train lines a lot of the house was covered in coal dust, but the incredible detail and care that was taken to clean all the intricate timber and the house was incredible. Absolutely no damage either to the house or yard and what amazed me was there was no water inside the windows, and taking into account the gaps around the french doors on the older homes that is an incredible effort and just shows that particular care was taken when cleaning the house. The following morning when i got to see the house in daylight was even better, you would of thought it had been re-painted the previous day, on top of all this Spencer's really helped by quoting and getting the job done with only a few days notice due to myself organising it at the last minute to put our house on the market and finding these guys a great price compared to others considering the job and detail involved. Thanks again and would highly recommend these guys.

Professional Spencer’s External Housecleaning

Thank you to Wayne and William for a great job once again on my home. It’s brand new again. Very efficient and respectful staff, William’s attention to detail and pleasant manner is commendable and I would recommended this family business with total confidence.

Spencer External House Washing – We have been using Spencers cleaning for our family homes for more than 25 years. There work is so good we refer them to everyone we know. Very professional, extremely experienced and always over deviver at the right price. We love their services. Our favourite thing is most of the time when people thing they need there house painted, Spencers bring the house up life new.

Extremely bad experience – Back in January, we had our house cleaned externally by Spencers External House Washing, Brisbane. We chose them because they are a local family firm and we were assured that there would be no damage to plants - it's even written on their invoice! dodging my calls for some time, the owner came around and, despite twisting & turning, he grudging had to admit there had been damage. He said the only plants affected by his chemicals were bougainvillea & tomatoes (!) & it must have been a faulty batch or mixed too strongly. In his opinion, the damaged plants would recover and we agreed to give it another couple of weeks to see what happened. Some did recover but most didn't or were so badly damaged that they were unsightly. After more to-ing & - fro-ing, he agreed that the woman who did the house cleaning would come & clear out all the dead and damaged plants, & if I made a list, he would replace the plants. Eventually, she did come and do the work, but the list of replacement plants kept getting lost, so she suggested that we buy them, text her the amount & she would come over with the money. Despite severe misgivings and with her absolute promise that she would follow through, I had no choice but to buy the plants myself. The bill came to $93ish. I texted as agreed and she texted back that she no longer worked for Spencers & I needed to speak to them. When I phoned, the man I spoke to said that was news to him (she is the owners niece!) but he would check with the owner. He eventually called back to say he would get her to sort it. She kept texting that it wasn't her problem any more. He even went as far as to ask me for my bank details so the money could be paid, but months later, NOTHING. My calls and messages are ignored. Obviously, the damage to the plants should not have occurred, but it did, and we expected it to be made good in a professional manner. Obviously, I have a full record of the chain of events, including photos, records of phone calls, copies of texts, etc so there is no way Spencers can deny the damage or their subsequent behaviour. So much for their supposed 31 years of experience & all of that for $93, Draw your own conclusions as to whether this is a company you want to deal with!
