back days later. Unfortunately i was working so was unable to set up app etc.I had trouble doing this but Wil made the time to talk me through the set up. Richard from speedy was prompt calling be back to finalise the rest. Recommend Speedy and they are very competive with their prices. Show details ·  1
